Good Morning Football Live from Los Angeles some more. Welcome back inside our studios. This is Good Morning Football presented by the Farmer's Dog. I am Jamie, Heard Alders, Fell, Brant, Peter Schrager, At Akbar Baji via Milla. Okay, So we're getting used to our new studio here in LA and the four of us being together and it's all wonderful. And we were trying to work out our new routine in the morning. Kyle, what's our new routine now?

Well, just now, Like thirty seconds ago, before the show started, our in house DJ here played the Chicago Bulls nineties introduction music and I started going. But the real star of the show was Akbar, who did the Michael Jordan walker.

I know, the walk go ahead?

This is the goofy. I don't mean call what is this? It was so cool?

But if I walk like that now you would look at me, Its like, but what's wrong with you?

The greatest athlete?

Hey, Jordan never came out of the gates like Brady, like that's going.

On long long?

I can.

I can do it, but not in heelss today. Oh darn, that felt so good. It's like a town hometown welcome. I'll start our show. It's time for the lead block. All right, We're going to take you to Michigan, just outside of Detroit. Cynthia Freeland and Steve Wish are posted up at Lion's camp. And when I say a hometown welcome, that's how I know Cynthia Freeland feels as we welcome the two of them inside our show. Cynthia, welcome back to That's right. I know that feeling. Anytime I get invited to Vikings camp, I start to walk like Jordan as a bull. So like, I get it, you look great. I know it's gonna warm up a little bit in Detroit at camp.

So we want to just check in with you, guys. Wife, We're gonna start with you. The Lions.

They had a brutal end to their season, and now they made some noise in the off season. Why should we think this will go differently now? Maybe with some additions and subtractions with the Lions.

Real quick, as someone who covered the NBA for years, including the years of Michael Jordan in Washington, that's what akbar look like is Jordan in Washington, not with the Bulls. That was that type of watch. I mean, I'm just saying we got to keep it real here. I speaking of keeping it real. You know, we've heard of a particular NFL team going all in, as you just referenced. It is the Detroit Lions who have gone all in. They were very close, Cynthia to getting to the super Bowl. And then they go out this afseason and they invest hundreds of millions in skilled players and Jerry.

Goff and a Mona Ross Saint Brown.

They re up.

They extend three players from their offensive line to big contracts.

They go out and they bring in Kevin Zeitler.

Then they get players like Marcus Davenport, DJ Reider on defense, they trade for Carlton Davis.

All those guys are on two year contracts or less.

But the money they've invested in this was a team again that was a whisker away who said, you know what, that's a big whisker because we've got to go and upgrade our talent. We've got to secure the nucleus of players that we have, and we don't want to have any drama.

We don't want to have any holdouts and hold ins.

So they're all here, they're all happy, and they are well positioned to make another run.

Let's add a little context so that in terms of where they rank as of today in terms of O line, which is number one, not just by mymetrics but also by PFF, so two sources there. And then if you're looking at the D line. Last year, the D line was not a source of strength for the Lions. They were in the bottom third in the league. Now they're all the way up at number eight per my rankings and number four per PFF. So all of these moves going all in adding some key free agents, that has been a huge deal. And of course the draft as well, which was here and adding all of those pieces has made a huge difference.

And that's the Lion to continue to build.

Sidy.

I think there's something going on where a lot of the fan hype and the Twitter frenzy that was going to Dan Campbell last couple of years has come here to LA and landed on Jim Harbaugh.

And I've seen a lot of Lions.

Fan being like, our guy can flip sleds our guy can do this, and we know that the guide drinks a lot of coffee, the daily coffee routine, it's legendary. Really, two vnsy coffees for Dan Campbell, four added espresshow shots, it's like ten energy drinks.

Have you personally known Dan Campbell? Like you have?

You attempted to go toe to toe with him on that. What's the state of the Campbell caffeinated nation?

So I need to wait adjust it because me and Dan Campbell, I know, I look really fit, but I'm not quite as.

Big as he is.

Six ' five sixty five is what I saw. So if you're looking at it out of like a.

Per pound basis, it's like a one hundred and eleven milligrams of caffeine for each one of those energy drinks. So if you're doing on a per pound, he's drinking four point two milligrams of caffeine per pound a day. That's really only like four and a half energy drinks.

Oh no, you cannot try to measure that. That's a whole lot of heart palpitation.

I mean, I'm not saying it's good for my heart.

I'm just saying that it's not as much as you might think because he is so massive to have to you just have to wait adjust it.

Okay, I remember that.

Next time I'm drinking wine, I'm gonna wait adjust my leader.

It takes it's coffee.

It's true. That's my kind of calculation.

