Good Morning Football.

Welcome to Good Morning Football. We are live in Los Angeles. I'm Sarah Walls filling in for our Jamie Earl, who is in London. She will be on the show momentarily. We've also got Mike Rob, We've got Mantiito. We got Kyle Brant joining us from New York. Kyle, you mentioned classic question players get asked, are you gonna have a moment pregame on the field. Jamie brought up classic questions when you do international games, arrivals are always such a big deal. When are you showing up? So here's a classic question. How are you doing this morning?

I'm doing so good this morning. I'm so fired up to talk to you guys. I love the Manti is here. I love that Mike Rob is here. I love the Mike Rob floated a theory that Stefan Diggs could potentially score against the Buffalo Bills, this former team, and throw the football at the Bills. It was said, back it up.

Yeah, I said it. I said it, and I hope it don't happen.

Mafia's thing.

But hey, man, man it might be a little upset right now, I hear you.

Dude, that's for the weekend. But week five is here. It is time now for the lead block. The Bocks and Falcons get ready to battle for the top of the NFC South Division. Baker in the box entering tonight's game after a convincing win over the Eagles. When they take the field and Atlanta Falcons head coach Forhem wors knows, nothing is gonna shake Baker Mayfield.

What I can do to you could prepare him, Just tell him exactly who he is. He's a tough guy that's going to go out there and compete at a very high level. And you got to know that going into all these games, right, we're talking about a guy that's been through it, ups and downs of it all, right, being a number one overall pick, really making Cleveland relevant, kind of becoming a castaway when he got hurt, when he played through an injury for a whole year with the search for injury and then having the ability to come back and find his legging back with us with the Rams. So we go to the now Tampa Bay Buccaneers and becoming a division to champion. So like for us going to play against some a tough competitor that's ready to deal at all times and will not be fearful of anything. It's something that you can tell you guys.

Yeah, Mike.

Rob brought it up yesterday. Baker's just so gritty and that's why the guys.

In locker room love him so much.

It sets up for a little Thursday throwdown speaking to be in tough, speaking, to be in gritty.

Here we go.

What duo is going to have the bigger impact tonight? Is it Kirk Cousins and Drake London or Baker and Mike Evans?

Mantai you go first em.

Rob brought up somebody in our last segment, right the three v three. He brought up Chris Godwin. Would you believe yeah, that on that team, he is the robin to a batman. Because there's a man on that team named Mike Evans compared up with Baker Mayfield, it is dangerous. And Baker Mayfield has openly said if you're going to play cover one and he's one on one with the receiver with Mike Evans, he doesn't care.

Who's on him. He's throwing them the ball.

So I'm looking forward to watching Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans lighted up.

They did it last year. Why they kept both of them.

That's what kind of resurrected Baker Mayfield's career.

And that's a beautiful connection.

It's a beautiful relationship and they resulting a lot of those, it's a lot of touchdowns. So I'm looking forward to watching Baker.

Mayfield and Mike Mike Evans light up that scoreboard.

Yeah, I gotta go with Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans as well, just simply because of the fact, like Baker and Mike are like this, like it's one on one on the outside.

The hell with the players, just go deep, Just go deep. They're not gonna throw it up. Oh Mike dropped it.

Mike run back to run back to the huddle. Hey, brun do it again. Throw it again?

All hell, I throw it again. And I'm so glad.

We entered into this segment with Raheem Moore saying what he said.

He called Baker fearless. He said, Baker has.

You know, I talked about it on the show yesterday about the brick that he has.

And to me, that's the difference between Baker and Kirk Cousins.

You can blitz Kirk Cousins and you can predict what he's gonna throw the football after that blitz because you can scare him.

Baker's like, Okay, blitz me. That's fine.

I'm gonna throw right into the heart of the blitz.

I'm gonna try to make you pay because you And that's why his teammates rally around him.

That's why this team is where it is.

That's why they gave him the contract, and that's why I think Mike Evans and Baker Mayfield will have the bigger dame.

He's gonna lower shoulder and then he's gonna talk trash when he does.

Anybody buss are gonna say, don't do it.

Kyle, Yeah, I'm gonna go with Cousins in London for some of the reason you guys are saying. I do think Mike Evans is going to be productive to night. I do think Godwin is I think this is going to be a high scoring game in the Dome. And I really think that Drake London needs to have a game like this. He's played really well against Tampa in the past. I mean, it's just he kind of has their number. It's close as you can come to that. He's in his third year. This is an eighth overall pick. This is like it's supposed to be a superstar if you ate the overall pick, if become superstars in primetimes against rivals.

