Good Morning Football.

Welcome to Good Morning Football, brought to you by our friends at Old Trapper Beef Jerkey. We're live in Los Angeles and New York City. I'm Cherry Burris here alongside Akouar Baja bian Milla. We were insider Mark Rofolo here at the table, our friends holding it down as always in New York City. That's Peter Schrager and Kyle Brand there.

Let's just roll the tape because I could watch this for three straight hours.

I wanted to.

The sa Quan play yesterday made waves around the league. It's one of the coolest plays you'll ever see. And you're gonna watch it one more time here and just be.

In awe how he does that.

It's insane and yet are we preachers and of the moment. Here's my statement, Sakwon Barkley's athletics spin into a reverse hurdle is the most athletic play in NFL history.

This gave us an excuse to go.

Into the archives.

Akbar.

We're gonna start with you in or out.

Okay, before I tell you where I'm going with this. I just want to say I have been fortunate to see a lot of different sports in my life. I've worked the Olympics, college football, I've done some basketball, ninjas, NFL ninjas. I've never ever in my life seen anything like this. I am so in on this, and for the very first it's never happened. For the very first time, I'm going to announce something here that this play right here can only be done by a ninja. So I am pointing Sae Kwon Barkley as the next American Ninja Warrior. Yes, Kwon Barkley is the ninja Warrior. Take a look at this. Only ninjas can do things like this. This is ridiculous. To go backwards in the middle of the field and to jump up there. You see Daniel Gill over there working working the obstacle course, that's exactly what saquon.

So, Saquon, where's my camera right there?

Saquon, I need you to come out on American Ninja Warrior and come crush the course.

You're a ninja, forget it. That's my ninja right there.

How do I follow that?

And how do I follow that by by going to the negative?

I guess, I guess I'm out because not negative.

It's not negative, it's just it's it's just so hard to stack it up against some of these other I mean, it's top five, right, it's top three whatever. But I just the first play I thought of last night was this play.

Back in two thousand. I forgot the date.

Two thousand.

Uh well, I believe it was twelve into the endzo sixth the landing far you.

Said you've done the Olympics, you'd see this.

The landing right there to get into the end zone there, it's amazing.

I mean, like the flip itself.

If we've seen that, to be able to stick the landing as well. Uh, I gotta put that as my number one.

Excellent Okay, all right, all right, I see what you guys did there the hate out.

But I'm not going to say that is the most athletic play.

I'm gonna say it's the most risque play that I've ever seen. I think the fact that you even have the goal to go ahead and do a jump backwards over another grown man while looking at him between your legs, I think the level of disrespect is on an all time high. But I'm gonna have to say that I am out on the fact that it was the most athletic play because with Mike just.

Showed right there was absolutely insane. He saw where he was flipping. I hear what you're saying. He jumped over something he couldn't see. I see you do it.

I've seen you do it before. He never seen me jump over nothing. I ain't never seen before. I can't jump over I have to see what I'm jumping over like it's never been done.

The dudes in Ninja, I hear you, I hear you.

I mean I'm in on this. I mean it's the saquon thing. Looks like when you just start button mashing in a VAM and something crazy happens. I think there are little kids who probably saw that play and they're gonna be football fans for live because they saw that play. And yet let me just offer an alternative. Say here, can we go to the Dome please? I want you to keep an eye on the late great Larry Allen. This is on offense. Troy Commit is gonna throw an interception and his three hundred and forty pound guard is going to run down the linebacker number seventy three.

Get them, big, Larry, Come on, Yes.

There is absolutely no reason or need or explanation for a man that big and strong to run that fast. Larry Allen is a Hall of Famer as a blocker. In my opinion, he's a Hall of Famer as a sprinter and a tackler as well, wherever he is up there, Peter, I love the sa kwan. I love that, Larry Allen.

It's awesome that you showed that, because I immediately went to big men doing insane athletics oh.

As well, and I went through it.

I'm like, all right, bj Raji catching touchdown, don Terry Poe doing the jump pass touchdown.

