Good Morning Football.
Hey, everybody, welcome INSI Good Morning Football. We are presented by old Trapper Fief Jerky's.
Right, we're the best. Not you where that we got it?
Where?
Oh? I missed in the show? I reap back. I'm I'm sorry. I'm not doing my job. I was I was talking to twenty eight on the parents. Sorry, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Let's do a show.
Yeah, focus until the clock hit zero. You get to do stuff like that, all right?
Uh?
Oh they audio I lost I'm sorry.
I'm mins do the whole show like that, like the Bears on the whole show.
He lost one.
Also, okay, let's.
Start the show all right. Sorry, Oh I lost it again.
Sorry, I believe I don't.
Want to come to the meeting on two. You go get Yeah, you're gonna get ripped up.
Uh huh. I'm going to tweet an apology. It's okay.
As long as you tweet an apology, it's fun.
Are you gonna tweet it or put it? The notes app in screenshot? Two very different types of apology.
That's good too, Yeah, very good. I like My Times New Roman.
That's Kyleed, Brent, Peter Scheger, Akbar baj biam Milla. I'm Jamie Erdel My goodness, great book. Thank you so much. Yeah, yeah, yes, thank you. I appreciate that my house was had a pawk on it essentially, So we're good. Everyone's back at home.
Thank you. Football yesterday.
If you woud look at the schedule, guys, you're kind of like, eh, and then at the end of.
The day you were like, that was amazing.
That was an amazing slate of games, Kyle, Sunday Night football first, and then we'll work.
Our way back.
Yeah, I mean, can't be amazing slate unless the dessert at the end is all kinds of fun.
For that, Let's go to.
The great State of California or Rockbar and Jamieardy are, but we're gonna go considerably further north for the Cowboys in the forty nine, great logos, great teams.
I don't know, twenty to ten Rock Party on National tight Ends Day. He shouldn't be scoring, should gi him a tight end?
They were rolling in the third look like this is gonna be a blowoutcohol.
Al Right, here's the thing, the Cowboys.
You know they're really all they got CD like that's the only thing to worry about.
So what in the hell is this city?
Lambs opened by forty yards by forty yards. He had a huge statistical day, all right, so they get back in it.
What did I just say?
The only thing you have to worry about is Sady Lamb?
What is he doing? He's open again?
Thirteen catches one six, two tds and we got a game.
But down to fourth and ten.
Gotta have it, Dac looking no nothing.
I wanted to call bad right over the last sideline too.
No flag, no flag, much honored all tight.
Ends, but no flag. Jerry Rocktart tight ends. We do Jerry Josephpecks tight end? Remember Jay no check? I love him.
They can use him these days. There's sub five hundred. Now is he rolls up this program or whatever he's got there?
Thirty to twenty four? The nine ers? How about him, Shanny?
He could really use the cold one. Probably win he got at least one of those things.
Go ahead, Kyle, and you always go into a season expect to win them all. So not exactly where you want to be. But going into this game, we knew this was a big win. You know, we didn't want to be three and five going into the bye week, having your backs against the.
Wall like that.
Getting that win was huge. Being four and four not at all the record that we wanted when we set out, But when you look at our division and everything, feel in a real good spot, especially finishing in here with a win. Hopefully we can take some time off, rest a little bit, get a couple of guys back, hopefully, and come back and string some wins together here in the second half.
Yeah, sure, four and four looks better than three and five, especially if you sit in the NFC West, because this is the state of the nation in this division. The Cardinals are up top. Don't you worry, Cardinals, You're going to get your due in this first hour of GMFB. But there they are. Three teams of five hundred rams sit at three and four, Kyle. A couple of years back we dubbed the NFC South. I believe if you can haul it, you can have it. Are we giving this treatment for this division just yet?
It's it's close not Yeah, we may give it to the NFC stot again Jae for that matter, but no, listen, big wins right now and exciting things going on.
Yes, Peter, okay, let's go to Sunday Night football and just despect the fact that, as Kyle pointed out, Ceedee Lamb didn't want to cover him almost coughed up a lead again, as Kyle Shanahan, okay, this morning.
