Welcome do Good Morning Football, brought to you by our friends at Old Trapper Beef Jerky Live in Los Angeles and New York City.

It is Thursday, October twenty fourth.

Starting to get a little of the Halloween decorations out. I'm sure you Burris alongside Akbarbaja Biamila, our friend Menti taou.

Is at the table.

And then in New York City, Hey we have Peter Schrager. Witch Peter, you mentioned it. Nice way to start the morning. D hop now going to have to pack his bag quickly head to Kansas City. When we saw this news break, what was the first thing that came to mind for you?

I think he nailed it that this has been in the works in the ether, but it really came together last night. Look, the comp from what I'm told, is a fifth round pick, and the conditions are interesting. What you're going to get is as Super Bowl appearance and playing time, meaning that's what could qualify to a fourth for the Tennessee Titans. That's actually not even finalized as we go on air right now. They're still working that out. Yeah, Kansas City was looking for an inside target and a red zone guy, obviously because of the Rashi Rice injury, but also now because Juju Smith Schuster went down on Sunday against the Fancisco forty nine ers. Also, Kansas City was not looking to trade a Day one or Day two pick in this deal.

This is what they wanted to.

Make sure that they could at least protect that they do that they focus on winning here, but they also keep the window open for as long as that goes.

Candee Hobs still play well. He played forty four snaps on Sunday.

He was pulled in the game because of lower leg soreness.

He obviously had the knee injury.

Brian Callahan spoke about that Sunday after the loss to the Bills. But the expectation is that he's healthy and he's good to go, and he's gonna play.

I go back to.

Twenty twenty three, where I was covering free agency. We all were Ian was, Tom was, Mike was, and the Chiefs were hot on DeAndre Hopkins to add him for some firepower. Twenty twenty three, that's two years ago, and Tennessee just offered him the world and he went there.

Now, Look, he is loved in that market.

He's beloved in that city, and Miss Amy Strunk Adams, they love him there. But this was one opportunity for DeAndre Hopkins to go and finally get that Super Bowl ring, or at least pursue it. You better believe the Chiefs have been watching the Ravens week to week and how they're loading up on offense.

This is a way to not only put.

A band aid on all their injuries, but to throw some firepower into the mix for their stretch run.

How about this move, Peter, how about these Chiefs?

Great?

How's asogo? Peter? Dun dun du.

This is how you do dynasties, guys, this is how you maintain empires. You can't just sit there and do nothing. You gotta make moves. I think it's interesting Peter's kind of referenced this US as a show. Peter and I are coming into New York City here and we're going over the show, and the opening block of today's show was, Wow, the Ravens. How can the Chiefs stop these Ravens?

I'm seeing people on other channels.

If the Ravens stay healthy, no one will stop them.

And It's like, are you sure about that? Are you sure about that?

Three moves?

All right?

Three wide receivers the AFC. Here's why I see him, Davante. I don't think he's gonna make the playoffs. Amari might make a big play in a playoff game. DeAndre probably will make a huge play in the title game. You know it, I know it. This is a massive move. I'm actually a little bit sad. I was massively in love with this Chiefs team. I loved the way they were doing this ugly, sloppy, bad Dolphins, incredible defense, Mahomes having a career worst year, and the league's only undefeated team, the league's only undefeated team, the back to back Super Bowl champions. Just got a guy. And now you might say, oh, he's getting old. He isn't, no, no, no, listen. I don't know if he's gonna have one hundred and fifty yards in his first game. I don't if he's gonna have a hundred ffty yards in any game. DeAndre Hopkins is out there. So when it's third and nine and everybody jumps Kelsey, he gets ten. This is a massive deal. And if you're not sure where you are with Dan DeAndre Hopkins type it. In last year primetime, the will Levis Titans beat the Dolphins. It was the real Dolphins and DeAndre Hopkins was amazing. This is a massive move, not not meeting, not large massive. They're the undefeated team, not even playing well, and they.