I think this is the one.

If this game is high scoring, like I think Cousin's going to have to put up big numbers to somebody. And let's be honest, we all know it's not gonna be Kyle Pitts.

So Drake London is gonna be there.

I think he's gonna have a n you know, I say, like one hundred and seventy yard night from Drake London, And we all know that's true. We all respect Kyle Pitts islan he does in the field. Guys, we've been waiting for like twenty years for the Skyle Pitts thing.

Tomorrow. We think it's gonna tomorrow. AKB, We're gonna have this clip.

Yeah, Pits tonight is going to have three catches for twenty one yards.

We're gonna be a great, great job.

That'll be actually an uptick.

You had Chris Godwin as one of your top guys from Penn State playing right now, he actually leads the Buccaneers in receptions and receiving.

Surprise me went to State.

I mean yeah, But.

So they've been wanting to get Mike going though, and last week Baker was like, Hey, we're gonna get him going early and often.

And you know what they did.

They threw him a touchdown the first drive and scored.

Is what they do.

There's no question they don't hide what they're trying to make.

Pulls his hand up in the huddle and say Hi, Mike, go that way, and the.

Like it was on the recess field.

Yeah, I don't have the football in the huddle, so just go this way.

Yeah. I like that.

All right, here's the next one. What makes for better content for this show? Davante Adams with the Chiefs or Davante Adams with the Jets.

Man, massive question, man, let me tell you Adam Scheffer report of something yesterday, and he said that he wants to go somewhere where he has a relationship with his former quarterback. And there's on one team that ain't on that list, and it's a team that's down in the South that has a quarterback called Derek Carr's who that's the Saints. I want him to go down there. I know that's not on the question. With the Jets and the Chiefs, I want him to go over there.

Obviously, you have chrys Olabe.

Down there, you have Alvin Kamar down there. You have a whole bunch of people down there. But Davante Adams said that he wants to play with the quarterback that he has a relationship with. Obviously there's only two. There's only Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr. So sorry, Bill, I know that's not a question, but that's my answer. I like him going down to the who that's for personal reasons.

Obviously I've been there.

I understand what you said. But hold up, man, let me high let you real quick, man. We're in the locker room right now. We're not on TV. It's just me and you talking, all right. For the content for the show, it's probably the Jets. That's probably the better content for the show. But to me, I believe if you went to the Jets with the young receiver like Wilson there, I'm not so sure it doesn't stunt his growth and his development. And I'm not saying that Davante Adams couldn't be a great mentor. I think Davante Adams is one of the best receivers in the league. He's played with other receivers. He has the ability to be a great mentor. But Aaron, this isn't young Aaron Rodgers anymore. This isn't that dynamic Aaron Rodgers that's going to extend the plays a bunch and there's gonna be a lot of balls to go around. This team is gonna have to live in the run game. This team's going to live in a play action past. This team's gonna have to live in winning a little ugly in money and playing defensive ball. And so I just think it could mess up the development of Garrett Wilson.

He's truly the number one receiver.

And when you bring a Davanta Adams in, then when you're in the big offensive meeting room with Nathaniel Hackett, who's the threat, who's the guy that is going to be that coverage dictator that they're moving around, and you don't want to disrespect guys.

In that room or to anything like that.

I just think that, yes, it'll be great for the media to have Davanta Adams with the Jets, but for the development of the young team with the Jets, and is more than just this year. You know, I think it might be better suited at DeVante.

And Roberts says content for the show.

Oh, but I'm still a football guy at hard.

It's about team development and you just look at that young core with the Jets and you just want to keep those guys together.

It's content, Kyle, give.

Us the Jews.

We didn't opera after.

You to us. I'm so amused and pleased right now.

There are many barometers with which to measure a new host joining the show and getting comfortable.

One of those is just completely ignoring.

The question and going on their own route, and MANSI I do it all the time.

I totally respect it.

Sometimes you're just like, you know what, Jets Chiefs. I don't like either answer. I'm going to give my answer, so I totally respect it. However, at least one of the three people answering.

Has to answer the question. That's the rule.

It can't go over. So I'm going to try it.

Here's the deal.

I'm going to try to get inside the viewers' minds, NFL football fans minds. You have here, Demonte goes to the Chiefs, you have that chief's fatigue, which is real.

So stick of the Chiefs.

But then you have that in contrast to obnoxious New York East Coast Jets stories constantly, which they also hate.

My answer personally is this.

I think the answer is New York because I like the content we're going to get from the Chiefs this year of can Mahomes.