That's where my head went immediately.

Also that in football you get these enormous three hundred pound plus players doing things as limber as Olympians in their one hundred and eighty one and ninety pounds. But I think it's Saquon two, Jamie, Are you going Saquon?

Also?

I am only because the reference point is NFL history, and NFL history for me just started and ended on Sunday when I led the skull clap in Minnesota. So yes, that's the most athletic thing I've ever seen, because I watched no football on Sunday except Vikings Colts. Except for that one play did get brought up to me in the stadium. People were like, did you see what Saquon did? So I'll just go in on it because that's the only thing I saw besides the Vikings win and myself.

Jamie, if you said if you said no and offer Jordan Addison's catch, I would have been fine with that.

Also, jumping around that was pretty athletic. That was athletic as well.

So this is our second question. This movie has aged gracefully. Fans still quoting some of these iconic lines on social media and in everyday lives. But the film had quite the cast of characters top notch. I'm looking now, Pro Football Hall of Fame tweeted, there's five Hall of famers.

In The Water Boy.

We want to know does that have.

The best NFL cameos?

The water Boy?

Or are we just going against the field here, Peter, is.

There another movie you like?

You thin that has better NFL cameos than The Water Boy?

Do you have the list? I know Jimmy Johnson.

Was in the water Soil Cower Dan, do you have it there?

Lynn Swan and Lawrence Taylor are the pro the Hall of Famers in that one in water Boy.

Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna one up that that film.

I love The water Boy and I love Sandler.

Obviously, I've said if I can have dinner with one person in Hollywood, there's not many I care to meet. Sandler's one of them. I would like to have dinner with them. Sorry, Hollywood, I know it's been a rough couple of days. Cameos in the movie of the Little Giants, though, include my idol, John Madden.

If you give me.

John Madden in a movie, John Madden is what I'm talking about. John Madden comes in with Little Giants and he's got Steve Edman, all right, Bruce Smith, Emmett Smith, and Tim Brown.

So you're talking cameos.

We're going starting with the Madden Cruiser, and we're going right down from there, and I am going Little Giants the ice Box. Becky O'shee, I'm not gonna lie. I thought she was a pretty good player. I had a crush on her.

As a kid. There we go Remy Devin Sawa too. He wasn't bad either. Annexation of Puerto Rico.

Nice job, Peter.

I'm gonna have You're.

Gonna have dinner with Adam Sandler. I had lunch with Vince Vaughan yesterday, and by that I mean I got some takeout food and he was sitting right there and we kind of looked at each other.

Wow, yeah, all right, you're best friends now.

Yeah. I didn't make a move though.

Uh the water Boy, no, Dan Fouts, who you mentioned, one of the Hall of famers. I thought, Uh, it was fantastic between him and Brent Musburger. You know, they they're not holding anything back. And Brent starts firing back at him, and then he says, the water Boy just needed some water, and Brent coast did you think of that all by yourself?

Shut up, Brent.

Those guys were fantastic.

They really added to to the Bourbon Ball, the Bourbon Ball. I wonder who sponsors the Bourbon Ball these days.

Evin Williams probably sponsored that. You know, water Boy's funny, like one of the all time greats. But in that you know, you remember there was a professor who was talking. I just thought the word was funny. I love anatomy in there in the movie, the professor's talking about where anger, jealousy and aggression comes from the medulla ambling gotta. That's the funniest word ever. Is like in the brain somewhere the medulla amblegata. But who embodies that? Lawrence Taylor. Lawrence Taylor was in The water Boy and he was also in Any Given Sundayday and he played that. He played that exact way, Any Given Sunday type style with the badullah ambling gotta, all out of whack. He played with so much aggression. But Lawrence Taylor big time star. And that was in back to back years. He did that, ninety eight, ninety nine he did that, So yeah, he's a big time movie star.

I'm gonna go with the Field here. The first movie that came to my mind, which again it might be showing my age, The Long Yard, but the Adam Sandler remake where he had Curb in there. I mean, I know Nelly didn't really play football Goldberg. This movie to me was like, wow, he really played, and he really played, and he really played. So I'm kind of with you there. Peter with the Adam said, I think didn't John Madden call the game the inmates versus the Guards?