Just got a guy.

We're gonna be talking about this move in January.

We very well be talking about in February, and we.

Have an exclusive for this is pretty cool.

The Chief's Kingdoms fired up.

We just cleared this video.

Here's live reaction to Kansas City to the DeAndre hot.

Kansas a Chief.

You may be throwing up right now. You hate the Chiefs. You may to be sick of it, too bad.

This is a big deal.

This is going to win and lose games for them and probably playoff games.

Amazing move.

Don Bom.

She's gonna remix the Imperial March with an acoustic guitar.

Look Out it's coming soon, folks.

The Poet's Department, wherever the hell it's called.

We got a new album.

I'm Austin.

It's awesome.

All you hit all of it, man, that was big. I think this is You're right, this is this is probably the biggest move since Taylor Swift started being a frequent attendance to the Kansas City Chiefs game. I mean, this is going to change everything for I love the way the Kansas City Chiefs think the personnel wise. They continue to show us that no matter what they do, when like if you get injured, no problem will solve it. Every move has been the right one, from the way they drafted, from the way that the acquisitions they bring in. You know, look, Isaiah Pacheco, hard runner, that's all right, we'll go get Kareem Hunt. We'll bring him into the fold, and not just bring him into the fold, but he's gonna come in and be productive.

They know how to use personnel.

Well.

So you look at DeAndre Hopkins and you go, DeAndre, he's thirty two years old. How are they gonna make this work. He doesn't have the same type of speed, But the boy is still cleaning his road. And we talk about this game like this.

This guy can play still.

I don't know what anybody Drimping around a thousand yards ain't easy to put up, you know, in the NFL, let alone to be thirty one, thirty two years old still balling. Yes, he has that little nagging injury. I'm sure they'll clear that up. DeVante all of a sudden got healed up real quick. I'm sure DeAndre is probably gonna be on the same stuff to heal up really quickly once he gets to the Super Bowl champ team Kansas City Chiefs.

And when I saw this, it's the rich just getting richer adding a player like DeAndre Hopkins. And Mantite actually said something that stands out to me that I think can apply to the Kansas City Chiefs is he hates the phrase next man up. And I feel like that is what they do in the building for Kansas City because it's not, oh, just next man up, We're going to replace you. They value their players, but they add pieces Peter to still continue to make them better even when they're down. As you look at this, how do you feel like adding de hop is going to impact Patrick Mahomes as we look forward?

It's great, It's huge.

I said this earlier, the inside stuff and the red zone target.

Was a huge, huge deal when Juju went down.

And I know everyone rolls their eyes and says that Juju well, because of all the other injuries to Rice and to Hollywood Brown, and to the players that have left over the last couple of years.

Juju was a big piece of this offense.

So now without Rice and without Juju, they had to find some big body that they can get involved.

And that's it.

Look, he's gonna be your deep threat. We know that Kelsey and Gray are going to be across the middle, and now you've got one of the great possession receivers in DeAndre Hopkins.

He's not gonna burn you.

He's a four to six at this stage in his career, maybe a four to seven, But gosh, is there anyone better When you throw the ball up in the air and you say, go get the ball? I think of Kyler Murray threw in that Hail Murray. But there's been so many other times.

And can he still play? I think he can.

I don't think they'd make this trade if they didn't think so. He's actually been alright with the Titans. This is the last two years. And I'll tell you the Chiefs.

They were in the hunt for him last year. I mean like in a big way. So now they do get him there.

I will mention that you know, you talk about Kansas City, like can you get guys back the expectation is Pacheco is coming back, and there is hope. It is a long shot as a hill Mary the Hollywood Brown can come back as well.

So you start getting guys back at the meantime.

Oh, DeAndre Hopkins is there and let's see if he can get it.

Going rather quickly.