That's like Kyle's favorite type of.

Math is pound per pounds.

He can do X Y or Z per caffeated beverage the wine too.

And you guys are doing an incredible.

Job on real quick. Good to see you both. Haven't seen you in a while. I wanted to say, Cynthia, I thought you were fantastic with Sean pay and yesterday the story about Olivia and Denver Camp that was awesome and just appreciate your work.

That was great.

Thank you so much.

And Sean was so cool telling that story. And it's really what football is all about, giving back to the community, making.

People they didn't even know, like Kenny Chesney.

Had no way of knowing that this random girl in the audience was this huge Baracos fan and also a thousand days recovered from cancer. But sometimes it all comes together magically, and it was so special and just shows you the power of what we all do, what all they all do, and how entertainment really just makes people happy, beautiful.

Absolutely Cynthia, Steve Boys, thank you so much. Talk to you guys a little bit and enjoy your day.

I know you'll.

They're going to work on inside training camps, live noon Eastern on NFL Network.

Let's stick with the Lions. Though they were so close.

They were so close last year, pretty much a half of football away.

How can you live up to that?

I mean, the forty nine ers think they dropped expectations of the Lions.

They were right there, so close, and let's let's relive the good before the back. Okay, let's just set the stage here might happened, but we need to do this because the Lions had years of just not winning a home playoff game, years of not hosting a homelayoff game.

He got Mike Tarico, the Michigan.

Man there on the mic who lives in Michigan, and they go and they play a Sunday night game in the wildcard round, and they beat their former thirteen year quarterback Matthew Stafford in the most dramatic ways.

In a playoff game.

And the following week they beat the Buccaneers in another dramatic game that came down to the final seconds where there might have been some clock management at the end there with Tampa Bay. It doesn't matter. Detroit goes two to zero at home, and then they play the mighty forty nine ers, who were a huge favorite in San Francisco. Guys, not only they up fourteen to nothing early in this game, they're up twenty four to seven.

We're going at halftime.

We were having thoughts of Lions fans going to Vegas to face Mahomes and Reid in a Super Bowl.

And it was right there, and they beat the Chiefs left, sir, and they did. They opened the season with the win. We thought they'd go again.

It would begin it and you start thinking about things and then it just comes undone drops like that that owns a haunting one. Obviously we saw are they amazing catch by Ayuk? And then you have just golf just incomplete. It all came apart, and Dan Campbell took a beating for it in the media for the way he handled things in the fourth quarter or time management and all those players did. But to Steve Weis's point, who just was speaking, they doubled down. They brought all those key players back, They gave out mega contracts to three of them. Then they did the offensive line and said, no, we're sticking with you guys too.

How do you get over the hump?

Will you use those memories of the good and use those memories of the bad, and you say, how do we put these together and get even stronger. I think they're a you're older, you're wiser, all of them collectively. I think Jared Goff winning two playoff games and getting his name chanted at the draft was a major moment. And then to get that big Ayda was like, You're our guy for the foreseeable future. Don't have to worry and look over your shoulder ever again. I think the Lions are right there. My only fear is that they spent the offseason reading the headlines being told that they were that team and that they are that close, and they think that they can just wake up tomorrow and just be put into the NFC Championship game again. It is a long season, and now they are not the hunters. They are the hunted. I'm fascinated to see how they come out of the gates Week one, because guess who they play the La Rams again at home on Sunday, No US, so it'll be.

Good, good one. I think people want to see that one. I love what Bret Holmes, the general manager, has done over there. I think what they've done is over the years, since twenty twenty one, they have built a strong team. And the way you do that is bit by bit. You can't just go out and just throw a bunch of cash all at once to try to build a team. And they took care of the cornerstone, the old line, the quarterback, the pass rushers, think about Aiden Hutchinson, and so when you talk about building a team, it's continuously building. So we talk about getting over the hump. How do you get over the hump? You go out there and you get the best dude on the draft. To me, I love Terran Arnold. Tarryan Arnold to me, was one of the best players in the draft. I'm like, yo, these dudes quietly are still moving forward. I believe that they can keep the momentum that they had from last year. I don't know that they're going back and reading it because.

It was a shock.

I think they celebrated it, like yo, like we hear we made it like it's been one of those ones where everyone just kind of rolled off the Detroit Lions.

I mean when have they ever been good?

Right?

Not in my lifetime, I think, you know, I can't remember that time, you know, I mean I just remember Barry Sanders and then of course it right. So I love that, and I think they're going to be able to get over the hump. There's going to be a strong team, They're going to be like they'll win probably in my opinion.

I know it's early. I know it lies. What do you think you said?

What give a range of wins? What do you think though, win between.

