A year after the deadly Gabriel House assisted living fire in Fall River killed 10 residents and injured dozens more, questions remain about fire safety, staffing, and oversight at similar facilities statewide. The Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts says having enough firefighters on duty saves lives and is backing legislation to set statewide minimum standards.