Do it all by himself?

In effect?

How much can Mahomes have on his shoulders if you throw them a lifeline him give him DeVante. That's great, but I want to see Mahomes really turn his rings around and try to hero ball his way through this thing.

Now, Mike, as he goes to the Jets, everything you're saying is right.

Of course, the idea that this isn't young Aaron Rodgers. It's maybe not the same Aaron Rodgers. He may stunt the development of Garrett Wilson. Those are all true, but those are all great content like that is awesome. Rogers doesn't have it anymore. They've ruined Garrett Wilson. All of it is terrible for the Jets. It's good for this. So I would say the Jets in a runaway.

Many Kyle content everything you were saying, I'm thinking, yeah, like, what do we live for this stuff? Mike, We're not trying to be.

Practical clear heart though, you know what I mean, it's about the development.

No, you can't do that.

We'll see what's happening here, Kyle us not playing in the NFL, that's just in the media that are like, give us the juicy storylines, give us the gossip, you know what I mean?

The players a by the way, right, kath you've been doing media longer at this point than you were playing NFL football.

You don't say nothing. Be quiet?

Are you talking about.

To break?

Break?

Next question?

Here we go.

This is where it's going about to get ugly. The question is this who has the better uniform, Michael Robinson's Penn State or man Tize?

You asking me, yeah, yeah, do you know what I'm want to pick? Yeah?

Actually, yeah, it's got to be.

Something, Sarah, You and Kyle should have answered the question. I mean, they're both legendary, legendary uniforms. Like, that's one thing I love about Notre Dame, Penn State, Alabama is those uniforms that they don't you can put that uniform up anywhere in the world, and they know exactly what school that is.

Like you could put Penn State uniform up.

You could put the interlocking dye end up, like if Jamie took this Notre Dame Jersey to London, they'll know what.

School that is.

Same thing with Penn State. So I mean, you know who I'm gonna pick, But come on.

I which all I will say, is this all right? When you look up at the sky, I don't know if you're praying, meditating, whatever you're doing, you see blue and white.

You know what A strong argument?

All right?

So listen, I'm not going to pull a man tie and say, you know what, it's Oregon. I gotta go with these two, all right, And listen, I don't want to disparage either them. I really don't, because I really genuinely like them. And Mike, you've heard this, like people say, oh, Penn State, it looks like practice uniforms or so. I don't believe any of that stuff. I think it is really classic. And I even like the all whites. I love it. If I have to choose, I think there's just something just a tad more special about the gold helmets.

They have actual gold in the paint.

It's something magical.

It matches the golden Dome at Notre Dame, but you guys match the white out of Penn State. It's it's fifty one forty nine se me Notre Dame. And that's mostly because I grew up a Notre Dame fan. But huge respect to Penn State uniforms. I don't disparage them at all.

Mike knew it as soon as you said it.

So here's the thing.

You said, exactly what I was going to say, Kyle, Because you want something that puts you over the edge, because they're both classic, it's legendary.

It's a gold helmet.

And I remember doing a game at Notre Dame and they we were filming stuff ahead of time. They let us in the locker room and I have this picture I still remember it to this day of me sitting in a locker holding the Notre Dame helmet. Because it's special, it's different, it's I mean, I'm sorry, I'm wrong. They're all classical, you know what I mean, But like it's just it's just sort of stops, it just tops everything, right, what.

Do you know?

The guys know what else?

I respect about both of these uniforms, no name plates, Like they're not doing that stuff.

It's not about the name on the.

Back, right, you guys never had your name on your back?

I know we never had our names on the back cout. I do think because we obviously we had some coaching change and I think the names came back for a second then they came back off or whatever. But classic white helmets, one stripe, blue tops, white pants, class name socks, black shoes, that's what we do.

Did you guys ever?

And I know that it's this team thing to what Kyle was talking about how there's no names on the back, and but did you ever wish it was?

You know what I mean?

Like, I just think your high school kid come out like you there's something about seeing your name on the back, and I is that selfish to say? But yes, I've worked my whole life to get there. How big of a deal is it that you go.

To Notre Dame.

Is there any part of you that was, like, I get it.

I'm all in on the team thing.

But do I wish it said tail on the back of my jersey?

Yeah?

Like, well, we would put our names on the back of the jersey for a bowl game, and it was just specifically for the player so that we could take the jersey with us after the game. That was the only reason why we would put the names on the back of the jersey for the bowl game. However, I love the fact that I didn't have my name on the back. Why because there was a number five before me, and there's gonna be a number five after me, and it's all about my impact on that number. What's the legacy that I'm going to add to that number amongst the whole legacy of greatness with number five, you know what I mean. So I really liked that about Notre Dame and Penn State, where it's more it's not just about me, it's about this team, it's.