Yeah, look, this could have been one of those horrible Monday mornings for the forty nine Ers fans, and said, they find a way to win. And I look at that cut, the way they came out of the half, and it was like, all right, three straight touchdowns, let's get it going. It was ten six and a half time. It was a weird game. It was like Mike Zimmers having the game of his life. And then the Niners offense came alive. And I like the fact that they had to rely on some other guys. You know, Kittle made his plays, but Isaac Gorendo shut up as Golbrendo was running the ball all over the place, and then party looked dialed in. They scored three straight touchdowns, They're up twenty seven to ten.
And yes, they did what they do, and they let another.
Team creep back in in the fourth quarter, and they almost coughed it up, but the defense made the stop at the end. Party's been good this season. I'd said that all over, party's been good. And here's what I would say for Niners fans.
You know, four and four get the key win.
Here.
You go into your by and the expectation is that McCaffrey is coming back. So if you're four and four in a division that has no lead dog, no team that's running away with this thing, and you're getting the offensive player of the year back who has now rested for nine weeks, I have to think you feel pretty good about your chances over the second half of the season. All things considered, losing players to injury, terrible fourth quarter collapses, and bad divisional losses.
You're still four and four.
It's like a new season because no one had the chance to really catapul above you. So Niners solid win. Cowboys that's a different story.
That is a different story.
Boy.
They got beat up, beat up, especially in the second half. It was a very slow start to the game and you're thinking, Okay, what's going to happen in that second half. I just absolutely love how this forty nine Ers just came out. They made the adjustment. I don't know what happened, but they made them big time adjustments and they come out and they score on multiple back to back drives. I mean, it was crazy, and then they're shutting them out. But I liked what I saw up front, the domination and the trenches on both offensive line a defensive line. Nick Bosa was wearing the heck out of that offensive line. He was just bringing pressure line any which side he was going to bring that pressure and create havoc. But you know, to me, it said a lot about the Dallas Cowboys and like they just didn't have that same type of fight in them, and I didn't see it. I didn't see it with the play calling. Yes, they made some plays and they rallied back towards the back end of that, but it was San Francisco definitely dominating. One last point though, because I know you got it, are tired of hearing about it. Tight Ends Day, the dude that came up with tight Ends Day, Like really, he's just gonna go off like that, Like I've got a beef with that, by the way, just so you know, because and maybe I should go into this later in the week, but the fact that he and the rest of the tight ends, they get a day. What about lineman? What about defensive lineman on top of that? But we'll talk about that. But I did like the fact that the dude who coined the term goes out shows up, you know, one hundred and twenty yards a touchdown, big game for George Kittle on tight End's Day.
We heard that a lot this weekend.
I honestly think it infiltrates the play calling at this point, like they're actually looking to feed the tight ends.
It's not even a joke. Tight Ends went crazy. There's a memo I started finding Peter.
I got my big, my big day out of my guy and the Cardinals McBride, like.
I told you, I dropped them, Kyle, and we're in week eighty. But I actually think it.
Was because of National tight Ends Day and Kiddle went huge.
The Cowboys didn't.
This is this is by far the most flawed Cowboys team of the dak era. Like they I'm not joking. They have Ceede Lamb and that's the only thing you're ever worried about. And you get him thirteen catches and you still lose that. They're they're very, very flawed and unlike the Niners, I don't see any help come in. It's just they don't have Oh look the offensive player of the.
Years were turning to the lineup.
No, the Niners right now, they're just doing this treading water, just traad.
It was up to here.
It might have even covered the nose for a bit, but they got the nose above and they're treading water.
Is a big win.
This is if they get to the playoffs and win the division. It's like, remember we beat Dallas to get four and four. No one really cared. It was an ugly, dumb game on Sunday night, but we did it. By then Tampa, who has all kinds of problems, and again they're not getting back a nice piece or role player, then adding devaugde Adams, then getting back the offensive bleeping player of the year. Just be fine now and survive. Then you can play great football. This is an instantly forgettable Niners win that could be critically important because they have a nine game season.
Everybody does in the West. Everybody's four and four. That's a I starting games right now.
So you have a nine game NFL season, can you go six and three? I think you probably can. When you add McCaffrey, and then you can win the division.
It's going to be.
Forgettable, but it was really important. I have nothing to say about the Cowboys. I think their roster building completely failed them this year. They don't have a good roster, let alone a good team. And one of you said the Coboys won't.
Have a good roster. There's been times for their teams not great.
