Good Morning Football.

Welcome to Good Morning Football, brought to you by our friends at Old Trapper Beef Jerky. Coming to you live from Los Angeles and New York City. It's a Friday, so we are vibing. It's like Thanksgiving. Everyone at the table here, I'm Sherry Burris alongside Akbar Baja. Biamila Mantitea is here.

We have a special guest with Kid Track today.

We've known each other.

For a long time, all right, we can't forget our guys in New York, Peter Schrager and Kyle Brant, Guys, Happy Friday to you. That game last night, Oh I've ever been happier to live in California than watching snow at someone else's health. Hope you guys aren't getting bad weather this weekend in New York City.

Oh look, there's ran on the ground, there's leaves on the ground. Everything is fall foliage here in New York and.

Winter is coming.

But I will tell you this, Kyle, it was a beautiful sight on our television screens last night.

Snow game.

Heter the horse is preparing for battle but victory comes from the Browns. Let's go to the lad Black, Come on, Black.

I checked this out.

There's not a bigger stage up until now that we had the opportunity to show what we are about. Now mixt to we keep our priorities straight, because it only matters about us, not the lights, not the cameras, not the action.

It's about the action.

It's about our individual action and going out there and playing our best football.

Tonight in front of everybody. That's the powerful testimony. All right, let's go get the family on three. You what two?

Three?

All those theories that Jamis practice those ahead of times, Hell no, those are.

Off the cuff had lived all right.

The prince of the night was Jamis Swinston, who gets to win the Steelers win streak over twenty four to nineteen Cleveland.

A lot going on there right in front and.

Center that our guy Steve Weisch with a man of the Knight down on the field.

Go ahead, Steven, all.

Right, Jamis, first off, just a rally. You guys came back. Let the league get away from you. You go down there and Nick Chubb finishes it off for the game winner.

Man blessed is the one who endures. Man. We kept fighting, We never gave up.

And what perfect it ain't no unbelieving coincidences. How perfect is the story that it can get in the end zone against this team and you got him down.

There are three big connections with Jerry Judy.

What about the way he played a couple of them there on fourth down? Man, it's funny.

My boys from Florida in this weather showed them and show it out man.

So I'm so grateful that we were able to pull it off.

And you had never played the Steelers and never played in these conditions. How about AFC North football, Jamis Man, I love it.

I love it, man, I hope my baby was.

I'm making some snow angels so grateful to compete against a tough opponent. Man, We're gonna celebrate this one for sure.

The Brown's now two and two with Jamis Winston as the starter.

Man, was that fun?

Shout out to Steve Weisch and that entire crew dealing with those conditions.

Also, Peter, for you, the biggest takeaway I do want to give, is it Peter or Kyle? Who gets credit one of you guys this week? I thought said this.

Might be sort of a trap game and to watch out for the Browns against the Steelers.

Was that whoa?

I was like, Hello, yeah, hi, short week in the division on the road. I'm sure Cam and Manty Knockbarker talk about this. Those Thursday night football games get weird, guys, and when the weather gets involved, it can get really weird.

This game was one of the strangest football games I've ever watched.

Yeah, you're right.

Decisions from the offensive coordinators Ken Dorsey and Arthur Smith to just keep on bombing passes in a lizard, going nine routes into the snow, I mean one of them by the other.

It is kind of alternating of like, let's just go for it all.

Meanwhile, how could you not be romantic about football?

This was beef.

This is why we do the darn thing, and it's so aesthetically pleasing on the eyes. You're sitting on your couch at home, if you're not in the stadium, and if you're not a fan of the Browns or Steelers, you're like, oh, this is why I love football. Not because of my fantasy team, not because of my eighteen parlay, not because of the funny social media gag or TikTok trend. This just two teams, two franchises that are rooted in history. That the coolest part about this, And we'll get there when it's time. Hard Knox is doing in season with the AFC North. NFL films had all their cameras, all their microphones, the wide lens, the whole stadium shot the audio. We're gonna get to relive this again. And I think it's cool that they did the AFC North because, yeah, I called it. I said the Browns. I think the Browns are gonna be the Steelers.

And it wasn't.

Because they were, you know, matched up better, or because I was of some Jamis evangelists that I believe Jamis has the chance to do that. It's because that division is absolutely nuts. And I think the Bengals are gonna knock off one of these teams coming down the stretch.

I think the Browns might win another one.