About this culture.

It's about the tradition and what can I do to add more to that tradition. What kind of impact can I leave on this community in a way that makes it special to me? Because there's gonna be a number five after me, man, I just want to make sure it's specially.

I'm right there with you.

My whole thing was I wanted to elevate the expectations of the number.

I knew the.

Twelves that came before me, and I'm like, there's gonna be twelves after me. I'm gonna make sure I elevate the expectations so high that they may not want the damn number like I did it that way man. But no, I love the fact that my name.

Wasn't on the back.

Well, you guys are good people.

I'm not.

I'm selfish.

Lost on the I want to get there the better half of the table over there. It's Thursday, and that means it's time for just Bulldog with Mantai. That's coming at you next with.

Some names that you need to know that got.

To show up in week five, cop.

Bus, We're going across the Atlantic Ocean. The great inimitable Jamie Erdall joins us live from London, England to preview the Vikings Jets week five showdown that's coming up. Jamie is going to have very charming regional references. It's what we do here on London time in the NFL season.

And there she is looking regal.

Look Gallane and I lookt and smart and plugged in Jamie earn All from London.

After this.

Good Morning Football.

Welcome back to Good Morning Football. That music means we were about to leave the country. Go to picturesque London. Right there at Buckingham Palace, there's royalty and there is Jamie Erdahl, who is royalty here on good morning. But I mean I'm sitting in the Queen's chair here on good morning football, right Jamie? And I got to tell you, if there's one thing I look forward to at the International Games, you said last hour you look forward to giving updates on when teams are arriving. Who doesn't need that information? I look forward to every year. What's Jamie going to wear in London? Because you're very on brand. You always have this London look. You're very buttoned up today. You look like you might be going to a hunting lodge after this to sip some tea.

I don't know.

Yeah, she looks so, she's got her nun, she's got her tweet on at my.

Mom get nearby.

Correct, she's probably got some boots on.

We can't see those.

Cool.

I understand that you had quite a travel day yesterday. What can you tell us about that?

What happened?

Yeah?

Well what happened was this goes back to a conversation where we created content last week on the show, and we all had a long drawn out inspection of what kind of international flyers we all are. Now, Kyle Brant would prefer the person next to him speak a different language than he does, so then he doesn't have to talk to them.

I admitted that I am a Chatti Cathy.

I like to make friends on the flight, and it's because it allows me to make parallels to the football game on Sunday. I made a friend on my flight here. She had come to LA, this friend from London to get over a really bad breakup. Okay, so she spent a couple days in Los Angeles and then we were on the flight back from LA to London. So I said, so did you do it? Did you get over your breakup? She said, I think I did. I think I became a better person. But the true test will come on Monday when I have to go back to work and see my ex. They work together. I did not get her contact information to follow up. I kind of regret that. That being said, it made me think about Sam Darnold and the New York Jets and how man, what a bad breakup that was, What a bad version of himself as a quarterback. He was with the New York Jets, and no matter how big of a person which he has become, because every time he's been asked about play the Jets this week he says things like, you know what, I never played well enough that I thought I should have when I was in New York.

You know, I tried to do right by the team.

He is being a bigger person, But you have to imagine that the true test for Sam Donald, even though the players aren't the same, the coaches aren't the same, will come on Sunday for him emotionally to go up against his former team in the New York Jets. Now he has that friend, that wingman that's really trying to bolster his soul in Kevin O'Connell right now this week, Kevin O'Connell saying, I don't have a lot of interest in talking about former versions of Sam Donald.

I think we should remain totally present with Donald.

So when he plays the quarterback position well as he has been doing, that's all it is that he's being a.

Great quarterback and you move on from there.

So he's got the friend who's trying to have his back get over this breakup.

He's gonna go see his X on Sunday.

And even if he says Sam Donald that he doesn't care and he's a better and bigger person, I think we're all here for the juiciness that lies within trying to face an X.

I give Sam total credit. I'm ambry, petty person when it comes to these kind of things, so I give I hold grudges. So you talked about Sam Darnold going up against his former team. But Jamie, as you really dig into this weekend, what are some of the other storylines that you can tell us more about for Sunday?

Well, I can't stop thinking about Aaron Jones and the fabulous weekend he had last weekend at Lambeau going up against his former team.

Are you sensing a trend here?

It has to be emotional for him though he's such a loved player.

