A 2014 Onslow County case that turned from a suicide investigation into a homicide investigation will be featured this weekend on a national television show.
The Timothy Noble investigation and trial will be highlighted on Accident, Suicide or Murder on the Oxygen Channel on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Noble was convicted of the murder of his fiance, 58-year-old Debra Coleman, who was found dead at their Jacksonville home on Dawson Cabin Road in October 2014.
The jury returned a verdict of guilty on June 22, 2017 after a two-week trial, and Noble was sentenced to life without parole.
District Attorney Ernie Lee said he was contacted in 2019 by representatives of the Oxygen Channel about the case being covered for the television show. While he has declined similar requests in the past, he agreed in this case after speaking with the victim’s family and the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, who investigated the case.