Yeah? If he did? Yeah, And you know they had a press box.

Peter King was in the movie Jay Glazier with the movie how about a remake? How about a remake of the remake? Peter, We're available. We can use some fifteen cent prison not ACKs.

Have any of you guys been in a movie?

No? No, I would, all right, so I'm gonna zag on this. I really do think the longest start is a great answer. There's someone else who did their type of thing, but I actually think did it better. Nineteen ninety one, Scott Back of the Vehicle Necessary Roughness cooks. The State Armadillos have a scrimmage against the penitentiary team. The bus from the prison pulls up guys Jerry Rice, Roger Craig, Earl Campbell, Dick Budkis, Tony Dorsett and two tall Jones, herschel Walker, Jim Kelly, Randy White and a Vander Holyfield. That is your row and then they absolutely beat the crap out of the Texas State Armadillos until the warden fires a shotgun as they get on the bus. They say what are you guys in for?

And they say computer fraud. We all laugh.

We try to keep Rob Schneider from stealing the movie which he really does. But Texas State Armadillos, the Hector Alisondo, straight Arrow, Gennaro, all those guys at the Ireland, at the Ireland, the Kicker, fantastic, fantastic movie.

I love the movie.

Robert Loja. No, we're gonna have to do that. Well, that was our homage the icon. It's way better than water Boy, way better, guys. You should say, good mon.

Football, good football.

It was the game of the week, and it was the comeback of the week.

And now the Los Angeles Rhyans are not only alive, but they are red hot in the NFC West, and we are joined by their head coach, former Coach of the Year from Super Bowl champion, mister Shawn.

Guys, how we doing good?

A few hours removed still from that that over that overtime victory, which was one of the biggest games of the weekend. You guys are down at the half, come all the way back, go to overtime, get the fourth down stop and then Stafford does with Stafford does and looks miraculous.

What was your feeling at.

Halftime when this team was down and what did you say to them as you somehow found a way to mount this incredible comeback.

Yeah, I'll tell you what, Peter, this is a resilient group.

I mean, we did a lot of things that were not in alignment with how we want to operate, especially going into that half. You know, we get one of our best players, we'll have better emotional control moving forward. We lose him, we have penalties, we have off sides that give them opportunities. You know, we had five off sides that led to one hundred plus yards in a touchdown. But they just stayed steady and we knew that if we regathered ourselves, we give ourselves a chance. And the offense ended up sworn right out of the gate two possessions each later. It's a thirteen to thirteen ball game, but both defenses pretty much controlled the game. And then ultimately, like you guys saw there, Matthew made the plays when he had to.

But man, in eight weeks, it seems like we have experienced a lot with this football team.

We have a lot of youth, we still have some veteran leadership from guys like Matthew that you see there.

But it is a fun group.

But I told our guys yesterday, I said, incredible, But man, we don't need to show our resilience as often as we're having to.

We want to pay more consistent throughout Sean.

I say this about you all the time when you're not here, but now that you're here, I want to say it to your face. I think you're the best coach in the NFL, and I really do mean that, And I love Reed and Tomlin and the hardballs. I think I think you are the number one coach in the sport right now. One of the things I love that you do is how you motivate. And you've always had phrases over the years and that we not me and the standard is the stand and I eat that stuff up. And I think a lot of ex high school and college players maybe didn't play in the pros and had that across weight rooms and stuff.

Love that.

What do you got going on this year? What is the message?

What is the phrase? What is the hashtag?

Because I love this stuff?

Yeah, you know what it's it's fluid and we still say a lot of those same sort of things. But you know, we've got some acronyms that you can see behind me right now with the with fast and fastest kind of the style of play where we talk about fundamentally sound attacking situational masters in the ball.

But but really, I mean, for I know, you guys are gonna kill me after I.

Get situational masters.

I love that.