You've been up in down the road with Hopkins a long time, you know, have along some unusual guy, and how is he going to show up in Kansas City. There's an emotional factor to this too. If you know about Hopkins, he may or may not like to practice. He may or may not be emotionally engaged all the time, depending on how well his team is doing. I think to go from the outhouse to the penthouse for him at this stage of his crew, just myrieing away in Tennessee.

We're going nowhere to go.

Now you're on the Chiefs and now I'm like, there's Kelsey and like we can win a super Bowl.

Now.

I think you need to get his best Mike question you though, and like farbia for us to suggest this, are we overreacting.

A little bit? If you're a Ravens fan watching this morning.

Oh wow, DeAndre Hopkins, because of the desperation of those positions.

Right, if they had those four other receivers and you add DeAndre Hopkins, maybe he's I think he immediately becomes number one or two once it gets going. And you know the connective tissue in all this. Kingsbury coached him for many years in Arizona. Of course, Mahomes played for Kingsbury. There's open lines of communication. So Brett Viach, I'll say this about the Chiefs. It's a place where there is everybody. Brett Viach has now brought back Kareem Hunt, has brought back Juju, has brought back Jody Fortson, and has brought.

Back all these other where's he come on, has brought back They have another guy that they brought back.

Someone at home up Juju obviously was who is there's someone else, there's a fourth guy that they've brought back. Yeah, there's always a door open for them with this team. And in this case, the door is open, of course for them to go back to a free agent that they wanted last year and they weren't able to sign and DeAndre Hopkins he comes in. I think the compensation is the right thing. It's not a day one or day two. Pick all right, let's take your shots. It's good football business. You know, kind of reminds me of watching Shark Tank. When you're watching Shark Tank and you see they take some of these businesses that may not be producing the same type of way, and then all of a sudden they interject all of their knowledge and their experience and their their systems into some of these businesses, and all of a sudden, you see these explosions. I can't tell you how many things I bought from from because of Shark Tank.

You know, they all of a sudden, they just exploded. I think that's that's what the chiefs do well. I think Andy Reid. I think the front office they find a way to look at personnel and going we can get this guy not only into our system, but we will increase his value. I think the value that DeAndre brings and then going into the system is his route running. His rout run I said it earlier, His route running is excellent. Yes, he doesn't have the speed. Maybe he's a four six. I think maybe he's still probably in a four or fives. I'm gonna say four or five something, right, but not as elite as.

A speed as he used to have.

I will say this, you don't need the speed when you can create separation with dope routes. I mean, all you have to do is give him that little study of and all of a sudden he's out of there and now he's creating separation. And that's where the smart ones are. I think in football, especially when you get to the NFL, you always hear about the difference between college speed and NFL speed. The difference is the awareness and being able to see the game faster. And that's what you get in a veteran in DeAndre Hopkins. He's going to see the game differently that allows him to move faster even when he's not running faster. It's gonna be lights out for Mahomes. I think Maham's gonna probably have one of his best games this next game or whenever he gets back.

My guy Lakwan, my guy Lakwan just hit me up. He's got the name.

It was McCole Hardman, who he goes with the Jets and then last year at the trade deadline said yeah, we got his body had the game winning touchdown in the Super Bowl.

So Hardman.

Juju Kareem Hunt Jody Fortson and now this is DeAndre Hopkins who they went after and couldn't land. But like the door's always opening, kanpasity to each.

Other, football, good football.

He has seven games into his NFL career and he is on his way to start him from the Buffalo Bills Rooking running back. Look at you, you're there, you got that big Bills logo behind you.

You got a smile on your face, and so do we to talk to you?

Let's just get into it.

I said, it's seven years into your career, you're you're a baby still, but you're crushing people.

What's it like? How do you feel right now?

You know, it's definitely surreal, but it's crazy at the same time. You know, coming in every day in the building, it is kind of realizing your NFL player. It has been on a long journey for me, you know, throughout high school, throughout colleges to get here. You know, different schools, you know, different path through doors to just make it here.

So every day I continue to be blessed.