Twelve wins for sure? Twelve wins for sure, that's the solid. I mean, anything over is just it's over time.

Well I'm glad to hear that, because I think there's a little sentiment of like, great run last year. We always have that twenty twenty three season. Now you come back down to earth. Now the Bears are way better, and now the Packers are built and everything, and the Vikings are really I don't like that at all. Like I actually think it's a slight to think that that Campbell got one great year out of them and that Jared Goff is going to go back to being Jared Goff whatever the hell that means.

The reason I like the Lions. Let's do this rapid fire.

Everybody just shouted out, ready, how old do you think Aiden Hutchinson.

Is gowenty six?

Twenty three? How old is Penny Sewel twenty three?

Oh, Sam Laporta twenty three, Jamier Gibbs twenty two.

I'm on ross Saint Brown is the unk. He's twenty four.

They gots as Grandpa sayt Brown, they have babies on that. He's only twenty four. That's a four years. I'm on Roussaint Brown's twenty four. Jimior Gibbs is twenty two. Like that is that is really young? And it was like they were just these cool diaper dandies. And I went to the Pro Bowl and I come away with this, is that all these players from all these different teams conveen in Orlando and it's a vacation. They're messing around and Jason Kelson is being Kelsey and everyone just kind of distributes themselves.

The Lions rolled through all of Orlando as a pack.

Every autographed session, every drill, it was all of them lined up and there's five or six of them there. It stood out from a casual observer to everybody being like the Lions carry themselves a little differently, young, cocky in a good way, super confident. I think if the only ChIL I agree with Peter that come up this year is like, how do you handle success? And I looked at Dan Campbell. Peter had to take earlier that the wheels came off for the Eagles last year and once Nick sier and it gets through his rocky references and his screaming on the sideline, what is left cerebraly between the ears? What is the next level for you as a coach? Dan Campbell bite neecaps and doing push ups is great. This is the year he has to be like, this isn't about punching through the drywall. This is about having perspective and calming down. And I'm going to be a Socrates more than Slayer this year. I'm going to be smart and cerebra I'm going to show you guys how to handle success, crazy young talent who don't all have massive contracts and reups. That is a great recipe. I'm with Ackbar. I don't think this was like great twenty twenty three season. I'll go back to the shallow end. They destructed the shallow and I don't think it belongs there anymore.

You have to have a sustainable personality as a head coach and to be able to sustain those wins. That is the last time we saw the Lions do that year off yours the Barry Sanders era in the early nineties. So just try this on for size as we consider this. We were thinking about Lions fans in Las Vegas last year. I mean, the Vegas of the East is kind of down the bayou in Orleans, so like Lions fans in New Orleans, like, we just have to think about it, consider it for the season. Okay, all right, Cold linebacker, he's a friend of our show, Zigar Franklin. He's taking a break from trading camp. He's taking a break eaching down Anthony Richards Lions called.

Super Bowl, Jamie, that's the one we're looking at.

Okay, New Orleans. All right, let's ask a hear about it.

Listening New Orleans for the super Bowl.

It's also Wednesday, I mean, is an undefeated segment you know it, you love it, you need it and made it to Los Angeles Whiteboard Wednesday. What training camp would you want all access to? And who's the best villain of all time?

Who is it?

Right after this white boards out?

That's a good one, villains.

Huh, Good morning football?

Hey, welcome back inside, Good Morning Football?

Join us now? Is cold s linebacker and friend of our show?

Gimfiza or Franklin's that yearning to good?

I'm good. How you guys doing to day?

Right?

Awesome?

We appreciate you waking up at this time top one hundred in the NFL. You hear your name, you see it on a list. How does that feel when you know your peers had to put the effort into write that year Franklin on that piece of paper?

Oh man, you know, just another stepping stone on this journey that I've been on in the league.

Man, you know I said it before.

You know, I'm not one of them dudes that's going to play it all cool like, oh man, I should have been you know, hirer than that. I'm better than these dudes. Like just come from where I'm come from, you know, like I said. You know I told people before, you know I was the two hundred and thirty fifth pick in twenty eighteen. I mean there's two hundred and thirty four people betting me that year. So the fact that I made my way to the top one hundred means a lot to me, but at all so it just shows me, you know, how much further I could take you. So, you know, I'm just thankful, but I'm looking forward to really proving who I am in this league for for.

It, you had an outstanding twenty twenty three, but now it's twenty twenty four. You're talking about all the players who are drafted for you. Only one player in the NFL had more tackles than you last year, and it was future Hall of Famer Bobby Wagner. You were only four tackles shy of him. You got the Walter Payton Man of the Year nomine, you got the top one hundred. What have you done this offseason to make yourself a national household name and bigger name than just outside Indianapolis and your hometown of Philly.

