We’re both tired from the weekend, but we can rally to get into our feelings about Nicolas Cage playing John Madden in an upcoming biopic, which leads to football season starting and Steve’s experience sports betting as Nikki takes on a new sports picking endorsement, which of course leads us to Vegas baby! We mourn the loss of Phil Donahue by celebrating his greatest episode “Real Peter Criss vs Fake Peter Criss” and that puts us in the time machine marveling at how we survived a world before the internet and luggage with wheels?! Steve tells us about touring in the ‘80s before GPS & what it was like moving from Baltimore to Kentucky at 10 years old in 1975.

We have been having non-stop thoughts about the Aerosmith cancellation and of course as people who have been on tour, (In Steve’s case- A LOT) we have the insider track on the Journey lawsuits. We’re letting go of the “No original members” grudge in rock, mostly, but we still hold the “Farewell Tour” grudge. We wrap it up with Rock star dads like Metallica & HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE!

We have feelings abut how awesome NYC is, while also sharing our first concert experiences and how they relate to the long debated battle between Sammy and Dave as the best singer in Van Halen.

We're excited for Steve's pending trip to NYC, where he's getting the same cheese that Nikki had shipped to SF. Cheese lovers unite! We pass judgement on the two Tennessee Eagles tribute bands who are suing each other. Steve updates us on his eye surge & Chauncey the Wonder Dog's leg surgery. We go over some new binges, like Three Body Problem, Baby Reindeer and Argyle. We also find out Steve is deathly afraid of snakes, while Nikki played with them as a child. Is anyone surprised? 😂

We are talking about Gene Simmons claiming he sold the remaining KISS catalogue to the ABBA hologram team as an act of friendship and not about the money. We are both so very tired today lol Nikki with a post-Green Day hangover & Steve with life in general. Can you believe Steve Gorman has never seen The Matrix?! Not a one...But, we have some shows to recommend and also we really do like Bono...mostly. He's way less evil than Spotify and the recording industry in general. Steve tells us a bout the new eye procedure that will give him perfect vision for the rest of his life & it's 🤯 Steve's dog Chauncey tries to take down a school bus, but wasn't successful, He's going to be ok, but he'll be in a cast for awhile and might need surgery. We talk about how this was the least annoying Oscar Awards broadcast to date, which is all we can really ask for in an awards show.
