And the fact is, no nation or group of nations is in a position to be able to secure Greenland, other than the United States.” Following his speech, Trump announced on his socials that he had reached the “framework” of a deal on Greenland with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and that he would not impose the tariffs against Europe.