I think the Ravens when they play the Steelers again, they might have an answer. I know that the Steelers beat the Ravens and we crown the Steelers. The AFC North is special, and these two teams do not like each other. And these two teams have two players that may respect each other, but look at each other in a different light than maybe the media might. Miles Garrett won Defensive Player of the Year a year ago, and I know it didn't go over well in the Watte household. Maybe TJ, maybe JJ, maybe Derek, and maybe a lot of Steelers fans thought TJ.

Watt was robbed of that.

Kaylee Hartong interviewed Miles Garrett, who was dominant in the first half for the last night's game afterwards, and Miles Garrett doesn't take the bait. He's going strong. He's just giving you a stock answers. And then he made a message that I think the rest of the NFL needed to hear. Here was Miles Garrett from a three win Browns team talking about who wears the belt when it comes to the defensive Player of the year.

You were asked all week about the dynamic between you and TJ.

Watt.

Did you two speak tonight and if so, what was said?

I mean, he's spoke at the coin toss, but that's about it. No, Like I said, I got a lot of respect for him, A lot of respect for No. All the guys over there and know ed Rush in the league. But I'm number one and no that's from end to one edge one to defendive Player of the year. I'm the guy, so that runs through me. There's no other no other person me in definite as I am, or skiing or playing against like I am. So just goes to show. Now you can throw it out the window. I'm gonna find a way.

I see that.

I see pride.

I see a man who has heard a lot in the media and a man who's been on a two and eight team going into a game that everyone said they.

Had no shot.

I tossed to our buddy Cam Jordan here, who is one of the best defensive linemen of his generation.

When you see Miles Garrett.

Fired up talking that way, what's a reaction back there in LA.

I mean, you're supposed to talk the way you talk. You know won, you get to win, So spoils go to victor two. You're already you know the last year is dpo y and you're having a hell of year and you have what like a three set game last night. He's supposed to be talking in third person this morning. You deserved it, you know, it just is what it is. And you know he played you know, he's clearly one of the best pass rushes in the league, and he plays a run. Now myself makes in a message, but it is what it is.

You know, we think.

About Miles Garrett and he what he's been to the league since he's.

Entered the league.

He's special.

So if you want him to start talking, he gave you enough. You know, if you want him to show up, he gave you enough. What hasn't he given? What hasn't he given? Since last night's performance, I woke.

Up knowing I was like, he's one of the ones.

It just is what it is.

When he touches the field.

You have to be able to know where he's at at every.

Game, I hear you.

And it was an incredible not just the performance, but to go afterwards and say I'm the man, I'm the baddest man on playing reminded me almost a little bit of Sherman say the best corner in the game, Like you don't see it very much. You just don't see a game very much like that. I don't mean the stay, I just mean there's so many takeaways. I just I just want to rifle through some takeaway. I think I think the AFC North got way more.

Interesting last night. It was a very good night for Baltimore. I think TJ.

Watt definitively lost the defensive Player of the Year.

I don't think he'll win that now.

I know how voters think in a national game like that.

I think that's over.

I think Kevin Stefanski told everybody to shut the hell up questions about their culture. Stefanski's on the hot seat. He's got a two and eight team playing their asses off. It was not a great night for Mike Tomlin. He has now two and nine and Thursday night games. He has never won a divisional road game on Thursday is Oho to eight. I also don't understand his quarterback situation. Now that's a little bit weird. The decision to have fields out there in that long pass when Russ was playing well. I think tom It also has to answer questions and or do something about George Pickens at the end of the game.

We're gonna get into it.

It was a ridiculous, ridiculous display by Pickens on the hil Mary and Jamis. Jamis put his Internet legend status to bed. This is an incredible thing that the Internet loves. Jamis and it's incredible because of the journey. Listen, ten years ago, Jamis was a pariah and the internet everywhere.

I don't need to get into the details.

They're in Savory, they're on Dark and then they range to the ridiculous and it's crab legs.

And it's all that. Even as much as five years ago.

Jamis was a punchline purely for football and throwing nothing but interceptions and endlessly eating his fingers.

He was a joke.

If you wanted to make a joke on the Internet, you would put James on there. Now they love Jamis and it's really a Mike Tyson asque journey and he's become a Manny Ramirez asque character in the NFL or every single thing he says as gold. It was not always like that, I assure you. And it's mostly because his teammates always love him, and his teammates always stick up for him, and Cam you are a teammate. And Fitzpatrick's on Amazon last night saying he's an amazing team he made. It's an amazing media story, the Jamis spectrum that he has gone through, and it is an incredible win for him.