They don't have a good roster and it's very strange, Peter Royce says. And we herald the schedule makers in the NFL and how network protect games like this one had no concept ever of being flexed out NBC Sunday Nay Football treat mental whole thing. The fact that this is a forgettable forty nine Ers win and it comes at the hand of the Dallas Cowboys, says says a state of Dallas, it says, the state of San Francisco, and the fact that this is where we're at in the NFC West and frankly in the NFC East as well. Ian Rappaport, Before you get to the topic at hand, just quickly follow up on the fact that a few weeks back, Kyle put you on the spot to ask about Christian McCaffrey and you said, rater just did to confirm that perhaps the optimism is that CMC would be back by after the forty nine ers by week. Is it still tracking that way, Yeah, that is my understanding.
In fact, what teams do.
They go mostly away for the bye weeks, but the forty nine ers are planning a bonus practice, which I think a lot of teams do. My understanding is Christian McCaffrey is expected to participate in that bonus practice, which would be the first time we see him if reporters are allowed out in the field in a while.
And then he has been ramping up.
He has been running, as we said, on flat ground, which is a great place to run, much better than in the world pool. And I would not be surprised if he is out there November tenth. That has been the target, and he has had no setbacks. But that is a very good thing for Christian McCaffrey. All right, let's get to some of the other injuries that we have been monitoring over the last twenty four hours. Jordan Love, the Packers starting quarterback. Another injury, this one much more minors deal with a groin injury could seem kind of mess with it during the game, seemed to be bothering him for a while before he took himself out. Not considered to be a major injury really just a groin pull, but it does make its status for this week's game in doubt.
So they have one game and then they have.
The buy if they want to get him a little extra rest. It could be Malik Willis this week for the Packers, but we will be monitoring that. The New England Patriots had a big time win somehow someway against the New York Jets, and they did it without Drake May, their young promising rookie quarterback on the field for the end. He suffered a concussions in the NFL's concussion protocol, which is why Jacoby Brissett finished the game. Every player responds to concussions differently. Every is different, but certainly his status in doubt for next week, per said, of course would start if he cannot go. And then a concerning one for the Houston Texans, Stefan Diggs, their star receiver, left the game with a non contact knee injury.
You're seeing it.
Right there, that hop after a player runs a route goes down.
I mean, that's that is not what you want to see.
Demiko Ryan saying after the game simply it's a knee injury.
He's going to get tests.
No word yet on how the test came out, obviously something detextans are looking at very very close.
Yeah, it was not a great play and it was that quick move and then the immedia grabbed to the right knee. It's never the visual that you want, but for the forty nine ers, perhaps an optimistic visual for CMC to be back at practice. Talk to you a little bit, Ian, thank you a lot to look forward to me yesterday ahead of the Commander's Bears game rookie quarterback battle.
And it delivered. It just took a minute, Kyle.
It just we had to wait for it to really deliver the finish that maybe half the fans won it.
It really really was spectacular. Okay, I don't care who your team is. If you're a Bears fan, that was an amazing thing to watch. It was us two returns. He got back on the field for the Dolphins. They lost, and they lost to a very cool team that we're going to talk about shortly, but it was really good to see two back out there. All kinds of storylines. We would hit all your favorite teams, all your least favorite teams.
Who won? Who lost? At GMFB on a Monday, you cannot be.
The day after tight ends, the day after National tight Ends Day football.
Let's get into it. Number one overall pick, number two overall pick. In that case in history, the number two overall pick usually wins. Let's find out how this goes. The Bears take the lead, they get the two point conversion, they're up three.
They can't believe us. So now the Commanders do some.
Really nifty things getting in position, and then we got one play they rushed for Jayden's elusive.
He takes his time, takes his time. This was a.
Twelve second play. He unleashes it about sixty five yards, gonna land right around the goal line.
It's tipped. They win. Unbelievable.
Noah Brown, the former count, catches the most buttery deflection you could ever see.
The Commanders win on a walk off. Hail Mary. Just an incredible, incredible.
Piece of sports entertainment, no matter who you're there for. The guy who deflected his Tyreek Steamsey's offensive back for the Bears. He got his hand up, but he bounced it up right into the hands of the receiver Noah Brown, and that man playing through the pain wins. The Commanders are six and two. The Bears were five and two, but no they're.
Four and three.
Eighteen fifteen is your final in an ugly classic. As you would expect, everybody is talking about that last play.
I was ju justa for sure.
I'm excited because that's kind of like a once in a lifetime experience, like not too many people get to experience stuff like that. That was my first high, so obviously I was just the whole stadium, team, sideline, everybody.