Man, you know, you know, for myself, you know, I think obviously, you know, I've just been thankful to being able to, you know, experience different things in the league. But you know, it's as far as you know, my player on the field, just trying to really expand my game, you know, trying to do more than obviously, you know, hit the ball every since you'll play, you know, affect the quarterback and stuff like that, but you know, trying to make more plays in the past coverage really just been studying myself, studying other greats in this league, you know, talking to other guys. I know about that different jump, you know, and you know, I had an opportunity, like you said, NFL honest, you know, talking to a lot of the guys who had you know, even more exposed at twenty twenty three and asking them like, you know, what was the difference? You know what what what made you, you know, make that big step and just gaining that perspective and you know, hopefully be able to take that add it.

To my game.

Well that right, we have bad news.

I don't know if you've looked around, clicked around right around, but the Houston Texans have already won the AFC South, the Super Bowl. They have a dynasty, they're having a parade, they're the best team of all time. They're all in the Hall of Fame. It's terrible news. Even though you guys did beat them last year and you had thirteen tackles in the wind. Everybody loves the Texans. You got to play them twice, maybe even three times. The CJ Stroud, this young fella is really impressive.

To Miko all that, it's great.

But there's a lot of hype on the Texans right now. How do you feel as the centerpiece of the Colts?

Man, I just run my race, you know, I'll focus on me. You know, whatever whatever wall gets in the way, it gets ran through. So you know, I don't really pay attention too much us. But you know, when you look, when you win the big game, uh, you know, that's what matters, you know. So you know they had, you know, a good win and playoff win, so you know they they're they're king for a day. That's that's typically how that goes. But that's a new year. We all zero zero.

So I just feel like, you know, you're you're you're going up against the Texans and you're not telling them that you I mean, you sound a.

Little political right now.

It was a politically I feel like you say, you know, you know on the top of one.

No, listen, I mean, look, I got a lot of respect for that team, I really do. I do.

I do you know, I think CJ is a hell of a player, young player. You know, obviously Mixing had a chance to compete to get to him last year and since he and then you know, they got the you know, they got Digs was you know, he's been one of my favorite receivers, you know, since before I came in the league.

So they got those guys.

But you know, once that helmet come on, and once they close that game and Lucas Oil and you know, once the whistle blows, you know, that's just a whole different part of me that they're gonna receive.

So, you know, God bless everybody involved, you know.

So now I got to ask, you know, everybody knows that the offensive line, you know, is a quarterback's best friend.

They talk about that old line.

Protects the quarterbacks so the quarterback can do his job.

For you to do your job, you got to have some dogs up front.

How important is it to have to force Buckner to in front of you and having him just as that presence on the line.

Man Defoe's presence, you know, not only just on the field, but in the locker room. I mean he's the leader of our team, he's the leader of our defense. I mean the type of plays that he makes his football like you his motor.

You know, he is the standard that I followed.

Everybody else follows behind. And like I said, that's not only just on the field, that's also off the field. The type of man that he is and the type of leader that he is something that we all strive to be.

I mean, he's a great, great player man.

I mean I mean to be a D three teching and the beginning eight plus sacks a year and making the plays in the backfield, affecting the pass of the way that he does at the defensive tackle position. It's special. So you know, defau, you know he's the Bell Kyle of our team.

Sayer.

We did a segment yesterday where we had this we have very serious television show here a magic wand and we wanted to waive it over players in the league and just for one season, say please protect this man at all costs. Do not injure this person. There are certain names that bubble up throughout the season that we really want to see how this all unfolds. I want to put Anthony Richardson on this list. Tell us what this has been like for him, watching him recover from everything he went through last season. The fact that his rookie year was cut short, and what are you seeing in terms of his second year development?

Man?

You know, obviously it's a blessing to you know, have Anthony back, you know, compete in leaden, working with the guys every day. Man, he's special, you know, not only as a passer, you know, just his presence, his understanding of the offenses just continue to grow.

You know.

I talked to him, you know, plenty, and I truly think you know, having that early success, you know, having a game taking away from you, first of all, gives you so much perspective. But you know, for us to be so close, you know, to our goals and knowing that you know, you weren't able to help, you know, pull the guys over the hump, you know, definitely makes him feel like he's that missing peace.

And he's been you know, fantastic so far. You know. Obviously it's me and him battling, you know, so we're.

Going back and forth in training camp right now, but I'm glad to have him on our side.