Whenever he hangs it up.

Guys.

I don't know when it's going to be. I hope it's thirty years from now.

We will play that Thursday night win against the Steelers in the snow because he was really good at the end of the game.

Yeah, I agree, I feel that. I mean, you saw the energy coming out of Jameis Winston. But you know, you know, going back to that conversation that we were having about Miles Garrett and to me, I was really looking forward to the Miles Garrett versus TJ. Watt, you know, and that comparison and how those two would play. And I thought Miles Garrett ended up being the game changer in this. He was responsible one sack, was responsible for converting that into a field goal for the For the Browns, they can take another sack that he has all this in the first half.

By the way, he.

Has another sack, then that turns into an opportunity where he's shutting down third down, stopping drives. But it was giving the Browns an opportunity, and what Jameis Winston did with that opportunity, to me, I thought was the difference maker. But there was one particular play that I absolutely love you know how like when a guy comes out to the field and he's you're hearing the hype speech, you're feeling the energy. It was this one play by Jameis Winson. I want you guys to take a look at this, because this, to me said everything. Jameis Winston's drops back, he makes the completion. Here, look at this nice and all of a sudden, tillman comes up short and look at what Jameis Winston does. He's over here doing like the piano like that. That was one of those ones that stood out. You can talk about the running touchdown, I can talk about the sacks, but what quarterback is out there trying to create a turnover after his wide receiver fumbled the ball. That was the mentality that the Cleveland Browns set. This dude came out to play. They were getting that victor. When I saw that, I said, O, yeah, they're gonna win this game for sure.

Man.

I'm so happy for Jamison. I know we all are here at JIMFB. I'm so grateful that we all got to witness that. I think, you know, Jameis embodies everything of the identity of the twenty twenty four Browns.

When you said blessed is the one who endorres.

You think about Jamis and his career, we know what he went through, you know, Kyle KB you talked about it, Peter. We all know that he's been through a lot, you know, through his career. And you think about this Browns team and the injuries and the close losses, the big losses, and they come out last night it's snowing, and I think about watching this game and one word comes to mind, just unbothered. Like it's snowing, it's freezing. I'm unbothered. Nick Chubb is out there. I mean, we were making a big deal about Devin Singletary when he came out with the no sleeves, no gloves. Look, Nick Chubb is doing that out there in twenty something degree weather, like David a Jok who is catching balls out there with no gloves on. Like this Browns team came into that game saying, listen, we are unbothered by whatever you say, whatever the pros may say about what's going to happen in this game, we are unbothered.

This is the.

UFC North, as Op Barle likes to call it, And that looked like a UFC battle last night. I want to talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers offense, especially in the red zone.

Okay, got it.

Oh, let me tell you something. There's a stat that I saw.

Both quarterbacks have been inside the ten yard line eleven times. Fields has eight touchdowns one field goal. Russell Wilson has four touchdowns five field goals. Thank you to rich Homi Kwan. He gave me a little stat that says the Steelers have a forty percent red zone touchdown percentage with Russell Wilson as the starter. They had a fifty percent touchdown percentage with Justin Fields as the starter. Now, the question is, I'm not saying make a switch at quarterback.

What I am saying it's.

Justin Fields gives you six more than number three does.

That's all I'm saying.

Everybody knows that I've been on the Justin Fielders train for some time now. I've been on it since before he suited up for the Steelers. Justin Fields gives you a lot of points down there in the red zone. And that's the thing for the past two three weeks that that Steelers team has been really.

Struggling with turning those six points.

And instead of having six points, they walked away with three a lot of times, So that's just something to consider from my point of view.

Well, they put fields in and he ran for the first down and he threw that incomplete on a big third and four and he threw the long one, so like, it's not like he's not going and his opportunities.

And I think this is going to.

Be quite a conundrum moving forward, this quarterback situation for us to be yanked in and out of the game in Baltimore two against Baltimore. Also, it's now becoming all right, is Russell Wilson our quarterback or is it that guy in the matter the moments that matter most?

And then Tomlin, Kyle you mentioned it in the.

