While many local manufacturers have been driven offshore by rising costs and cheap imports, Sydney condiment brand Three Threes is digging its heels in to keep its production grounded in Australia. Despite facing heavy taxes and minimal tariffs on imported competitors, fourth-generation owner Michael McAlpine says moving manufacturing overseas was never an option. "I couldn't ever. I bought the last remaining Australian cars as much as I could, and we held them on as long as we could. So, advocate for Australia, Australia," McAlpine said.
