Wilmington police arrested a man driving a stolen car Thursday on firearm charges.
Officers from the Wilmington Police Department were patrolling the 1000 block of Wright Street around 7 p.m. Thursday when they saw a stolen 2020 Nissan Altima with Pennsylvania tags leaving the area, according to a press release from the department.
When they approached the vehicle from behind, the driver, 27-year-old Dequan Williams, pulled to the curb and took off on foot. With the help of the department's K9 Unit, officers were able to apprehend Williams without incident, the release stated.