We're blessed to have five leading this team.
You know.
The things he can do is special, even that last play, keeping his composure, fighting like hell to get.
The ball off and through a hell of a ball. I wouldn't want to play with any other quarterback. I'm glad to have him.
That was no Brown, not for nothing. It takes a lot of personal strength as well to keep your feet on the ground in a moment like that and not just want to enter the freakiss that's happening in front of you for the ball, because so often we see the hail mary tip and the ball just kind of drop somewhere else and no one's standing there. So shout out to Noah Brown, Peter if you want to go right to that play at the end of the game, or is there anything you want to unpack that happened before that.
I want to take literally three seconds for Commanders fans to just take a moment yep, look around and enjoy this. It has been so long since Washington has been the hot team, since Washington's had the ball bounce the right way, since Washington has been the team that networks are flexing into. Washington deserves everything because of all what these fans have been through the last two decades. And I want you all at home War Commanders fans to take a minute to remember exactly where you were on October twenty eighth, the monday after that Hell Marry game, where it felt so good to be in first place in the division, and also knowing that you've got the quarterback of the future. I also want to go back into this game and see how we got here the Bears.
Man, I don't know.
Let's go to the Doug Kramer handoff Doug Kramer Junior. This is after a drive where Caleb was making incredible plays and DeAndre Swift was carving up the defense.
You're gonna gave the vault of a.
Backup offensive tackle. Then I want to go to this one here, where is the defense? They allows the Kais to get.
Out of bounds to play before the hell has to play before the.
Hell Mary and then this this is the Kyle Jandon Daniels had twelve seconds.
Look at the pass rush they're off.
Here we go a four man pass rush again, and you don't have anyone to actually rush. Jaden is dipping and diving. I am not here to knock the Bears defense, but ibra Flus is a defensive coordinator. Ibra Flus is a defensive head coach. The late game management of this was inexplicable, and I didn't even get to Tyreek Stevenson, who was taunting the crowd while the ball was in play. One of the epic losses for a team in Chicago Bears, and it negates an incredible drive by Caleb Williams and an incredible play down the stretch to get his team a lead. Congratulations, Commanders fans, this is what we wanted to see when we got this game flexed in and Jaden Daniels, who only practiced one day last week and miraculously got ready to go for this one, deserves all the kudos, as well as dan Quinn and his staff. But what could have been if the Bears just didn't shoot themselves in the foot thirty times leading up to that moment.
Your instincts are great about the Commanders. My brother in law, Jim, is a die hard Commander's Redskins fan going back. He texted me this morning, I can finally stop watching replays of Daryl Green's punt return against the Bears in nineteen eighty eight. We've really got something. Let me say this about Jane Daniels. There are good players, and then there are great players. And you think I'm done, I'm not. Then there's a very special group of special players. That's a special player and great players. I can list a bunch of great players in the league right now who I don't think are special.
Jane Natils is special.
They get the bounce, they make the play, The intangible happens. You watch them, you can't take your eyes off. It was unbelievable. I would just say this about the Bears part of it. They had this really cool comeback in the fourth quarter and Caleb got to be the hero, and then there's this freak active god type play and you lose by it and you die with your boots on, and damn, that was a good game and we let it get away, but we had it. And you feel a little bit dignified about the end of the and then you see Tyreek Stevenson and it just really just defiles everything that you stood for in that game. If you didn't see this play, then you haven't been on the internet. That's the hail Mary. That's Tyreek Stevens an active defensive back. The receivers don't just get the ball, they're thirty to forty yards downfield. As he is literally taunting the crowd. My question would be, I have many Tyreek. What were you saying to the crowd? Were you saying, yeah, I'm the guy who got cooked by McLaurin all day, Yeah, I'm the guy who got a personal file for poking alignment in the eye. What were you saying? You didn't have a day, you didn't do anything. And it's just like Matt Eberflush's thing, his buzzword that he has in the locker room, all accountability accountability.
I've never seen that in any level of sport.
I've never seen that in a high school football game where the receivers are running down the field and he has his back turn talking trash as the game is still going on. It is so bad, it is so bush league, it is so embarrassing.
It's just terrible.
Tweeted his apology last night because I'm sure some staffer got to him or something like you should have and.
He said the right things, and God bless me.
He's a young player that they really like out of Miami's in a second year as a talented player.
I do not agree with the masters to say suspend them, suspend them. I think you need them. He's a good player.
