Nearing 77, André Rieu shows no sign of slowing down and attributes a large part of his success to his wife of 51 years for believing in him.
This year marks 20 years of André’s famous summer concert series in his historic hometown of Maastricht.
André has celebrated 50 years of marriage to wife Marjorie, whose idea it was for André to film the Maastricht concert to screen in cinemas. André’s wife Marjorie works with André on the creative theming of the Maastricht concerts – as well as the special sets constructed in keeping with the theme. The sets are always spectacular and have included recreations of famous castles.
A Cinema Experience Built to Feel Live - Shot with 29 state-of-the-art cameras (including drones) and glorious cinema surround sound, the 3-hour screening includes an intermission, behind-the-scenes footage, and an exclusive interview with André.-