He definitely appreciates your advice in that circumstance, I'm sure is that your every time we have you on, we have to ask you about this because it's so important for people to understand what you're doing away from the field, specifically with the organization that you started named after your mother, Schalise's Angels. We know about it, but we always want to make sure that you update everyone on how Salase's Angels works, what it does for people, and where you can learn more about it.

Of course, Salisa's Angels, you know, it's my nonprofit started in nineteen named after my late mother and i of my late grandmother, with the primary goal, you know, just to help young women you know from you know, tough communities and give them expend answers and opportunities that you know they may have another otherwise experience. We've done things like to you know, take girls to Google Six's headquarters, Meta, Facebook, Prudential Center, and so on and so forth. We actually just announced our first scholarship. It's not based off the girls, but I lost my parents when I was in high school.

I went to a private school.

I transferred my sophomore year of Lasauth College High School, and I lost my parents and they took care of me when I lost my parents, So we're paying it for We just announced one hundred thousand dollars donation.

To create a scholarship going.

Forward in perpetuity to hopefully be able to give you know, the next dire Franklin who's going through no situation opportunity to experience the school that's so special to me.

So wow, that's incredible as a year to take what happened to you and reapply it to the next generation. We appreciate hearing about it and people being able to help out so much.

You're the man.

Congratulations on everything, and we can't wait to have you back. And please come to Los Angeles anytime you want to hang with us.

You don't got to tell me twice.

You can make invitation to come in the marina and experience the water.

You know. I love that.

So you know I'm hanging out in the marina.

Huh.

You know a specific destination too that year.

Thank you.

Our news person Instudio Sherry Buris has the news right now, but she is also preparing for her version of Two Lies and a Truth Cherry later.

Are you? Are you rocked and racked with your stories?

Yeah?

I mean, I don't know if they're all that exciting. I hope to stomach you.

Cherry A by Garth for Queen Latifa.

Ever, well that might be one of the questions.

Okay, sorry, I heard she was the body double for Holly Berry.

Oh there, I'll tell you that check in the mail.

All right to your headlines.

Now.

There are high hopes in the Witty City heading into the season, and yesterday's news will make them feel even better. Wide receiver Dj Moore signing a four year extension where one hundred and ten million dollars but more than eighty two million of those guaranteed. In his first year in Chicago, more put up a career high in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown and saying with contract news. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford recently agreeing to terms on an adjusted contract. NFL Network insider Tom Pellasero's reporting it's essentially a one year, forty million dollar deal for this season. Tom adding Stafford and the Rams are likely to play out the season, then reassess their situation and vikings. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson remember, signed a massive four year, one hundred and forty million dollar extension this softseason, but he joined our Jeffrey Tuda and Mark Ross on inside and trading camp says nothing is going to change when it comes to his work ethic.

It's really nothing really has changed besides my bank account a little bit. So besides that, I'm just continued to just being myself, being the leader on this team, being that vocal leader as my teammates and the coaches acts of me to do. And I want to be more of that type of player. I never was that type of player growing up, you know, as a little kid, being in high school in college. But now it's a whole different, whole different vibe and just trying to change that.

You know what we can assess my change is his candy cabinet, right son receivers, But don't go anywhere. It is Wednesday, Whiteboard Wednesday coming up your way.

Next, Good Morning Football.

All right, time now for Whitebird Wednesday, our undefeated segment here on GMFB. Kyle, we are going to give you a minute at some point to talk about the Bears version of Hard Knocks.

Happenings right now, happening. It's big time. Yeah.

And then we got DJ and the Bears are the team. Everything is going on. DJ more signs the huge contract of Ham players. Again, the hard Knocks don't lose to the Titans Week one at home.

Please, they don't do that. It's all out the wind to just lose this theme.

Evan Hester Hall of Fame this weekend as well.

He's been brought to his years reminiscing about his relationship with Lovey Smith.

Like all kinds of bear stuff going on before we start the segment.

Let's just crew, Let's get a racer's out here. I already know how this is gonna go. Kyle's gonna be like, okay, get this off my board. We have no racers out here. Okay, perfect, Yeah, let's work on it.

Okay. So the Bears Hard Knocks trailer, it.

Just dropped Tuesday night, giving us our first look inside training case. So here's my question, other than the Bears, what is one training camp that you would like an all access invitation inside?

Peter Sugar you go first, kick us off.

Let's tell a story.

Go on.

I'm now an la guy, big ella say by my tan and my.

Airs.

I got a text from a friend who is cruising up the Pacific Coast Highway into an area known as Melabu, and he's going up there and there's mastros very nice Steakhouns. There's the Soho House, incredibly exclusive place, and then there's No Boo And parked in front of Nobu is this enormous bus with a giant Dallas Cowboys star on it.

The Jones are in.