Hey listen, and we're all thieves. I mean, I didn't make that up. I got that from somebody years ago.

So you know.

But what I'll tell you what it is though, And you know this, Kyle, these guys are You've got to be able to have something, all right?

What is it that is the motivation that drives us?

You know?

We I'll tell you what was a cool documentary if you guys haven't seen it, is the Comeback on the Red Sox. We showed that to our guys last week. You know, you listen to spots of Kevin Malar, Hey don't let us get one, you know, and you just see the mindset of a champion, or even showing Kobe with the Redeemed team and the influence that he had on with his mindset going into that game against Spain and how he set the tone from the jump. So all these things that can resonate in an authentic way. This is an emotional game if you play into it the right way. I think you saw in Peters deal. We got a lot of young players, especially those guys on defense that are doing that. And our quarterback is as fun and as into it, and you talk about a guy that has a joy playing the game.

That's when we're at our best. That's what we always want to be.

Yeah, Coach, what you guys have done has just been so much. And we're just across the street from you here at NFL Network. Been to one of the games where I think it was the Packers game, so we've seen the kind of the bumps in the last much fun early on.

Yeah, right, I think this season one and four.

But as you look at this three game winning streak you've been on, is there this this moment where you're like, yes, they've gotten it, or there's been a catalyst to the street that you guys have been on lately.

You know, I would say this. I think there's been a consistent resilience that our group has shown. I thought the Minnesota game was probably the most complete game that we've played as a team against what's been an excellent opponent. But what I am seeing is I'm seeing a grit. I'm seeing an ability to finish opponents. But it's a weekly league, you know, humility is only a week away.

I want to see us continue to.

Be able to handle things the right way, and we got a great challenge against the Dolphins on Monday night coming up at home.

Sean, you know what I love about Braden Fisk, your rookie defensive tackle, go.

On, no gloves.

Love it.

It's like the guy up there with no batting gloves at the plate there. It looks like he wore them at one point in college. But he's going gloveless and he's doing everything he can to upset things up up front? What do you see in regard to him and being and his ability to replace Aaron Donald? I mean, you don't replace Aaron Donald, But do you see me similarities between those two players?

Yeah? I think you know.

The first thing is is he is refreshingly himself. You know, he's a tough, you know, relentless competitor.

He loves the game.

He does have a similar way where he just stares a hole through you at team meetings.

Like what Aaron would do. Give Smith had a great line. You know, he had an unbelievable game. I thought he impacted the game from the first quarter to the fourth.

He was awesome.

Had two sacks. He could have had a few more. Our d line coach Give Smith said, he's like Santa Claus. He was just passing out half of sax to other guys because he would basically.

Get him started and then free it up. But he was he was awesome. He's only going to continue to get better. And these guys love football, they love competing.

They're mentally and physically tough, and uh, you know, been really pleased with with what Braden's done. He's an old school kind of toughness, which is exactly what we love. And you know those kind of guys last.

And coach, I gotta ask because it looks it looks like you guys are you know, the offense is picking back up. You guys are getting healthier. Seems like there was a lot of dependency on obviously Cup and Pukinakua. What was that mindset as you guys are kind of battling through the injuries and where are you guys now in the state of your health as far as moving forward in the NFC way.

You're getting healthier, you know, we you know we had the injury, you know, looking back on it, probably worked out that Puka didn't have to play as many snaps last week, whether we wanted it to go down with it.

Or not, because he did have the little need.

He had the need scare during the course of the week, so he should be healthier. Both those guys are just so steady, and there's such a rapport between them and Matthew. It looks like we might have a chance to get some of our offensive linemen back this week as well. You know, with Jonah Jackson and Steve Avila, you got to establish a rapport. But I want to see us, you know, continue to establish some consistent identities, and you know the enemy has to say but when you get your guys back, you give yourself a chance. But I think we have been forced to develop some really good depth and you see guys like Tyler Johnson do an amazing job stepping up to two at well makes a catch and then DeMarcus ends the game. So three completions in that overtime period on three throws, one run to Kairain Williams, three different receivers, and I think when the ball gets spread around, that's.