You're not gonna hurt your by suspending it. And believe me, he could go on to become ed. Reed meets Paula Myle and meets Ronni lat and they will never forget this.
Ever. This is a life sentence for him.
It's a terrible, embarrassing play at the end of a game that should have been remembered for the Hail Mary exclusively, not to mention he runs over at the end, jumps up, bats the boat directly in the air like he's freaking karts Kari.
Setting it for the perfect spike.
You couldn't have done it better in Olympic volleyball Boom and buttery into my hands. So this is not torches out for some dB on the Bears day. That is an all time Internet video that transcends the NFL videos, that goes back to the Great Blady and all crazy like world type stuff. That is an all time Internet video. It should be just the Hail Mary itself, but the Bears played a role in it too. I hate to see it that you'll never recover from that.
Sorry, Yeah, it's one that caught my eye too. In fact, run that tape back again because it's something interesting here. This is something that has rehearsed a lot of times in practice. But you see Stevenson down there at the bottom, but then look at it.
His energy going.
He's in that old shoot mode and now he's sprinting over So by the time the ball is over there, you can see him kind of over there now situating. His momentum takes him up and over and then that kind of takes them all. But if he's in position early enough, then that way maybe perhaps he has less momentum and the ball goes down versus going up behind him. But he has to control his momentum because he's in o shoot. He was never under control in that situation. You want to be able to box out and be under control. He was frantic from the beginning because he was talking smacks. So you're right, it's embarrassing for Stevenson. I don't know if the apology necessarily gets him out of that, but I will say that that play by Jayden Daniels was absolutely outstanding.
I think it needs to be renamed.
I don't know if they can beat me to the lower third here, but this isn't the Hell Mary. This took place in our national capital. This should be called Hell to the Chief, fitting for the commander in chief, for this team. This dude played balls out. I mean this right here was a Hell Mary or a Hell to the Chief out of the Book of Genesis. This was outstanding. This just proves that, like literally miraculous things happened when you're literally losing the rib to get a ball out to your wide receiver like that. I mean, I just absolutely lovely. I was going nuts. I called our EP. I called I said Yo, man like, this is crazy. Is a awkboard man go to bed? I was like, no, this is crazy to just see it.
It was really fun. That's a biblical reference Adam's Rib.
We love it all.
Kyle and I were tweeting a.
Little bit on the Old X yesterday and I saw a bunch of great ones. It was the hell marra Land because it's in Maryland, but it wasn't really in Maryland. It's like DMV, I don't know, it's not fine. I liked mine that I got from a viewer from a tweet, and I said, the comedy bomb, which is very fitting based on election season and where.
We're at in the world.
Comedy commanders, commanders, Communist, Oh.
The communism, Kyle, like the seventies here, yeah, Kyle, I was like, I was trying, so we're.
Noah catches the ball and the ball had this this beautiful arc on it into his hands, so I called that Noah's rc arc.
But we're work shopping it. It's okay. You got like the commanders themselves put out.
Hail Noah like hal Noah, Hale and Noah like Hale command There's all times of.
Sho do should we have our social can't maybe just do kind of like a poll because I think hell to the I mean hell to the chief, like you know, the presidential.
I think that should went. I'm lobbying right now.
Chief.
Why don't see the chief?
Hell? Noah? I like it.
Okay, guys, this was it. This was the moment the Jets were gonna ride that quarterback to the playoffs because they are on a four game losing streak and they have a Son Riddick back and it's all gonna be awesome, right, Not really, Patriots twenty five, Jets twenty two. That is your final, Peter, the Jets do we put them into the night night category now as they fall to two and six.
Yeah, the Jets are horrible. This is as bad as it could have been. Two and six. I mean, it's a joke. And Greg Zerline is still on the roster as of right now. After missing an extra point Zerline I was saying Zerlines should lose his job three weeks ago, and he has missed several kicks since then and he's still on the roster. So there are Supreme Court justices, there are certain people on sports TV, and there's gregs Arelin. People who just will never lose a job no matter what.
And that's just what it is. That's how it goes, that's how it works.
It sounds more likely to get fired than Greg zerline.
Yeah, no, Judge, Alito is going to be kicked out before gregsz aerlines.
All right, that's just how it goes.
I will say this, and we could do the you know, I think Mike Greenberg's probably wearing an Aaron Rodgers jersey right as we speak, doing the whole oh my life sucks, the whole thing. I'm not gonna do that for the judge means I'm not doing that, or I.