Thing, and it's going to be dissected by the Pittsburgh media because there's this viewpoint from Pittsburgh fans that the national media us Rich Eyes and others, we love Tomlin. Tomlin's a great sound bite, Tomlin wins, wins, wins, but the Steelers fans are like, there's these head scratching moments where we're like, guys, this is what we see on a week to week basis. I'm not going to critique because I understand what Tomlin was doing. But when you get the penalty and you accept the penalty, so it's now third and seven, and then on fourth down they complete the long one to judy in hindsight, if you had just declined the penalty, it would have been fourth and two and they would have had to kick a field goal from forty something yards in the snow. But Tomlin said, no, no, no, no, give us the five more yards. That stuff that makes it fair for criticism and fair for second guessing. Now, of course, if they stopped the Browns and the Browns missed a long field goal, we don't talk.

About it in the morning.

But the Brown's got a first down because he put him back on the field and third down. These are the things that drive Steelers fans nuts, and we don't discuss that when we look at the record and say, he never misses the playoff, all.

Right, and what's he gonna say about Pickens? I can't wait for that.

We got to get an I know, we got a lot of show to do. The Pickens thing at the end of the game is crazy. We have to talk about it and we will.

Yeah, absolutely, there's much more to get to.

We do want to bring in our NFL Network insider Mike Garfolo. Now, as we look ahead to what else is on the slate leading up to wee twelve, particularly a big NFC matchup forty nine Ers and Packers. Good morning to you, Mike. Give us some injury updates as we look ahead to this very big game between the forty nine Ers and Packers.

What's the latest, Sherry, Let's start with Brock Party, who had a weird day of practice on Thursday, was out there, left early, Kyle Shanahan saying that he went to get some rest. Now, we have expressed optimism throughout the week that Brock Party was going to be able to go, but yeah, Thursday was kind of weird, so we're looking to see what happens today.

He usually speaks to the media on Thursday. They pushed it back two Friday, so we'll hear from Party today and we'll see how much he's able to do. But at the very least he is in question. So has Nick Posa. Bosa had that hip injury and then got reinjured this past weekend, got hurt with his oblique on the other side, so he's battling two injuries. There did not practice the last two days. Party, by the way, was limited the last couple of days would have mentioned that, but Bosa did not practice the last couple of days, so looking like he could miss some time. Look, this Niners team has one games on the road while missing players, So no excuses, and certainly not from the Packers, who might be without jay r Alexander Elsewhere in the NFC. Mike Evans, the wide receiver for the Buccaneers, has missed the last.

Couple of games with a hamstring injury.

Healthy, now full participant, using that bye week to get healthy. He's got work to do to keep that thousand yards streak alive, and the Bucks have work to do to get back into the playoff picture.

It is a favorable schedule.

It can happen.

Both things can happen, and they can happen with Mike Evans on the field. Jammel Dean coming back for Tampa as well.

All right, a lot to keep track of, Mike.

We appreciate it.

Looking though aheads that Packers forty nine Ers game surprisingly in Green Bay, so I won't get a snow game there, But we appreciate you, Mike.

Thank you.

We are gonna get more into the top games of this weekend.

Gonna do a.

Round of Mad Minute. Gonna be to make shureld we share the seconds.

Kyle, Yeah, this is gonna be about two point five second seats.

Just gonna be really fun.

I'm excited for this one.

Good morning football.

We got a bunch of guys out in LA. We got Sherry Burrs out in LA. We got Kyle and me here in New York City, and there's an amazing slate of NFL games that awaits us. But maybe the most fascinating division isn't the AFC North that we saw last night, or even the NFC West that's wide open. It's the NFC South, which is suddenly far more competitive than it was just a few weeks ago.

Here's what we're gonna do.

I'm gonna present a statement, and you guys are gonna tell me whether you're in or you're out.

Now.

The Falcons were rolling absolutely lost to Cam Jordan's Saints and last week got absolutely blown out by the Broncos. My statement is this, with that two game lead in a four and one record in the division, the Falcons are still the overwhelming favorite to.

Win the NFC SO South.

I'm gonna start here with my colleague Kyle, and then there might be some someone at that table who has an opinion about the Mighty Falcons.

I really would think there are a lot of opinions in the entire NFC South there. I think we're gonna find out a lot about Tampa over the next couple of weeks. The Mike Evans thing is massive. He's been gone and they've really floundered. If they come back and make a run. I don't have like the equity with this Falcons team to say like I would for maybe the Niners, like they'll fight through this, or like I would even with the Rams. I don't know this coach in this quarterback. With this team, we have no respect, We have no like skins on the wall with them. So I can't say, hold on, we've been down this road before. Peter Cousins and Raheem always get I can't say that like I could with McVeigh or Stafford. So I'm gonna say say they're the favorite.