When we're at our best.

I very rarely buy football jerseys.

I was at the Rams game a couple of weeks back and I had to buy a Steve a Villa jersey.

I do.

I have it.

It's amazing and I'm so happy to hear it come back some of my favorite players in the league.

I think that guy's awesome.

We had him on before the draft.

He is an amazing player and I think he's really good.

So I will rock my It's it's the Rams and it's got.

A Villa on the back around Brooklyn and people are like, I have no.

Idea what that is. Just wait, just wait, you'll see come back. I'm gonna drop some Steve you get it.

I'm gonna and there's not a lot of seventy three jerseys walking around Brooklyn, New York.

I'm gonna drop some trivia on you, Sean.

Okay, yesterday was Election Day and we had this really cool trivia question that Jamie Erdall Brock brought up in Miami of Ohio is one of the answers. Okay, Miami of Ohio is the is one of only five American universities to boast a US president and a Super Bowl winning quarterback.

Can you as one of the great Miami of Ohio alumnus.

Can you name the Super Bowl winning quarterback and the president from your alumnus?

I can name Ben Roethlisberger, but my knowledge outside of football is embarrassingly low.

No, there's a little shot. Yes, you know that. Wow, how did you know that?

Because break up on the screen. They'd be like you got that answer before.

There's no way I can in good faith lie on National.

TV with you, guys. I love Sean.

I do have to ask you. You know, people know you as this coach and this mastermind.

You're a pretty good little football player.

Now we know the story that you won State Player of the Year over Calvin Johnson and Georgia.

I know you don't like that one. It'sbout your Miami of Ohio days. Okay, come on down't here by your Mima with Ohio days. You're returning kicks for for for Miami Ohio.

Yeah.

It was uh, you know, there was a lot of good opportunities. You know, there was some unfortunate injuries, but some pretty cool experiences. You know where you get some great relationships. You know, you get Chris shule A, Joe Canigilo, the two guys on our staff. You know, you talk about the power of those bonds that are created, and then being able to do this with those guys is really special. That was what I loved about Miami is a lot of guys that were very similar and like minded, competitive, tough.

You know, we had some really good teams that went to MAC Championships.

But as far as as far as the Calvin Johnson stuff, it's the most ridiculous thing ever. There's the reason why one guy has a gold jacket and another guy's wearing a blue hoodie.

Coaching right now, hey, coach, the next man up is one of the most overutilized sayings in a game of football. You have my old wide receivers coach from the University of Washington, Coach Yards out there making sure that the guys in that particular room are ready. You lost Pooker early, you lost Cooper Cup early, and the guys stepped up.

What is your message to the rest of the guys on your team outside.

The next man enough to ensure that those guys are ready for their opportunities when they present themselves.

But I think it's the credit to those guys number one. But it's the credit to Eric Yarberg. There's a culture he's established in that room. I think one of the most powerful things you can provide as authentic belief as a coach, and that's one of the best things that Eric Yarbor does.

There's an authentic belief.

There's a confidence that.

He instills, and then they also understand that.

The work works and our job is to figure out what maximizes their skill sets. It is the next man up, but it's also all right, what does this next man do well within the framework of what we're asking. And I think guys have done a good job of being able to do that. But Yards is a sud You know, we've been together for this is season eight now and love working with him.

Hey, coach, I got a quick little trivia for you. I'm going to do what Peter does. Quick trivia what Los Angeles High School coach Yarbor go to?

You know what Yards?

The question is is how many different ones did he pull players out of when he was recruiting in college.

I'd be Crenshaw High School with me. It's the answer is always Crenshaw High School. If I ever give you to know this, he is like the he runs this city.

I do know that much.

I love nothing more than go to a Rams game and seeing Yarbs with that little toothpick in his mouth before the game, just walking up and down the sideline, the coolest guy, coolst cat, and he's got maybe the most talented wide receiver room in the league. I want to go back to your personal life, though. I know your life friends made a little more complete over the last thirteen months. And you guys just celebrated your son, Jordan's first birthday and did so on the day of a game where you guys beat Minnesota on a Thursday night.

