Thomasville man arrested for New Year's Day crime spree

A 34-year-old Thomasville man started off the New Year with a crime spree that included attempting to break into occupied houses, stealing several cars, and a chase with law enforcement from Davidson and Randolph counties. Geoffrey Shane Brisson, of 7277 Reddy Foxx Lane, Thomasville, was charged with multiple offenses in Davidson County, including felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny of a firearm, two counts of felony breaking/entering of a motor vehicle, felony burning personal property, felony flee/elude law enforcement, misdemeanor resisting public officer, and speeding. Randolph County charges included felony larceny of a motor vehicle, two counts of misdemeanor attempted breaking and entering, and misdemeanor injury to real property.
