This year we mark 50 years since Australia ended its involvement in the Vietnam War. It is a chance to remember the sacrifice and service of our Australian Veterans.
The war had a major impact on how Australians look at war, in part thanks to the Redgum song ‘I Was Only 19’. That song this year turns 40.
John Stanley was joined by the song’s writer, John Schumann, to discuss Australia’s war history, and how his song changed our view on Australia’s war history.