I get you to thank God, but you just think the Bills are giving me the opportunity to achieve a dream that I've had for a long time.

And they're thanking you too, and so are the fans. You mentioned the long journey. I want to make sure people nationally know about this for those who don't. You overcame a lot, a lot of adversity in the way NFL, including you were in foster care. There was homelessness before getting recruited to play ball at Temple, where you tweeted this in twenty twenty.

This is a tweet that we have. We want to make sure that we show with people.

I will make it.

Promise you. I promise you that, and you got the draft hashtag.

Just a few years later, you hear your name called at the NFL draft.

Listen to this.

With the one hundred and twenty eighth pick in the twenty twenty four NFL draft, the Buffalo billis select Ray Davis running back in Kentucky.

Go Bill, And it happened, and you willed it to happen. What was it like that very moment? Take us back there you are, what's going on in this room?

What's going on in your head? In your heart?

Yeah? You know, I got my family there.

That was something that was always big to me, to be able to have my supporting cast. The people who've been there throughout the years, who've seen the journey, who've seen the ups and who've seen the down. So I was very happy for them to kind of be a part of it. But to get my name called and get that phone call again, it was it was crazy.

I blacked out in a way because you couldn't believe it. You couldn't believe.

I mean everybody, as a kid, you know, pray and hope to get that call. So for me, it was about just automatically getting that phone call over with getting the work and just getting ready to prove the world again that I can be who I say I am.

You know, Ray, you know reading your story and just you know, after your big game, you know, almost five yards to carry against the Jets, and I just I just wanted to keep saying your name, man, just putting it out there so people understood just what you've overcome in your life. I guess my question to you is how did you get to a place where you don't have like this victim mindset? Because there was so much that happened to you in your childhood that frankly no kids should have to endure. But yet you somehow you've endured like, how do you not have this victimization mindset? And how do you move forward? And how'd you get to where you are today?

Yeah, you know, I think for me, it was about at the end of the day.

You know, everybody goes through adversion, everybody face the challenges that you know, they feel like they can or cannot overcome. And I understood the position I was in that if I were to give up, who would be an advocate for kids, who would be a spokesman, who could be a mentor, who could be a role model? And I felt that that was at the age of twelve, and at the age of fourteen, fifteen.

So forth on, that I was going to have to be that role model.

I was willing to take the lead and to show everybody that there is a way, you know, there is a possible to achieve you that you want.

You know, it may not be the most easiest.

Ride, but the end of the day, it's going It might be a lot of bumps and bruises, but you know you'll make it there, You'll get there. So I just kind of kept putting my head down and understanding every adversary that came towards me. I got to face it. You know, there's no running away. You know, if I ran away, I wouldn't be here today. I wouldn't be able to have this voice, this platform, and just the ability to showcase a new world where no matter who tells you you can't make it, if you live by what you believe in, you know you will achieve any anything that you want to achieve and feel like anything's possible. And that's just been me throughout my years is every time somebody tell me I couldn't do something, I turned around and showed them that I could do it, and I could do it at a high level.

I love everything about that, ray Man.

Often our life experience is really contribute to the ethos of who we are as individuals. So how does your experiences that you've had feel you on and off the field.

Effuse me a lot. You know, you got to think about the people that who've been.

There in my life, who's helped me be person I am today from you know, being a part of the Big Brothers, Big stitues of America. You know, having my teachers who took me in and just my supporting cast.

I knew constantly that in order for me to be where I'm at.

They sacrifice so much, so if I were just to give up and not give it one hundred and ten percent every time I step on our field, I'm only doing them wrong. I'm only doing them a disservice. So understanding that so many people put me in a position to be why I am today, So why not go put it all on the field to give back to what they have done for me.

Rady's getting to know you this morning.

You're just so easy to roof for, particularly hearing your story and just all you've come to to be now in that Buffalo Bill's building. And we know Bill's fan base notoriously just one of the top tier in the league.

Just how have you felt like they've embraced you? And what's it like going around town?