What's it been like this season knowing that it's not just you and Veronica and the Rams. But you're going back to your guy JJ too.

Perspective, you know.

I mean, I think you know when you see that smile and you talk about, you know, just making sure that in the midst of this journey, both good and bad, you never lose sight of the gratitude and the things that are the most important and how that keeps you motivated. I've mentioned it to you guys before. I can remember when there's been some challenging years and you look at and you have easy excuses to maybe do some other stuff. And I would have never been able to look my son in the eyes and say, when he hits adversity, do as I say, not as I did.

And so there's a real motivation, the real purpose. And man, he's a happy guy.

And uh, he sure loves his mom. But seeing that smile is a really cool thing. And his personality is really starting to show. And he likes to mess with you and very much like his dad. So he drives his mom crazy.

But he is.

He is the biggest blessing we could ever ask for.

I have another. It's awesome.

Shot.

He's got him on his twenty forty three mock draft coach.

He already got to believe it.

I think I just named him coach of the Jets next year.

I'm going to pass his name for it.

There's two things that can keep him quiet, sitting on my lap watching film or Miss Rachel.

So like love her work.

She's a very talented I pushed for Miss Rachel to be the Super Bowl halftime show performer, but Kendrick Lamar went out, I don't.

Like, didn't I watch Miss Rachel? Has she been around that long?

Yes?

Well, we've got Benny, We've got our daughter. Now Betty's.

There's something to it.

Just wait, just wait till Paul Patrol takes over your life.

Only good if you if you need something a blue.

Hits pe pig.

Yeah, speaking of blue, rams are blue and they're winning.

Sean, thank you for joining us this morning.

Good luck this weekend, another big one up ahead.

You're the man. Appreciate you, Hey, thanks guys, appreciate y'all. All right, Sean mcvaigh joining the show. That's the man right there. He's awesome. Rams are red hot. Let's keep it rolling.

Good morning football.

Well, that tune of music only means one thing. We are heading to Munich, Germany.

That is where NFL internationals wrapping up this Sunday. We have Panthers, we have giants there in Germany.

We also have our Arnall. We miss you here in studio, girl.

But you are racking up the miles so far starting the week Minnesota. Now you're in Germany.

How has it been going for you so far?

I am living the NFL fans dream right now, the way my week has been going, and we're coming to a close here on GMFB ahead of Panthers Giants. Good morning or good afternoon, everybody. It's just after two o'clock here in Munich. I'm not getting booed on GMFB. This is the Panthers fan fest and they just introduced Luke Keiklee, amongst the other legends that are here, Steve Smith's senior, Julius Peppers, Jonathan Stewart. All these guys are up on the stage just behind me right now, and all the Panthers fans from the US and here are here to see some of the legends. We hope to talk to some of those guys here in a little bit on GMFB. Both teams have arrived in Munich. They are doing the quintessential Land and keep your body on the right clock as kickoff is just forty eight hours away here for the final international series for the NFL. Now, those are some Panthers legends that are here. I got another story for you guys from people that flew over here from Los Angeles to Munich. I first thought yesterday it was the Kevin Costner take. My husband came the day after I did. He was on the same plane as machine Gun Kelly Shane on Kelly is doing the halftime for the game.

So last night, machine Gun Kelly's band was at the Hotel bar and we hung out with the band.

Okay, so I got to know the keyboardists, I got to know the bass player. They are Brown's and Bill's fans, respectively. We went deep on what Cleveland should be doing and how maybe Josh Allen is the guy instead of Joe Burrow to finally take down Patrick Mahomes. These guys they roll deep the of course they machine gun Kelly or Colton. He is from Cleveland, so he's friends with Baker Mayfield. He's friends with Travis Kelcey.

It was a good hang. So you're gonna see.

Machine Gun Kelly, who just came out with a new song with Jelly Roll by the way, called Lonely Road. That's kind of a remake of Country Roads. So you would hope that that is the song that has performed at halftime from Unis on Sunday afternoon.