Will say this about the Patriots though.
Bill Belichick, for you, went on eight different media outlets last week and kind of almost like innocently it was like, I don't know he called him soft. That was I don't think those guys are soft, which in New England is raising an issue that then gave Girod Mayo the open door to get torn apart by every single Patriots fan, media writer everything.
Once Belichick speaks in New England, you have to see people are gonna.
Listen for Mayo and Bersette to find a way to rally and win that game. I do think it is worth saying their season's going nowhere.
Either.
What a win for that coaching.
Staff in that quarterback when Drake may goes wrong. So I give credit to those guys. And if Belichick's got comments, you're gonna have to deal with it all season long. It was pretty cool to see them rally around their coach. So Jets Zerline, congratulations. Aaron Rodgers is no innocent one here either. He didn't play well, he's hurt. Bad season for the Jets, and I apologize for all of you who followed me down this path of number one seed in the AFC.
That was all wrong in the August season. It was a bizarre game.
Bizarre game, especially at the end of the Aaron Rodgers and his press conference says that you know, you have to get comfortable in the darkness. Like I'm sorry, Aaron, not everybody is gone on your trip to darkness. Secondly, like, how do you get out of darkness? Because you guys are in darkness right now? And you know A shout out though too, by the way, to Christian Gonzales, defensive back for the New England Patriots.
I mean he was putting in work.
He put some work in on Devonte Adams, whoever he lined up on. I mean, you look at that, he had three targets towards his way only one reception, so you just shout out. I just saw that during the game. I just wanted to give him some love on that one. But for me, the Jets they lost this game, and surprisingly, this is the first time this twenty twelve that we've seen a team shut a team down to two hundred and forty seven yards of total offensive production and still lose the game. Like that's bad, Like that's darkness. This is the darkness that Aaron Rodgers is talking about. But I don't think we should be having this conversation for the for the New York Jets because they ain't playing ball.
I personally have nothing to say to the Jets, and I think us as a group really have nothing to say to the Jets. There is a group though, that I really wish could sit the Jets.
Down talk to them.
I really do a local group in fact, because here's the Jets. You want to take a look at the twenty twenty four New York Jets.
There they are okay, got.
A good heart, maybe a pull forum, but it's just so heavily flawed, and I just wish that the Jets could sit down and everybody could talk for him. And you know, Tony says, sit down, and you sit down, and then Adriana is gonna talk first. Okay, to the Jets, we love you very much. My only dream is that we have a happy season together. The last few months, things have got very bad with us because of.
You losing games all the time, specific a dream.
When we first started the season, we talked about winning all the time, and now because of the losing, you can no longer function as a team. Three weeks ago, when you kill that coach and we haven't won since, that was the final straw.
And then Tony jumps in and Tony goes, Tony goes, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, you kill the coach. I had to fire you, you little jerk.
Tony.
You're getting upset because I know what it's like to lose a coach.
Sylvia. Do you have anything to add, Sylvia?
When I came in and watched you week four, there you were with nine points and a home loss to Denver.
You were drenched with rainwater, disgusting. I told you it was.
The weather, I said my piece, Jennies Calm, I happen to know that you were high on DeVante Adams coming in and saving the season. You were talking NonStop for two weeks, nothing but gibberish, and you lost to Russell Wilson.
By three touchdowns.
Tony says Pittsburgh Steelers, Russell Wilson.
Jesus, Chris Paulie.
When you want to read what you've written down, I don't write nothing down, So I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. You're weak, you're out of control, and you become an embarrassment to yourself and everybody else. We love your New York Jets, we love you. We can't do anything for you. You have to do it yourself. Okay, we're pulling for you, but until you want to start being better. Eventually, Peter's gonna get up and punch somebody, and there's gonna be a fight on the table, and your mother's gonna be there, gonna say terrible things to her. It's a pathetic, pathetic state. You're sitting on Cosette the dog and killing her.
It's killing the dog. It's kill the dog.
I know what it's like to lose a pet We can't help you. Nobody talking about you today can help you. Only you can help you. And until you do, I said my piece, Chrissy, it's.
One of the great scenes of all time.
Chris Maltasanti intervention, Kyle, well done, and I think it's very fitting. Of course, as we know, Eric Mangini came in in season five and it was the Mangenie.
