In November 2018, Robert “Chad” Bridges was sentenced to a minimum of 38 years in prison for killing Myla Oaks and forever crippling her husband, Jeff Oaks.
The devastating encounter happened just after daybreak on Jan. 27, 2016, on Mann Court in Kings Mountain.