I guess I'm in.

But it's by a hair, By a hair, what do you think, Cam.

Come on, it's the fail can'ts, It's the it's can't Atlanta you know, this is not like the AFC North where it's like, oh, I justlike you know, you and you and you and you know, or the NFC where like you don't you're like, oh, well, who's your rival? It's Green Bay or whatever. No, bro, Like when you come down to the NFC South, we despise Atlanta. Uh, you know, for whatever reason that is the city. The cities don't get along over the teams. The teams don't get along. And you know, in the NFC South you can be like, oh, you know Tampa and you guys have to have a chippy Nah. Nah, I'm cool with Tampa. I'm cool with the Panthers. But them, you're gonna say they're the favorite.

Stop it.

You don't even believe that.

You know, you're gonna you're gonna sit there and be like, no, they're gonna rise up a moniker whish they've held and have never lived up to. Let's be real about this. This isn't something that we don't I'm not even gonna tolerate. Yeah, they're in the lead right now. Good for them. I was embarrassed when you lost them the first time. You know, I'm not just gonna put this out there like great, Kirk Cousins awesome, Kyle Pitt's awesome, you know, b John Robinson amazing, whoever else they have, Yeah, you can Drake London light skin. I don't know, but whatever whatever that is, Like, I'm just I just can't get behind this idea that they're the favorite.

No, no, no, it's whatever that is.

The NFC South is going to be open, and if Saints take care of business, then we take care of business. I'm never going to count the Saints out six games left. We'll talk about it at the end of the season, but we're not going to say Atlanta like it stop.

You know, I'll say this obviously I have ties to to to New Orleans and you know me playing there with Cam. But based on the question, based on the past two weeks, I would say, there's the way that they've lost these games, right, there's no way that you can put them as the favorite right now in the NFC South. I think you're looking at where the Saints are going, and this is this is no bias of myself, trust me.

You look at where they're going.

They're they're a two and zero team under Darren Rizzy, Like they're a different team right now, like the way that they're competing, the way that they're flying around, and Cam can go into more detail about this, but the way that I see them playing, They're playing the type of football that I've been accustomed to them playing since I played there. And then also with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Mike Evans coming back, you have kaid Aen who has had a spectacular twenty twenty fourth season. They have two really good running backs over there. They've always had a solid defense down there in Tampa Bay. I'm looking at the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they're ascending. After the two weeks, it's hard to put Atlanta at the top of the at the top of the NFC South based on how they performed, especially last week against the Broncos and that kind of performance they put on.

Well, I will say that it is a little shaky for the Atlanta Falcons right now sitting at the top, you know, of the NFC South. But I still do believe, especially when I go back and I examine that first half. It's easy to look at the last two losses and go, oh, my goodness, that's what we do we just kind of over react, we panic. But the Atlanta Falcons, they have a lot of critical pieces, whether it's the light skin piece and Drake London, whether it's of course b John Robinson, whether it's Darnel Mooney, who's clearly making things happen, you know, in that position at the wide receiver position. But I do believe that the biggest threat though to the Atlanta Falcons, even though they have that two game lead over, is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I am afraid of a healthy team, especially with Mike Evans getting back into it. We saw a dramatic drop once Evans was out of there, but once he's back in, they could make that push. So with the bye week being probably coming at the most critical time for the Atlanta Falcons week twelve, they get to sit back, reassess, and then kind of get rejuvenated again. Especially I know you and I were talking off camera about the new age of the bye week. Now y'all getting way more days than we did back in my day. But you guys are clearly having the opportunity to refresh. I'm looking for a reboot for the Atlanta Falcons.

He's here working on his bye week. What do you mean give him a little credit?

You know.

I think I'm in though, just because of what we have seen so far from the.

Falcons up and to this point.

But I don't want to upset my new friend Cam feel.

So I was like, it's I love to hear some extra time.

I don't know, Gina how much we have here, but I mean, it's going to be fun when these teams do meet again, and I give coach Rizzy major props what he's been able to do with you guys, Cam and turn things around at least in these first two.

So I'm always good good rivalry.

Just say what you mean, say say say, I'll say it for you. Don't twenty eleven.

I don't think the New Orleans thinks are going to be able to find their way at the top or even right behind the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South.