We call that a tease, Jamie. I just want to go pro on you and your husband, just to see what you guys are experiencing their Munich.

That is fantastic.

And when we get to our kids, we know how to hang.

Parents' trip at Munich. I hear you well, good to see you. Excited to watch you on the sideline. We'll check back in in a little bit Jamie.

Thanks. Thanks.

All right, let's get to it, guys, a time around of mad Nick in a but sixty seconds on the clock kind of go around the horn. Here, share our thoughts starting the first game Philadelphia where they host the.

Cooper Rush led Cowboys.

Mind you in this NFC East rivalry, see the Cowboys have lost three straight. Things are just getting hairer in Dallas. Do you see things being turned around this week?

That would be a note sherey.

Look, this is a situation where the fact that Dallas is Cooper Rush is in. This is where Dallas, our Philadelphia's defense gets all after him. We're going to see Vic Fangio dial up a lot of pressures. Expect the Eagles to get some takeaways and to continue rolling over Dallas to which next week should be starting Trey Lance at quarterback.

It would be pretty funny if Cooper Rush came in there and just lit it up and he's hitting CD and they give this damn barn burner game. They give Philly everything they want. Guys, you may think the Cowboys are relevant everything, Remember we're coming down the pipe now the Thanksgiving We're all gonna be watching them a couple thursdays from now. I would like some life, But I do think Steve is right. Can we get Trey Lance? If it doesn't work out, we all at least have some intrigue and attachment to Trey Lance. But where he was drafted and the journey. I hope Cooper Rush does for five hundred yards, but if not, Trey Lance next week would be cool.

That that would be an interesting one to say.

I don't have anywhere else to go on this one because I just don't think that the Dallas Cowboys have it. Talk about the egos, yeah, I guess, but I will say this, it'd be cool to see Saquon Barkley maybe jump sideways on him.

I'd look, there you go, there you go.

That's gonna be a tough one to top. Moving on Drake May and the path coming to Chicago to take on sort of the spiraling Bears. Also, Kyle take us to Soldier Field. I need a pretty good pulse to finger on the pulse there. Things just aren't seeming to go their way either.

Right now.

I'm tending to go positive on this. I'm really listen. If they're going back home where the Bears are very good, they're playing a scrappy and feisty Patriots team. But it's two and seven right there. I know it's been a rough couple of weeks. I'm not going to make a joke that if the Bears lose this game they don't have to worry about their stadium plans because they're going to burn Soldier Field to the ground. I'm not going to do that. You take care of the Patriots the Packers come next week, you get the train back on the tracks. This is actually a perfect opportunity for the Bears. I'm staying positive. Ok, Bar, what are you doing.

I'm staying hopeful in this situation because the Chicago Bears, they've got the toughest remaining schedule after this. They need this win to give lift their spirits up high, to get them move in the right direction. They've got the Packers twice, They've got the Vikings, They've got the lines, they've got a very tough schedule that they need to get ready for. Not to mention them in the back end, they've got the forty nine ers as well. They need this well for sure.

Okbar, you just talked about that schedule. This sounds to me like a game for the Bears.

I'm being facetious in this game, but Drake May, I'm telling you this guy is the real deal. They may not win, but the world's going to see how good of a player this guy is.

He is good, yeap.

Moving on the seven and two Bills heading the Indy to take on the Colts, show Flacco and company hope to rebound after a Sunday night loss to the Vikings.

Akbar, what sends out to you here?

Well, five wins in a row there for the Buffalo Bills. If they can get five wins in a row, this gives them all of the momentum, all of the strength and the belief that they need the following week going up against the Kansas City Chiefs.

You know they see it.

I know they're going to tell you one game at a time, but they're looking beyond and going, Yo, we got the Chiefs.

We need this win against the Colts.

Are there are there any wide receivers playing in this game? Though we know Amari Cooper is iffy. We've got all these receivers, you know, Keon Coleman is iffy, which is why I think James Cook and Josh Allen could be running all day against the Colts. Kyle, you know the Colts run defense isn't good. Look for heavy Josh Allen.