Are you getting noticed when you go grocery shop and get coffee something like that?

Hey, well, I'll correct you right there.

We have the best fan base, the best.

We have the best fan base in the entire world.

Bill's mafia is crazy, I got I have said it before.

They love seeing special people.

We got special guys on this field, so you know, just to see them day in and day out, coming in there, and providing that spark and energy for us. It's definitely been been amazing. But no, luckily I have not. You know, Luckily, I can still go grocery shopping and do the things I want to be able to do. I still go to Chipotle on the daily. So until until that stops, I will keep going to Chipotle every single day, until someone knows.

Okay, a barbacoa guy give us the deeds.

Come on, you know, I'm chicken. Gotta get double right, you know, Corn, Yeah, I can't.

I can't. I can't put out the secret recipe to everybody. I can't do it.

Hey, I got Martha. He's a rookie. Contract. Don't pay extra for walk.

It's expensive.

You know.

They say that the best of us must help the rest of us. And you mentioned earlier your teacher, mister Clause Ben claused. You asked him if you could just stay with him a couple of nights, and that turned into three years. He was there for you.

Now you're paying Get forward, Ray.

Tell us about the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission and why it's important to you.

Yeah, you know, Big Brothers, Big Shits of America.

That's super important, you know, I met Patrick Gowley at the age of eight, and he has been a part of my life all the way up until now. You know, his boys or like my nephews, and just to see our journey together. He's really the main reason why I got into some of the things that I love. I love baseball, you know, I love the arcade games.

I love just.

Again proving people wrong. And he was a guy who always challenged me in middle school. If you can get a three point zero, I'll get you a video game or you know, I'll get you this.

So it was always something that was fun to be challenged.

But kind of being around Patrick, he taught me how to be a man at a young age in the sense of having those part having those hardship talks.

You know, he understood what I went through in life.

And even though he couldn't relate, but he still was a voice and an advocate for me to continue to just showcase the person I could be. So Big Brothers and Bigtures of America played a huge impact on my life and that's something I want to continue to give back and advocate for to tell a lot of people to get involved.

You never understand that you know one voice.

One action that you do towards you know, an individual could really make a change. And you know, like you said, just it's not just about one person. It's about bringing everybody with you. And if I can be able to bring everybody on this journey, that's all that matters.

I think we're all on board.

Ray.

We love everything you were doing on and off the field. Thank you so much, Gray Davis of the Buffalo Bills.

Come back anytime you want.

We would love to have you back at the breakfast table. Stay healthy and good luck.

Let's go right.

Forty nine Ers and Cowboys.

So that Marquee matchup, primetime game Sunday night, that's where we're going to start here, Peter, we saw excuse, we saw the forty nine ers. They've really had their fair share of injuries. Cowboys maybe not living up to the expectations that we thought. But when you look at what the forty nine ers are up against big picture, what does this game mean.

For their division?

Well, I look at these two logos and it's NFL history. It's Dwight Clark and the catch. It's Terrell Owens at the midfield in Dallas and George Tige knocking him down.

And it's all these.

Recent different playoff games that they have played where weird endings have led to forty nine ers victories. And I look at the urgency that both of these logos have right now as we head in towards Week eight. I mean, both teams might need these victories more than any other teams in the league, speaking of just vibes and of course in their respective divisions. How about the Dallas Cowboys this week, coming off of a bye Mike McCarthy after all of the heat, and then Jerry saying he's good, We've got our guy. Then Jerry comes out and goes in some some long convoluted explanation about why Derek Henry doesn't make sense in their offense, as if you couldn't fit Derreck Henry into this well built machine that is just unstoppable over the years.

And now they've got to go on the road.

I think the best thing for the Cowboys is that this game is not in Dallas.

They have been embarrassed in Dallas.

They lost by a ton against the Saints, they lost by a ton of against the Ravens until they came back, and then of course Detroit blew the doors off them, they get.