And teammate in the NFL. We love him on the show.

He's somebody that sits with us on GMFB for hours in the offseason. And then Aaron Rodgers comes out this week and says that's one of his favorite teammates he's ever been around.

He brings moxie to a huddle.

He is a smart player that is a guy you want coming out of your backfield. There was a certain love that Rogers had in speaking about his former running back, and my goodness to the Vikings fans, and I can assume Kevin O'Connell love having Aaron Jones in Purple. The resurgence of this running back in his career has been so impressive, and this was not he wasn't expected to drop off. It's just that the Packers wanted to move on from him and go to Josh Jay. It must have been felt great for Aaron Jones last weekend going up against the Packers, and I can imagine there will be a hug between Rogers and Jones on Sunday.

But I am really.

Excited to see how the run game travels because I think that is a very easy thing to rely on offensively when you have to go international.

You got such a cool matchup, Jamie.

I mean, this is I feel like you you really deserved this.

I know it's a long travel over there, and can you can you imagine anybody sitting at home the Jamie Rudol who has three young children and gets a little private time on the plane to just unplug and watch a movie and is sitting.

There chit chatting.

Chit chatting not only made about someone's personal life.

Jamie, you got to get one of those masks. You gotta recline, you gotta put the headphones on.

You can take the girl out of Minnesota, but she's bringing Minnesota to London. I can't believe how nice you are on a plane.

She said.

I came to get over a breakup. But I said, Champagne, do tell what are we talking about? What are we coming into? It lasted. It lasted for the first the entire country.

Once we hit the ocean and we started to really get it halfway to lot It. Then I hit the recline on the seat. But I was in on this story, and really the utmost disappointed myself, Kyle, I told you that I wanted I always exchange email A dresses.

I don't know what was wrong with me. I didn't.

I want to know how the story ends, but I know how my story will end. On Sunday, We're going to get answers about Darnold.

The Jets, Jamie.

It's a great report.

I think if you start a flight and turn to the person next to you and say, I want to tell you about my breakup. You should be on the do not fly list, but that's just time.

I also I.

Sat down and talked to someone seat by seat. It was basically I was in the middle seat, he was in the aisle seat. And it happened to be the Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is going to be playing.

In this game.

Of course, just to set the stage, this happened on Monday, a few days ago. Remember, on Sunday they had a really tough i'll just call it miserable loss at home in terrible conditions to the Broncos, in which Rogers was batted around all over the field. The next day, less than twenty four hours later, he sat down to talk with me for game day morning.

You'll see the whole thing this weekend.

And imagine after that context, he's talking about his fight with father time.

Here's a clip.

What do you like about still rocking and still playing football in your forties?

Like the football part of it, just fighting against father time? You know, I think there's something beautiful about that. Now it changes the way you prefer for sure. In my twenties, I could eat a bag of Starbirs, jelly beans and a couple of cheese verders from five guys, and never think twice about it. Now, you got to be a little bit smarter about what's going in and how you spend your time. But I love that the chance to beat back Father Time and then continue on this and play the way I want to play.

How's that fight going?

Which a stalemate right now?

Really?

Yeah?

And listen, respect after two rounds, it's Father Time in the corner, two rogers in the corner, two spitting in the bucket.

Putting his mouth guard in.

Listen, guys, there's a lot more where that came from, and there's a lot more.

Football to play.

That fight with Father.

Time is no joke, especially when you also have to fight Mother Nature on the same day. No more starbars jelly beans, though, Mike rob you know what that's like.

Your body is temple.

Yeah, no more starbars jelly Bean's. Great job, Kyle, great job of having the courage to sit down with Aaron after the weekend he had just had, after all the memes I've seen from sitting on the sideline with the tie over his head. Man, So great job by you getting answers from Aaron Rodgers. But I thought it was interesting to hear Aaron Rodgers talk. First of all, father Time is undefeated. Okay, Father Time always wins, all right, so we do know that. But it's just interesting to see Aaron Rodgers. I never played with a quarterback that was I don't want to say this, oh, but that's basically what I'm saying this seasoned right that even when you look at him, like you see his big grown out a little bit like he looks like the wise the wise football guy in the Jets, you know, organization.

Like like he could be the coach, you know.

And just the fact that he survived this long to be able to just be a dictator on the field and be basically a coach on the fielder basically an offensive coordinator on the field. I think it's just interesting to hear his perspective on the game.

You know, we've seen you.

Know, Tom Brady and other quarterbacks play for a long time.

But I just think it's.