Town, they're in Los Angeles and they show up to Nobu and Malibu in a bus.

With a Cowboys logo.

I'm saying, Dallas, there's a lot of drama going on right now.

Is that gonna get paid? Is Ceee Lamb gonna get paid?

It's Michael Parson's gonna get paid.

And I don't think the Cowboys go to Oxnard and everyone just like goes to bed at like seven o'clock at night and says, oh, this beautiful Oxnard sunrise is going to join me in five.

I think they're enjoying LA.

When you have a spot like the the Nobu Malibu and you have that beautiful vista and that view of the ocean and it's blocked by a giant Cowboys bus, you know you're making a statement.

Not on a bus is at Nobu gea wagons that's exactly right. Bus that maybe an occasional Mercedes Sprinter. It's interesting bus.

The the Rams, the Chargers, the Saints, the Cowboys, and GMFB are all in LA at one time, right by everybody out here, and I want to see what's going on in Dallas.

Peter, a couple of pieces of business.

Copy your board has changed from last season. Tell the good people what what audition you made?

You Well?

When the show made the move, I realized I didn't have the outlet that I had at NFL Network for a while, so I had the X slash Twitter and that didn't go so well because I got hacked.

And then I said, I'm joining Instagram.

So I joined Instagram over the last few months and now I'm pushing everyone to follow me at p Shrigger on the Ground, the World Worldwide Ground.

I used to say, ats and now we got to go I.

Want no laptop? Did you really get hacked?

Next? It was actually it was terrible.

It was terrible.

You don't want to go through that.

Whoa, No, it was like a tweet and he was offering people free autograph laptop and I'm like, I know.

And it was a lot.

It was poor guy just had that happen to him.

You checked got me back because I want to check was back quickly I think the Niners. I I a little bit shocking act for like twenty minutes selling.

Free laptops to the authentication everyone right, wow, all right for me, not as cool of a story as Peter there.

But I want to see the Steelers. I would really right now seems like a cool time. First off, I know Mike Tomlin would have all sorts of cool motivational sayings and really getting in guys. I want to see him getting somebody's face. But I want to see that quarterback room, that quarterback r fields in Russell. I want to really see the real Russell Wilson because I think Russell Wilson is also he's taking a lot of heat over the years. I just don't know. I vibe with him. I like Russell Wilson. Yes, he can be a little genderic and he can give you kind of the basic answer, and he can stitch together a whole bunch of you know, little small statements in there. But it's interesting because when you get an old vet like that and you get him in a competitive room like that, I want to see the best out of it. I want to see his office, if you ever got his office in Pittsburgh. I want to see what that looks like. I want to see the relationship between him and cra I want to see if she sings to him in the morning before he goes off to work.

You know, uh TJ. Watt?

I mean I can just remember training camp, and I just remember some of the guys just just going crazy in the weight room. He seems like a meat hit. I want to see the meat hit. Is t J Watt really a meat hit?

Like?

Is he squatting six o five? Sorry if I'm being disrespectful, maybe you're seven.

JJ on all time or on hard knocks like when they did the Houston Texas season. He was flipping tires or running in the rain and everything.

That's where I want to see that.

Russ has never been on hard knocks.

I mean that would be.

The Steelers have never been on hard knock. They've never I mean, they don't meet those qualifications.

They always make the playoffs, which means you're good.

I was speaking of making the playoffs. I just want to go to Texans camp. I want to see, follow Peter on Ig and followed Peter on i G. I want to see the Texans Super Bowl season before it starts. The dynasty starts. Peter, we were talking about this, you weren't around. I have a thing where there's so much love on the Texans that I almost want to zag, just because I don't like to go with the masses.

Like everything you'd like.

Everybody keeps saying that.

Everybody's zigs use zag zigzags. So everyone's going this way that everyone's zigging with the Texans. Kyle wants to zag. I don't like to go with but it's so hard not to.

Of course, of.

Course I love them just like everybody else.

So I want to see it.

I want to see stroud, I want to see the meek, I want to see everybody. This is just this team that they've been crowned as the cool new team. I've done it myself. Let's see how that goes.

You know, what's zagging is the way you drew that letter in on.

Hard time at the end.

Not good.

Now there's no speed round in this segment.

We'll keep going going.

Our newest host at the breakfast table. I'll take my time reading it. Then, Bill, I won't do it. A bar Akbar believes with every single pound of his body that he is six foot six. The internet has unless of six foot five, and then we tried to measure him yesterday and we had some difficulties. It was like a game of twister out here because he's kicking his shoes on and off.

Was the old thing.

Many of us think that the Internet for ones is actually being more honest than what Akbar is doing for us.

Our second topic is this followed pact.

