While vaccine distribution has started among local healthcare workers, Wednesday figures posted by the Alamance County Health Department show the pandemic is more widespread than ever.
There have been 10,057 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Alamance County since March and 136 deaths.
Alamance County remained one of the 65 “red” counties on the state’s county alert system as of Wednesday, meaning there is “critical community spread.”