To buy, they get out of town. Dack's engaged.

You go to San Francisco and I look at the Niners. Two straight losses to the Cowboys and to the Chiefs, two teams that you're supposed to be in the same conversation as at home.

That's unacceptable.

Also, Dallas San Francisco doesn't have the lights and the glamour that it usually does because of these teams limping into this one. But gosh, the stakes have never been higher for a regular season game between these two. Maybe it goes back to their famous ninety four regular season matchup that they've played, when Aikman and Young were going at it and everybody was watching that one.

This one, to me is important because of.

The loser who loses this game, and if they lose, do they walk home after the game? In wrestling, they used to have that loser goes home match. That's what this feels like right now. I know it's not the end of the season for either, but I can't imagine waking up my day and talking about the Cowboys again as losers, or in the same breath, the Niners as losers two games in a row in their home building against Super Bowl contenders.

Yeah, Pee, I'm so glad you brought up the fact that the Cowboys are coming off of this buy. We talked that nauseum about Troy Aikman's comments regarding the route running by the Dallas Cowboy receivers. I saw a quote by Ceedee Lamb. You know where Ceedee Lamb's house. Ceedee Lamb spent his bye week. He spent his bye week running routes with Dak Prescott. He spent his bye week kind of cultivate that chemistry that we've been so accustomed to seeing for the past couple of years. And even though that chemistry will get there, I remember last year, the last time the Dallas Cowboys took a visit to San Francisco. It wasn't pretty for the Dallas Cowboys last year. In twenty twenty three, I know that the San Francisco forty nine ers are dealing with a lot of injuries. And it's so weird the contrast between the La Rams, who we just saw, who's getting back all of their pieces, and the San Francisco forty niners, who seems to be losing peace after piece every week they go. So this is definitely a must win for both teams. If you look at I remember we're looking at the NFC West standings. Yesterday, the Rams are in last place. In twenty four hours, the Rams are now in third. By the end of this week, the Rams could possibly be in second, fighting for first. So Sean McVay said, Matt Stafford had a look in his eye. Matt Stafford also has first place in NFC West look in his eyes. He knows that it's attainable with everybody's right there. And the scary part about the La Rams is, out of all of those teams on that list, the La Rams as of last night, looked like the team that Kyle, that Peter, the off bar that everybody on this program has been hyping up since the preseason, being the favorite in the NFC West. They looked scary last night. It was beautiful. It was art me as a fan, I loved watching it. So going into this game between the Niners and the Cowboys, it's a must win for both. It's just going to be you know who executed and what do we get to see on Sunday.

Well, I will say this the forty nine ers, they have a little bit of that desperation because you're just talking about that Manti with the injuries. They have a bye week coming after this game against the Dallas Cowboys, so I think it's like thugging it out, just as what it's going to have to come to. They're gonna have to thug it out get this win. They're at the bottom right now. It's really congested in the NFC West, but they give themselves an opportunity beating up against a Dallas Cowboys that right now. Offensively they struggle, especially with giveaways. They've been giving the ball away. And you look at that defense for the forty nine ers. This team, they force those takeaways. They go out there and they make those plays. It's a very opportunistic defense. They hustle hard. And that's why I'm excited when I watch this because that NFCS, that congestion, they're gonna have to be some sort of separation and this is a great opportunity for the forty nine ers to do that.

Good mooll, Good morning football.

Wednesday.

He got traded yesterday, he.

Was on the practice field DeAndre Hopkins joining his new teammates as the Kansas City Chiefs getting ready to take on the Raiders coach rede is, do you how.

Going to play on Sunday? Wondering minds want to know.

Well, it could be this weekend. Yeah, we'll just we'll see how he picks. I've him on the practice right, why wait right?

If he can without putting them in a bad position, Coach.

Ree setting us up perfectly for a round of mad Man going to put a minute on the clock previewing as many games as we can. We are going to start there with Chiefs and Raiders. Akbar, you're going to start remember a Minute on the clock as your former team Raiders.

