A 30-year-old Fort Walton Beach woman suspected of killing her infant son remains in stable condition at a local hospital. Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Investigators believe the Wednesday morning incident was an attempted suicide and murder, according to a press release from OCSO. The 5-month-old infant’s autopsy, performed Thursday, he was shot once in the torso area. The infant’s mother suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
