Harriet Dyer spent years chasing an acting career, navigating rejection, self-doubt and the uncertainty that comes with trying to make it in one of the toughest industries there is.

Then she co-created Colin From Accounts with her husband, Patrick Brammall—and everything changed.

In this episode of No Filter, Harriet joins Kate Langbroek for a candid conversation about building one of Australia's most successful television shows, why she and Patrick have chosen to end it while it's still at its peak, and the unexpected cost of creating something that consumed almost every part of their lives.

Harriet also opens up about growing up shy, being rejected from NIDA twice, becoming a mother while writing and filming three seasons of television, the guilt of balancing work and family, and why she believes the best creative partnerships are built on trust, honesty and knowing when to let go.

This is a conversation about creativity, ambition, marriage, motherhood and the courage to keep choosing the life you want—even when it's the harder one.

The third and final season of Colin From Accounts is streaming now on Binge.