Interesting to see him in real time talk about his fight with Father Time. But again, we got to remember Father Times undefeated man time.

Yeah, it's beautiful, Mike Bro.

You know, we go through that little transition we call it the maturation process of the NFL football player, our rookie year, we're in the Popeyes pete Us getting all the burgers. It doesn't matter. We're just eating anything and everything. But you start to get later in your career, and I remember I was talking to Philip Rivers and Eric Weddel and they were tlling me later in their career how they make it a goal every off season to lose a pound, to just lose a pound, and to get lighter and lighter and lighter. Is because we start to realize that one our body doesn't respond the way that it used to. It doesn't heal at the rate that it used to, and it's not going to it's fa the time. But what we can do is watch what we eat. We can stretch, we can do all of the extra stuff to put us in the best position to be able to play on a game day. So it's so beautiful to see that from all ahead. Like our kids, you're kind of telling them like do this, do this, No matter how much you tell them, they're not going to listen until they get older and then they realize like, oh yeah, da knew a little something about what not to eat and all of that stuff. So all for all them rookies out there. If you want a long career, watch what you eat, honey.

Yeah.

I'm not saying not have to pop Eyes, but you know, cut it down a little bit.

It's just a little bit five. Yeah, just cut it down a little bit.

None of it not bad advice.

This one pound each off season. I also think you look at Aaron Rodgers when you see that it's twenty years that he's been in the league, I almost feel like it's a typo that he's been around for just so long and a testament to what you're talking about. Mantai I doctor players on the Commanders, and I remember, I think was Jonathan Allen said how much he spends on his own personal care of getting his IV, a messeuse, a chef, and you don't think about the parts that go into the off the field aspect and why these guys are so successful, which I think is also a testament to why we have seen Aaron Rodgers so be able to play this way, particularly coming off that Achilles injury at his age.

Absolutely all the inflammation that could be in your body at that age, you know what I mean to recover and it can.

Actually get tiresome.

Being, you know, an older player, because you got to think about it.

It's not like.

Aaron Rodgers need the money, you know, so you start to ask yourself, why am I doing this? Why am I still getting up My bank account looks like this, and I'm just tired of this. But it's the love of the game. So again, great job Kyle for in the courage for going out there and talking to Aaron after.

A tough day.

Yeah, I covered Tom in the last years of his career. You want to talk about a guy that takes care of himself. I mean, obviously it's well chronicled what he eats and probably more chronicled, but he doesn't eat. I mean, no one was as psycho as him in terms of taking care of himself. So unfortunately it's getting old, guys. It's Sunday Morning Football Live from London at nine thirty am. So you know who's up early, old folks long getting up early, exclustingly on NFL network. I mean I'm up early now. He's Aaron Rodgers and the Jets taking on Justin Jefferson and the Vikings at Tottenham Hawkspurs Stadium in London. Ry shine and watch the Jets and Vikings on NFL Network and streaming on NFL Plus.

So with the NFL trade deadline about a month away, the future of wide receiver DeVante Adams in Las Vegas a topic of conversation moving forward, as he's told the Raiders he'd prefer to be treated. NFL Network insider Ian Rapaport is reporting Adams has several teams he wouldn't mind being traded to. His first choice being reunited with Aaron Rodgers on the Jets, but Ian adds there are a handful of other teams in the mix as well as for his current team. Head coach Antonio appears trying to block out the distraction and focus on Sunday's game against the Broncos.

I get paid here to get ready to each and every week for the opponent. I don't blink, I don't flinch.

I don't know.

I've said it before, like I've been through enough of my life with adversity and stuff that doesn't bother me. I just move forward to the next obstacle in front of me, the different broncles, and that's what I presented to my team and that's what they're doing right now. In the meeting, We're about to go out to practice and do it versus the Broncles.

In the sense that they absorb that message.

Staying with the Raiders, defensive end Max Rosby missing their Week four game against the Browns a high ankles brain, but he said on the Let's Go podcast he put us to play on Sunday against Denver. Crosby says he's getting a lot better and starting to feel a lot more like himself. Could be scary for Denver, but here's the site. Browns fans love to see running back Nick Chubb back on the practice shield Wednesday in a limited basis, if returning from a devastating knee injury he suffered in Week two last season. When we come back, it's time to Balldog.

Manti breaks down some of his favorite plays.

I see him stretching in the corner.

You don't want to miss this.

Good morning, Welcome back to GMFB. It's time for another edition of Just ball Dog. We're taking a little different angle though this week and looking at guys or teams that are coming off a rough week, but we know that they're going to get back to just balling Dog. First up, we have the Buffalo Bill's defense.