Run game, no doubt, and he's gonna have to do it himself. I actually find the Colts very interesting. The situation here. You are, you're kind of playing for your season. You're at home, You're four and five. If Flacco is poor again, is it then we go back with the box of chocolates, say Anthony Richard and say get back in there, kid, We love you now.

I don't know.

It's a really interesting deal. And yet, Steve, it's also the matchup is interesting. Put you on the spot, Steve, weish these teams rarely play like this. The last time the Buffalo Bills won in Indianapolis, who was the Bill's starting quarterback?

Kyle, I know you like to go deep. I just got to throw out a JP Losman for you.

It's a great guess you know who this starting quarterback was.

It's Doug Flutie.

He was the Bill starting quarterback in Indianapolis last time they won. Isn't that why?

Way back yeah a minute. Wow, I think we're all shocked.

An I know that's good good trivia. I used to live in Rochester, New York, and Doug Footy was the quarterback. Still all right, forty nine ers. They're heading to Tampa taken on the box. Ian told us here earlier. Christian McCaffrey is set to make his season debut, Steve, do you feel like he will make a big enough different friends if he comes back and they can finally get a win here, that.

Would be yes, because you have to scheme for him.

I'm just interested to see if Kyle Shanahan uses him early as a pass threat, to see if you can get Todd Bowles to back off from blitzing, or if he use him late to close out after softening that defense with Jordan Mason, the same way that Kareem Hunt.

Did last week when they played the Chiefs.

I still believe it when I see it. I still the McCaffrey thing. It's been so strange and so shadowy. It's like you know when someone says they have like a picture of Bigfoot, and you look like, I don't know, that's not Bigfoot, that's just some shadow behind the tree. I've heard Ian Rappaport say he's going to be out there, But just like Ian said, until he is actually on the field and not on the sideline, not a warm ups, and actually getting the ball, I won't believe it's been that bizarre of a ride. I hope he is, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Ogy, I'm with you with the hope because they need this in the best way. They need Christian McCaffrey to be out there running the offense. But then you start thinking, well, you can't load management him right now, because right now you have a San Francisco team that is sitting at five hundred. They got to throw them out their full go and with those two achilles and the ankle whatever you're calling the entry, that's.

A lot yeah, looking at it.

Despite though McCaffrey not being there, the forty nine Ers are top five in total and rushing offense this season, so not a lot of drop off. Last one here for our first round of mad minutes, six in two Steelers versus the seven and two Commanders like this, what could this could be the game of the week here, Kyle, this is going to be a very interesting test for both.

Teams could be the game of the week, and I have a new developing story of the year. My prediction, guys, on Monday morning, the number one story in the NFL will be the Russell Wilson Pittsburgh Steelers. Russell Wilson, who will go three to zero as the Steelers quarterback, who continue to play brilliantly. He has a perfect passer rating in the fourth quarter.

I didn't see this coming.

You didn't see this coming. The only person in the world who saw this coming as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I like Pittsburgh on the road and Russell Wilson mania to set in. It's a really cool deal.

I'm sorry, I'm just you know, it's a little early for me here on the West Coast. I just want to make sure I heard you correctly. Were you saying that they were going to win, that they're going to beat the Washington Commanders?

Yes?

Oh and the steeling to the No, it didn't even matter what I was getting ready to say. That will not happen.

Okay. Jade Daniels has been outstanding. Save off.

Right now, Hi Monday, Hi, how.

Was your weekend?

I will cut my mustache and my beard off and go and make it face before I left that.

We're recording this.

Let me, let me shave you TV, let me do it because look, I know we're out.

Of time, but look, I think the Steelers defense yek me too much.

I love Jade Daniels.

You're gonna have to run around, but this is something that could be a little bit overwhelming. It'll be the defense, not Russell Wilson's by the Steelers.

Oh man, I can't I can't wait for Monday to play this back.

Good Morning Football.