Is the one thing that you embellish about yourself? Because the man wouldn't take his shoes off yesterday because we were at a two inch lift, so the math wasn't mathing. We never got the honesty.

You measured him at six seven and we think you had two inches from a shoe.

It was I was you just on the video. I was down there measuring the heel.

It wasn't you got some Lady Gaga like platform boots on?

I saw?

I want this, Peter, do you embellish anything about yourself? And not really really? I mean no, but crazy?

Is that the question embellishing about ourselves?

Yes? Okay, what do you got? Let's just say that. Okay, I was getting a race answer your answer.

I'm just gonna say that my high school blank career. Originally I had basketball. I remember Skip Bayless one and then he got Candle and then I remember that I was a good high school basketball player. But I'm looking back at high school like you know the song Glory Days my Bruce Springsteene, like that's me.

Like I talked to my son.

I'm like, oh, in high school, I was the man.

Guy was the man. I you know, it was the basketball player. I had all the ladies.

I four, oh, GPA can go to any.

It's probably not true, but in my in my.

In my own head and in my own for my own self confidence, high school career, I was that dude. So I'm gonna say high school career, all of it all. Then I'm still thinking, I'm still pretty proud of myself. But I would say, yeah, the high school career is where I embellish.

To my son. I tell her, I was like, the guy, do.

We have a resident therapist because we need to do some talking. I too have the playing days and I got to tell you this story. So I'm it's my rookie year and I'm just going on and on about how I played at Crenshaw High School, the best high school in the country. We won championships. I'm this guy and we played in this great game my senior or my senior year. It was against Domingus, the Domingus Downs, Compass Domingus.

Tyson Chandler Tyson Channels.

We had Brunner, Tayshawn Prince, Jason Thomas. And I'm telling one of my teammates, oh yeah, yeah.

Yeah, no, I I'm man, and he calls me.

And this is before social media now, so I'm thinking, no one's ever gonna find out.

And he found out, Hey, did you wear number fifty four in high school? I'm going, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Of Corse goes, yeah, I'm watching the game between the Dons and the Cougars on YouTube and you were just in the game for like two minutes.

At the end of the game, Who's calling me out?

And I was like, I mean, you know how you start to sweat.

And he goes, dude, you told me you bawled out in that game.

You're back on the bench.

Oh man, until this day, anytime I see I just it just kind of.

Like that was the worst. That was the worst ever.

You see Nandi and Carrie Washington out of their rest and you have to just turn your head because that's like he knows.

About the high school basketball.

He knows do you say, Nandi, I remember you with the Eagles for two minutes. I mean, that's what I've said to my friends. Also, I know who's a great player, but like if he's.

Coming for you. But I lied, though I lied, I was the liar that.

Well as you are about your height. So speaking of that, this is really funny. So a lot of times with the whiteboard answers, when it's something about yourself, I will enlist my wife. I'll be like, you know, what's my pet peeve or whatever whatever. I have a screencap. I want to show you the text conversation with my wife. Yes, I said, what's something that I ambellish about myself?

She immediately says your height.

Then I say that's that's me saying fart like and she's like, what do you mean. I go, I'm five to eleven. She goes, you're five tens good. Immediately the first thing she said, those triple dots came up the second I posed the question normally, she's.

Like, I don't know, I don't know what your pet peeve is?

Your height immediately and she says, I lie too as well as you. So we have I don't have two liars at the tip, according to her, so I embellished my heights. I went from five. I guess I'm five ten. I've measured myself. I think I'm five eleven. But immediately she just hit me between the eyes.

And that The next white pard is why do men feel compelled to add an inch to the height.

I don't get it. What is the deal?

Because you want to be no, yes, there's something Freudian going on table.

I'm gonna put this. I'm gonna we're going to end this thing, all right. I am six. I've been six six since I was six six.

All right.

I was about to say that wasn't to me lost.

I reached that height. Were you five seven? Five to seven?

And I have no reason to accommodate for anything that I ever did. I was just an adequate high school basketball player. I played Division three college basketball. I have five foot seven, and I am making not lying about anything.

That was the tallest player in the NFL is the Kalaias Campbell.

I'm trying to there was a six foot nine guy least.

Who was the tallest player in the NFL. I got that, who Donald?

Oh yeah, okayt the Bolt yesterday.

I did not see him at the ball you would have seen.

Last weekend at San Diego Comic Con, there was a big surprise that Robert R. Junior revealed himself as the next Doctor Doom for Marvel's upcoming Avengers movie. Downing Junior now goes from superhero as iron Man to super villain and Doctor Doom. So sports movies or comic books, anything you got wide open book here, who is your favorite villain Peter of all time?

