Jill Kornetsky has spent more than a decade working “boots on the ground” in Afghanistan, from USAID and anticorruption work to founding nonprofits focused on food security and self-reliance. After evacuating Afghanistan to protect her assistant from Taliban threats, Jill returned to Kabul and remains committed to helping Afghan families build greater independence.
