May 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the death of teacher Ewen Scott and student David Kilvert during a Riverside High School excursion at Cradle Mountain. The tragedy remains part of the High School's culture after 60 years, and a special school assembly was held to pay tribute. 

Chris Sayer spoke with principal Jeanna Boulton, and Head Prefects Lucy Walker and Will Wightman, about the tragedy, the 60 year commemoration, and also a special public event being held at Dove Lake in Cradle Mountain.

Katrina Beams is a lead navigator aboard the Antarctic research vessel Nuyina. Growing up on the West Tamar, working in the maritime industry was the last thing on her mind until she tried to get her flatmate a job.

Meanwhile, Andrew Hart love of fishing started at a young age and was destined to have a job in the media after writing a fishy story for the local newspaper. The Hook Line and Sinker television program ended 25 years on air earlier this year. 

The show took Andrew and his co-host Nick Duigan to all corners of Australia and even to Europe with their mad-cap adventures.