Yeah, I was at Jets Bills a couple of weeks ago. Eadie Falca was sitting right there. It's still karm was there. She was representing, and now she's trying to represent a two and sixteen that is in worse shape than Multi Time Company.
This morning, I think the game ended like twelve hours when Kyle's out here just dropping dime like my favorite was calm and you've been talking nothing but gibberish, like Tony, Oh my god, Kyle, so great, butt.
Up to the funeral, very high, Oh man, exactly, Peter, what.
Do you got?
How about Dolphins, Cardinals?
We gotta come back out of this thing, and there's gonna be some optimism out west. But yeah, a lot of New Yorkers go down to Florida and it's not much better.
Down in Miami.
Let's take a look at the highlights here.
Sale though too they do this. Arizona two is back.
He's back. It's like when, uh, when Richie April showed up.
Oh how about Beansy.
You can go over, but not go well that pizza shop.
Lets no better for that one. But Janna said something to say that he did. Here we go Cardinals down eight.
Kyle, you gotta be ready to do some flips against I know you've got a Kyler.
Murray take out of there.
I do Kyler Murray guy, and that is Marvin Harrison Junior. All the fantasy experts bugging out why the part of the lineup, Well, they move the ball all the way back downfield and they get in line for a field goal.
They go on the road.
Another home loss for the Miami Dolphins. One of the head scratchers here. They are also in the two win column with the Jets to have played well to a move the ball, but Kyler got the best of them. Dolphins loves another home game and it might be time to put the Dolphins down for the season at two and five.
Here, great to have too a back, But Jamie.
It's the Cardinals who get the victory and they're.
Four and four. How about that?
And how about that we had the NFC West situation earlier and the fact that the three teams are at five hundred and then the Rams sit they battle, though they hang with whoever they play.
Kyle, when you look at.
Cardinals Dolphins, people wanted to focus on Tua right, They're one of the conversation had to be driven away. And then Kyler said not today, and then Kyle Brant now has things to say about it.
I sure do.
First thing I want to say is when everyone on the show right now to look at the calendar.
Calendar says October twenty eighth.
And occasionally we'll do things on the show where you say, play this back three months from now, and I don't know, and sometimes they don't work, but sometimes they do. So let's go back, oh several weeks into the past to something that was set to be playing on this day, October twenty eighth, having to do with the Arizona Cardinals quarterback.
Let's go Ruse. I'm gonna put my money where my mouth is.
It has been brought to my attention that there is a new edition of the Call of Duty franchise coming out this fall.
It is Black Ops six, and.
It comes out October twenty fifth, So there's already jokes out there about enjoy Kyler now because it's October twenty fifth.
That comes out that weekend.
A couple of days later, the Arizona Cardinals play at the Miami Dolphins, a very difficult place to play.
I'm going to say right now that Kyler Murray is going to be brilliant in that game. He's going to run circuit.
You're going to.
Peter the ball game. You're not helping at the Dolphins. And I want you to play.
This back on Good Morning Football Monday, October twenty eighth, after the Cardinals at Dolphins game, and you will see that the jokes are over the study clause and he's short, ha ha.
It's all over.
I think he'll be brilliant in the Call of Duty Bowl a couple of days after Black Ops. Okay, here we are, guys, and I have some reviews. Apparently Black Op six is a banger.
Yeah.
Forbes says it's all thriller, no filler.
E Sports Illustrated says it returns to the serious roots. Apparently it is a great game. But not as great as the game Kyler Murray just had in Miami, Florida, in which he was brilliant, in which he won the Call of Duty Bowl just days after his alleged weakness came out for streaming, download or physical media purchase. Kyler Murray was incredible in this game. The Dolphins players themselves afterwards were talking about how good Kyler was. But all the Internet tells me is that he is some numskull who's addicted to video games and needs a study clause.
Ha ha ha ha ha.
That was true maybe a while ago. I might have made some of those jokes myself, but I'm telling you this, Kyler is different.
Release his weakness.
Release Black op six, great reviews, great reviews.
Game pro loves it. A couple of days later, he.
Goes not at home where you can play play play in and go to the stadium. He's got to go all the way across the country to Florida to face a renewed Dolphins team with their quarterback back. He was the best quarterback in the game. He was the best player in the game. And I'm not talking about the video game, talking about the bleeping football game.
The jokes are over.
And guess what, here's no joke either Kyler Murray. Kyler Murray is sitting there in first place in the NFC wins, some division wins, my friends.