We're in Baltimore.

The Ravens offense took advantage of that defense. We're gonna start off with the first play of the game, a natural trap. As linebackers, we got to understand there are plays that we're gonna make and there's plays that we're gonna have to alert our teammates to make, and this is one of those plays. We got the quarter flat defender, one of the hardest positions and the hardest situations to be in. But these linebackers were all over the field, missing plays, being out of sync.

It looked rough in the first half.

And so as we're getting to these things, as we're going through this game, it's often hard when you get punching them mouth so early in the game to recover the first play of the game, Derek Kenner goes eighty seven something yards for a touchdown. It's hard to get to get back on track and your off balanced a lot.

But we're gonna get it now that you're in this segment.

We're gonna show these linebackers as they start to get into the second half, they start to get their groove, they start to settle in a little bit on this game.

And so we're going to.

The second half with these linebackers making plays, forcing the fumble, fumble recovery.

The same game. Now, this is the same game. They didn't show this on TV.

They just showed the Baltimore Ravens gashing these voys, making sad making all these big plays, responding, and this is the character of this Buffalo Bill's defense. It's funny they weren't saying that week two when they went into Miami. They weren't saying that Week three when they shut up the Jacksonville Jaguars. But all of a sudden, Baltimore Ravens come into town. They have a bad outing, and now everybody wants to panic a little bit. Here's the stats and week once too three, you see it compared to Week four, they're almost.

Doubling those numbers.

In the week they're just doubling sixteen sixteen points allowed to thirty five, two hundred and eighty six yards per game to four hundred and twenty seven. There's a whole bunch of stuff on this list that you see that the contrast between the two teams.

M ROP.

Tell the fans at home.

What you think about this Buffalo Bill's defense.

And why you're confident about them going into weeks?

Why the reason why the linebackers are all over the place.

You see that rushing yards per game allowed first three.

Weeks only one hundred and eighteen.

We four against Baltimore.

Two and seventy one. Come on, man, you can't give up two.

Hundred seventy one rushing yards and expect to be successful on defense. So when you're giving up that much yards rushing on the ground, that means every time the quarterback turns around, you're concerned about the run, okay, and so all of a sudden, now you're going for screens, you're going for fakes, You're all over the place. You stop the run, get your linebackers back and off.

Now we're talking about the run, Mike Rock. That's perfect segue into the next one.

Come on talking about the run right now, right and then and and we've seen this highlight.

Matter of fact, KB actually put it on.

He gave the center to this man, David montgomer on this exact play.

And a lot of people were talking about Devin.

Witherspoon, second year guy out of Illinois, talking about hoop man ty?

Did you see that play? Did you see did you see him get run over by David Montgomery? What do you think about that?

Well, this is what I think about this about the second year player. He was compared to Cam Tanslor. If y'all don't know Cam Tandler, just watch these plays coming up by this young player for the Seattle Seahawks. Yes about that business.

So well, let's see see him against Jaylor Warren, one of the more ferocious runners in the NFL. Off here about that fear about that second place and say Oh, maybe it was because there was a running back. Maybe maybe he was scared because he.

Has a running back.

It's a good one against James Connor, another running back.

Come here, James, let me take.

You for a running Yeah yeah, now.

Last will not least people I heard this question say maybe he's scared, No Spoon.

Maybe maybe there's this efwork called fear. Let me this what fear to look like?

Yea Spoon ain't scared?

Yeah about that life, bro about that life.

I'm not worried about this young man.

I'm not worried.

About his ability to hit players in the NFL. And if y'all forgot, I just showed you three perfect examples and this was his rookie year. Three perfect examples of this young player can't be now. I know you get the scepter to David Montgomery. What is your feelings about Devin Witherspoon going into in week five.

I'm confident about this man.

He got got.

I genuinely love doing angry runs. It's not an act. I get up Tuesday morning and I have a smile on my face.

It's so fun.

The one thing that I don't love about it is the guys who get trucked. That's just part of the business, as part of the segment. I never really celebrate them specifically. It's not about them. And in fact, Devin Witherspoon has huge, huge respect for me for the way he handled himself on this play.

I don't want you understand he ran into David Montgomery. You understand, Devin Witherspoon is one hundred and.

Eighty five pounds. He's probably one of the smallest defenders in the entire National Football League, and he hasn't give damn. He not only got hit, he got up again and sprinted down the field to try to get him back.

I love that he did this.