Here, what are you looking for in this one?

Well?

Remember last year, you know the Raiders got one on the Chiefs. But I think in this game, I believe that the Kansas City Chiefs they're going to put out DeAndre Hopkins out there, get him going. This is a Raiders team that has struggled, but don't trip. This defense is pretty tough.

For the Raiders. Yeah, the defense is pretty tough. Led by Robert Splaine. He's playing solid. Alex Madison is playing solid. But there's not a lot of highlights to this Las Vegas Raiders team outside of Crosby and brock Powers. I know they're having a lot of issues at the quarterback position. Davonte Adams has traded, so a lot of respect to them for responding and going out there and competing every week. But it's going to be a tough test to come this week.

There's always a weird Raiders Chiefs game every season for Kansas City. Last year was on Christmas Day on national television with Taylor Swift in the crowd. This one it's in Vegas. Everyone's crowning the chief because they got Hopkins. Do they take the foot off the pedal? I think that's Andy Reid's message all week, like we know this team always shows up and plays against us hard. Do not let them get a lead early. I gotta think the Chiefs take care of business. It's just not enough offensive firepower in Vegas right now.

And as you think the Chief's welcoming d hop this will be the Raiders first geame without DeVante Adams. Moving on, we have an AFC North matchup between the Ravens and the Browns. Antike, can the Ravens make this six wins.

In a row?

I think it's going to be six wins wins in a row. Especially against a Cleveland brown team that just lost on Mark Cooper. They traded him to the Bills and they have Jamis Wiston now, So James, I'm a big fan of Jamis. Jamis says, do this, bro, let's do this, get that pre game speech, let's get it down then, and let's go. I know Nick Chubb is back to miss he was hype about that, So I'm really excited to see what this Browns team looks like going into this week. It's a whole new front. It's a whole new quarterback, whole new system. Hopefully it's a whole new field. But with the Baltimore Ravens coming into the town, it's gonna be difficult.

Yeah. Look, it's a short week for the Ravens.

They played Monday night, and although they did put up a lot of points, they gave up a ton of points in yards to Baker Mayfield, and Baker Mayfield went up and down the field. I think Jamis gives the Browns a little bit of a lift here. I think this game is going to be a lot closer than everyone anticipates. And I do think Nick Chubb in his second game is gonna get his legs going. I don't see this as a runaway win for the Ravens, but I do think they'll get the best of the Browns, and I agree.

I think you're right.

I think this games could be pretty close. The Browns defense, they old the Ravens pretty well, So look out for that.

Good way to get the comment in there. Yes, all right?

Next up Jalen Hurts and the Eagles heading the Cincinnati taking on Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

Peter, what is catching your eye here?

Yeah? The Eagles defense is alive.

Vic Fangio came in and a lot of people were rolling their eyes the first few weeks saying nothing's changed.

Same thing.

Last week they were absolutely dominant on Daniel Jones, and the week before that they were in the backfield the.

Entire game when they won that game. So they won two in a row.

Now Eagles defense is finally live and I love their their backfield. Two rookies, Quinion Mitchell and Cooper de Jeene. The two of them are playing excellent.

I think the Eagles get the best of the Bengals on Sunday. Ooh okay, all right, well, I see it maybe going the other way. I think you know this is a must win for both teams. I think both of them need this. But I do like the combination of Jamar Chase and Burrow on this one. The Eagles may be a little too reliant on the big splash plays, but yeah, I'm gonna probably say Bengals on this one.

Yeah, I like the Bengals. If I'm Cincinnati, I'm putting on the first half of last night's game and watching word justin Jefferson. It was catching all of his passes that ten to fifteen yard range from the line of scrimmage. That's the weakness of a quarters defense. Vic Fangio loves quarters defense. Hit Jamar Chase and t Higgins in that window, you'll be fine.

And this is Jalen Hurt's first time playing against Joe Burrow in the Bengals.