The Black Ops Bowl was a runaway.
No more video game jokes, dummies, come up with something new.
Go ahead, It's over. Kyler wins, Black Ops wins. We all win.
I am so proud of Kyler Murray and I love my Cardinals.
Kybody else why Miles Car.
Big Market Teams, Kyle Boys, Giants, Jets, Cardinals, my Cardinals and their friends.
You deserve every bit of that because at the beginning, when no one was feeling you, you started that train, started that car pool.
I jumped in.
I asked if I could get in. I was getting nauseated at first. You told me you jumped off in two and four bar you jumped off, buddy. I don't buy you on the car.
I don't blu you were you were. I'm sorry, man, everybody was all okay two and four.
I don't buy me okay, so out, But I will say this. I will say this about about what you're saying.
I have no idea why people are tripping on Kyler Murray playing video game.
So many dudes played video games. It's so great.
And I'm gonna tell you what, It helps you out with ocular discipline. And that's exactly what he put up there and played with ocular discipline. He was just dissecting those that defense like seventy two on the day, what three hundred and seven yards two touchdowns. Yeah, that's ocular discipline right there.
And they also have one of the best offensive lines in football. This isn't as sexy as Kyler Murray or black Ops or what's the commercial with Jerry Rice and Dan Marino and Randy Moss that that's the meme of all of us going and play call of duty right now in thirties and forties. I would say it's the offensive line has been outstanding.
They did not give up a music.
All right, all get it.
They haven't given up a sack in three weeks and it's the first time they've done this in seventy five. We got to talk about Yeah, no, frush me off, Peter.
I think you did it because you're talking Cardinals on line.
That's in the NFL league office.
The red phone came in carl Football.
This is one of our favorite segments because there's so much football to watch on Sundays. We all have things that we want to get to, okay, and then now is the time to get the rewind button on a certain play. Who's going first had us reaching for the rewind button.
Peter go, I'll take it.
Let's go to the Saints Chargers game, which was buried on the television behind that great Commander's Bears game, and one of the great plays of the week was from Ladd McConkie and I don't go catch and then watched Ladd the second round pick out of Georgia to fight and fight and fight, and finally McConkie would have two touchdowns in a win over the Saints. Herbert just throws it up to Ladd mccakkee. Remember this team lost Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Ladd McConkie, a rookie has stepped up and has become the number one.
I saw this play and I was jumping out of my seat.
Lad McConkie two scores and the Chargers, after an inexplicable loss to the Cardinals, gonna win over the Saints.
Now listen, they did get that was fantastic. Here it was a great catch and run. I know I've never played a snap of football, so I get this, but like fairly certain, if you're a quarterback, you should be able to run three downs at a time. Okay, Anthony Richardson, you good man? Because he ran once, he ran twice, and then on the third down of this series late in the third quarter, taps his helmet. Asked to come out. People thought he was hurt. After the game, he goes, I was tired. I ain't gonna lie. That was a lot of running right there.
Period.
Shane Siken said he needed a breather. Joe Flacco came in and handed it off to Johnathan Taylor.
You couldn't even do that?
What is happening?
That was very strange to me. I had to rewind that and be like, wow, it must have been a lot of running. Just wanted to see it again.
Come on, make it in shape, all right, here's my rewind that now. Aj Terrell like, look at this.
I love football because I love just a good solid right there. That's exactly how you're supposed to play the game. Now, rewind this now, everybody just take a listen to this hit That right there is what my uncle will call.
It bombonic cole hit. Not is it bombona cole hit.
I don't even know how you spelled bombonaicle, But that right there was big time aj Terrell right after this play had an I in t so pretty good.
Nice.
How about one for the offense.
Look at Keon Coleman at the top of the screen.
Keon Coleman's coming to his own.
He had a big statistical day last week watching block wide receiver at the top.
And then I gonna do a.
Little point old heads, no the old Ed McCaffrey video where he leveled somebody and pointed down to them as they were on the ground.
This is physical the guys. The Bills had a ton of yesterday destroyed Seattle.
I know they lost the national television badly to Baltimore. No one's thought of Buffalo since they're six and two in playing great football. Keon coming into his own, amazing, amazing block.
I wonder if he pointed him and said Jason Kidd, because that guy's just constantly rifling off and he probably said.
Aha, which at the worst sounds you ever want to hear.
Ah ha