There's our old friend D'Angelo Hall used to say about playing cornerback and guarding wide receivers. He would say, like, there's no old gunslingers, you know, it's just it happens. You get got, you get beat. Hey, Devin Witherspoon ran into a truck. It happened again. And you know what, when Seattle plays the Giants this weekend, I bet Motor Singletary will be coming around the corner looking for Witherspoon, and Witherspoon will not hesitate for a second.

He got trucked.

It happens, he will get up again and deliver a hit.

I love how he handled himself on this play.

To your point, Kyle about getting gout, there's a there's a Seattle legend, but the name of Marshawn Lynch.

He said, I know.

I'm gonna get got come on, but I'm gonna get mine's mother.

Say it though it is a podcast, subscribe, baby, set me up.

We got we got the last one now now, now we're gonna talk about the on four Jacksonville Jaguars. Okay, Now, I know everybody got everybody's got an opinion that the media has got an opinion. But I'm gonna talk to my talk to my my boys down there in Jacksonville real quick.

Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna talk to these voice bill real quick.

It's been a tough start for Jacks and their defense is their defense is a big part of it. Okay, So listen, real real close. Witch a man, that all my brothers down there in Jacksonville. First, this is a National Football League where any team can lose at any time. It's any given Sunday, So why not get Sunday? Why not now? After the Buffalo Bills game two weeks ago. The media had a lot to say, but like all good teams, we regrouped, we responded, and we fought.

But now we got to finish. We just gotta finish. Last, but not least. We are the Jacksonville Jaguars. No, lord, I know a lot of guys.

Are banged up on this team, but an injured animal is always more dangerous.

An injured animal is always more dangerous.

And unfortunately, some people are gonna find out just what happens when you're back at Jacksonville Jaguar in the corner.

Just ball Jacks, let's go.

My god, you man, that's what I thought I got from that.

It made me think it was like, you.

Know, the wrestler back in the day, man, like the eighties wrestler's mouth was pumped, wacho man that you gonna cow?

Oh man? That was awesome, bro, Just ball dog.

I like you, brother, Thank you, thank you.

And Spoon Spoon about that action. Go back on yo, b Spoon about that action. Man, nobody shit ever question that with the Spoon's herd.

Yeah, no, for sure, And that's what That's one thing I wanted to make sure that they understood. It's just like, man, this kid, he's been second year, he's been, he's been balling.

It's all of these.

Questions, but is let me show you that he's about that action. So that's why I wanted to make sure my ball that my boy, Devin Witherspoon knew I had his back.

There you go, dude, that's God's work because we celebrate the big hits and nobody does it more than me. But there's another person involved in that. And to go back and say no, no, no, look at these other things that he's done. This guy lays the wood. I love that he did that. He'll do it again. Devin Witherspoon, We love you. We're watching this weekend against the Giants.

Sir, mine from fifty to give the Jets to lead, fifty one seconds to go.

Take us one the way.

It's got plenty of distance and it is.

No God.

It floated right heart.

Right for the Jets. The Broncos won't hold on and win this game by a point.

Well they're gonna get a chance to write things in London Hawkyle, yeah and better like it's you didn't think this would be this important really just in the win column.

For the Jets.

They're two and two coming off a loss like and they're playing I think the best team in the NFL.

So it's not just a fun little.

Matchup in London and Rogers against the Vikings as old buddies we battled for years.

It's a critical, critical game for the Jets.

The Vikings lose, they come home, they're four and one. They put their act together. It's fine the Jets lose. Like the newspapers there, the sky is falling. It's not just the tourist trip. This is a critical game for the Jets. They got to have it.

They do.

Gotta have it, Kyle, and they better not jump off sides.

They better not have no free penalties.

They better get it right.

I'm telling you, you know.

All in all.

Honestly though, like this team has to I believe they have to win and look a certain way. I know they'll take any type of win, but they have to play some clean football. I just hadn't seen this Jets offense. Just go out there, look clean, run the football, be explosive, and just look like they're a viable team that could challenge.

For the division.

This is this is the week to do it, Like The beautiful thing about international trips is it's just you guys in the hotel, you know what I mean.

So you get to have that camaraderie, get.

To play those those games together as teammates and start to.

Bond a little bit.

So these international games it's a big benefit to these teams that are struggling a little bit as far as their chemistry. So I'm looking for them to rebound out there in London.

I feel like that last game just seems so like that encapsulated the way the Jets season has gone.

We see Aaron Rodgers with a.

Towel over his head, Quentin's upset.

It's raining.

Turn it around.

It maybe rains in London, but don't let that rain on your parade, Jets.

We'll be back.