That's a really fun matchup of those two.

The Cardinals, now they're facing the Dolphins, will be the return of two of more than likely Akbar. Obviously, we're going to watch the quarterback in this one. But anything else catching.

Your eye, well, I mean, like the tool one is the one I think everybody's paying attention. I think it's going to be a high flying high scoring game. I mean, I think we're going to see a lot of points going out there. I think especially too, I think we're going to see the offense too. For the Miami Dolphins, wake up. We haven't seen a lot of Tyreek making those big splash plays, those fask routes that he used to run. But now you get two, I think it comes live. They've had a circle of quarterbacks too.

Us back.

I said yesterday what I was going to do, I got no expectations. I'm just going to enjoy toa I will say, I want to see the Marvin Harrison junior connection with Kyler Murray to flourish. It's been a little slow late. I want to see that kick in.

I don't know if I can enjoy it. I'll be completely honest.

I'm gonna be kind of white knuckling it with Tua. But I think that's part of what the story is. That it's he's gotten medically cleared. He wants to play, let the man pursue his dreams to be an NFL quarterback. And if you're a Dolphins fans, you saw why they paid him the money. Look how bad the team looked without him on offense.

I think the.

Dolphins come out hot, and I think it's like September and October and November of every other year with Tua and Tyrake, they'll put up points.

Yeah yeah, let's go move ahead and talk about the NFC West. Yeah, my goodness, Josh Allen, the Bill is taking on the Seahawks, Mantai.

Where do you want to take us in this matchup?

I don't know how long the Seattle Seahawks can keep up with this shotgun heavy offensive approach to the game. It's a It's a game that really restricts you. I know, DK Metcalf is questionable, So who did they turn to watch out for? Bobo? I like him as a receiver to come in there and fill in those shoes. But my favorite, one of my favorite players in NFL right now is Keon Coleman. So I like the way he plays and I'm hoping for a successful Sunday for him on this week.

I gave Keon Coleman my Rookie of the Week award on Wednesday, Man Tai one hundred and twenty five yards. He had more receiving yards than any other receiver in all of football last week, and yet I'm looking at Seattle coming off that win in Atlanta where they won thirty four to fourteen, feel themselves a little bit national television. Brady on the call, I think Gino Smith puts up a big game as well.

Yeah, two the best passers probably in the game right now that I mean, they're playing lights out. I know that the Seattle Seahawks they want to stay in front. I mean in the NFC West, it is pretty loaded.

You've got the.

Rams coming up right behind them. They want to stay up in front of the forty nine ers.

Josh Allen the taking very good care of the ball so far this season, going to see if he can keep that streak going. Now we look to Sunday night, the Cowboys entering a bye week forty nine or entering from a bye week forty nine Ers kind of limping in here. This is a marquee matchup of the weekend here, Peter.

Both teams come in hurting, egos, pride, injuries everywhere all over the field for both squads. Get that forty nine Ers team and how things went down last week against the Chiefs a national television you gotta think.

Deebo is hopefully going to.

Be back on the field, and Ricky Piersoll is a name that I would watch. Didn't do much against the Chiefs last week. Obviously we know his story coming back from being shot in the summer, and.

It was on the field last week.

I think he's gonna play a big role in this big game in Santa Clair.

Yeah, first off, Pierso like he's the dude rocks man.

I love that.

Story, that whole story about him making this comeback in such a short time. But the forty nine ers, they have owned the Dallas Cowboys for a very long time and I think that they're going to continue to dominate, especially in the run game.

Yeah, you know we're talking about Rocky Piersoll, but Jawan Jennings, him and him and Brock perty have been the highlight to me, besides George Kittle of that San Francisco for the Niners offense. And I can't go against Fred Warner, but man, there's a lot of injuries on that side of the ball.

It'd be a good weekend. I think we did pretty good on timing too.

So it's great job everybody that was great sharing on it.

Right A. We didn't get buzzed a little bit.

Good morning football,