This is going deep in the archives for the fans at home.

Let's go back to nineteen ninety five, a little movie that didn't necessarily tear up the box office, but is close and dear to a lot of people's hearts because it is one of the greatest comedies and kids love it and you can find it on one.

Of the apps very easily.

The movie is called Heavyweights and it stars Ben Stiller Disney movie as an evil villain Tony Purkis. Now, if you know the movie, Tony Purkis is one of these self help gurus, but he's running a kid's camp for Heavyweights, and it is one of the most incredible films and Tony Purkers is one of the biggest you know what you could ever imagine. You want to punch him throughout the movie, and he's hilarious. So my favorite villain of all time is Tony Purkis. And if you have that Purkos power, you know it at home. It's fantastic. And he's on Disney. Can I link this to football?

Let's go.

Aaron Rodgers was at Disney World a couple of years ago with his significant other and they got some sort of guide or hook up or whatever, and they did a little sit down interview about Disney, you know, just to like maybe to pay them back for giving you this tour guy. And the woman this is this young lady who's doing Itney. She asked Roger's significant other, what's your favorite Disney which she's like, oh, the Little Mermaid?

And Aaron, what's your favorite? View goes heavyweights?

Really, and the woman's like, oh, she had no idea what it was in her of it, and like he had this big smirk on his face. Rogers loves heavyweights. I'm surprised they didn't actually cut that. I was gonna say it's an answer from Rogers.

Kid Goldberg, the goalie is in it, a couple of.

Kid steps on the scale and Tony perks to him, you are the heaviest kid at camp, and the kid goes.

I speaking of heavyweights, my favorite villain is Mike Tyson. I mean in the nineties, I mean, this dude was everything, knocking people out left and right. But my favorite probably I know this sounds really bad, but he was the guy that you just rooting for, even though he was quote unquote the villain the biting of the ears.

I'm not advocating for violence, right, I will eat your kids all praise.

Me to Allah.

I'm like, wait, what I mean? It was just the thing that you had to watch. He was musty television. I mean, heck, I was still waiting to see him on Netflix going again.

I wanted him.

To bite Logan Paul's ear off, I mean, like, just eliminate him.

So he said he would eat len Ex Lewis's children. Lenx Luth did not have any children. No, they didn't even care. Went right through it, Olivia, Yes, I'll just bring it all home with this.

This is the greatest video of the greatest villain.

If you're yeah, break the glass, can't get the hell out of my way, that's Belichick walking into Detroit and prime Belichick years. You may love him, you may love everything represents we all do in our own ways. But a classic, classic villain over the AFC, in the entire NFL for years, just knocking teams, off ending careers, Bill Belichick, that was possible.

Now he's becoming an America sweetheart. You know what I mean? He is so it is.

It's like he's got the sleeves on the hoodie and like life is changing for Bill Belichick.

Yeah, there's something something.

On the Tom Brady ROAs. My favorite was when he came out to that Darth Vader.

The Dark vas.

Oh yeah, when's the Belichick roast?

Some material.

We all and the show and we go home. Watch the Olympics.

Yesterday you saw the women's gymnastics team from the US win all around team gold medal. And that's our friend Jonathan Owens. We had him on the show on Monday before he flew to Paris to cheer on his bride, Simone Biles, heat and the four other wonderful young ladies who were on that team, and they won gold yesterday and look at them. He's there, he said, He told the Bears because saved you for the Bears. The team final was on the thirtieth and her all around compters on the second. He gave them both dates and the Bear said go and enjoy both of them, which is awesome.

That's cool.

That's cool.

Shout out to the Bears for doing that too, because I mean that's not an easy thing to have a member of the team go off and do something very personal like that. And you gotta love that husband going out. You know he'll be able to wear that one for a very long time.

Babe.

I'm miss training camp to come over to come see you.

You know, it's just everything's coming up, Bears. You can't go ten seconds talking about the Bears.

Eat interesting things off the field things, HBO things.

Please beat the Titans Week one. I'm gone.

I'm gonna keep coming back so that you can't lose it home to the Titans. After all this a lot of pressure.

Hard knocks? Are they in Paris?

Do we have a hard knocks boondoggle or some producers like I have to go gold, I have to go It's gold, I got and then gets a week in Paris.

That's pretty good game.

It was so great. Did you guys see him yesterday.

He was sitting next to her parents, and he had the scoring sheet of paper and a pen. Watching her was so great, like his her official statistician by hand.

It was so good. We're gonna have a riff off.

That segment later on MFB, so stay tuned when we return. You know more, a couple more hours of the Farmer's Dog, I mean, Good Morning Football and Rogers.

What is he up to in New York
