View descriptionShare

An Onslow County teacher is accused of having inappropriate relationships with two students.

Ashley Henson Beasley, a teacher at Hunter’s Creek Middle School, was arrested Dec. 6 by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child and two counts of felony indecent liberties with a student by a teacher.

An investigation began into the allegations after an anonymous tip was received on the school’s online “HCMS-Say Something” site. The information provided was that a teacher at Hunters Creek Middle School was having inappropriate relationships with two 14-year-old male students, according to the news release issued by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office.

The OCSO Special Victim’s Unit investigation found Beasley allegedly sent inappropriate photos and videos of herself to two of her students at the middle school.

Beasley resigned and surrendered her teaching license effective Dec. 5, according to Onslow County Schools. She has worked as an 8th grade science teacher for the school district since Aug. 19.