That's it, is that what Sherry saying or you're saying.

She's trying to say.

You say, twenty eleven, I think we're eighteen and ten versus versus the Atlanta Falcons.

Okay with that, you know, like just almost a two to one ratio.

Continue as my rule is in our home.

You can't get mad at facts. So if that's the record, then.

Then I'll give you that hope we do see him again. That means it's a playoff push and guess what, we're.

Going to win them too.

It's amazing, Cam, Cam.

I think Young way Ku just missed another field goal as we're sitting here, so I don't know.

All right, let's get in here.

Sorry Falcons fans.

I don't know why I were an.

Anti falcon shows morts. I just feel like it was fun to jump in.

Speaking of anti falcons, how about a former Saints quarterback was on our TV screens Thursday night?

Jamis Winston was unbelievable.

Here's a SoundBite from Jameis Winston's interview with the Great Kaylee Hartongue of Amazon.

What will it take tonight?

The horse was prepared for battle, but victory comes from the Lord, So I'm depending on the Lord.

Is that the message to the team?

Day by day, one player at a time, that's the message.

Weather conditions tonight, We're expecting winds up to fifteen miles per hour in a wintery mix.

How will that impact your ability to throw the ball.

I'm so happy and grateful that the Lord has bested me to play in some snow, to be in true football weather in Cleveland, Ohio, at Huntington bank Field today to get him the glory.

It's a beautiful day.

Who generally means that that's my dog, that's my dog.

I don't think he was actually evil listening to the questions, because you just see you.

He looked at it and he just looking up like some quarterbacks look down at que carts.

And I got James hooking off.

All right, I just I just got a press release that Jason Kelsey, who we love, is going to be hosting a late night show. But as we're doing the talk of Kelsey, who.

Was on Jimmy Kimmel last night, we love.

Jason, Jamis is kind of grabbing some attention of the big personality in the NFL right now, my winter.

We out Jason Kelsey, we love.

Maybe Jamis Winston deserves a late night talk show as well, Kyle Brant, we will start with you or you inure out Jamis late night.

I am out on Jamis waiting.

Let me tell you why, because I won't be able to watch it. I can't watch the late night Show's gotta get up this early. But here's what I'm in on. I still hear the voice of the late.

Don Pardo and storming James.

Winsteon and Jameis comes down the stairs, all right, is great to be here hosting.

Sat In Night Live.

And he makes crab leg jokes and he makes his fingers joke.

Can't you just Jameis Winson, ladies and gentlemen.

Tate McRae, and he comes out Ladia once again.

Shu boozy and it would be incredible.

I want James host Saturday Night Live.

I mean in a skip, Yeah, fantastic.

I like this, this is good.

What do you say, man, Ti, you know I'm out on the late night TV show?

Why has it got to be late night TV show?

Why can't you have like a daytime TV show like we have a Steve Harvey show, We got an Ellen show, like why can't why can't he be during the daytime like primetime four o'clock, five o'clock when everybody gets home from work, flip on a Jameis Winston show and get some get some gospel preached to you, get some positive stuff preach to you after a long day at work listening to your.

Boss, like great.

I put on James so I'm out on the light Time. That's my late night show. I like the daytime show.

He deserves an inspirational show. Whatever they say is like you late night. No, No, kids can't hear that. They need to hear him. Like going to school, Like who is more inspirational than Jamis? He walks in and he's automatically talking about face. He talks about you, the victory through the Lord. And if I'm if I'm an elementary kid coming home from from school after a long day and you.

You're so stressed out.

Oh man, I got homework, I got to do, I got all this, and you turn on reverend brother Jameis win.

I would be inspired. You know, I do gotta knock.

His homework out.

If I want to be the back, I do have to go out play as far as I can. Jamis is gonna make you run through a wall each and every time.

You're just gonna look at him.

Like, are you that serious about it?

Yeah?

You are, and it's oh my, he has fun energy. I'm gonna say I'm out on this only because Jameis Winston is so used to playing on Sunday and working on Sunday. I see him continuing that after his career working on a Sunday Watch out, Joe Oldstein. Here comes mus Winston and his inspiration. He's going to be like he could take this to another level, Like I mean, I think he could take rap songs and turn them into gospel. I mean, that's just how good he is. He's gonna take little metaphors from his playing careers, from his playing career and.

Make that a big thing.

I'm going Jameis Winston the next pastor pastor. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up from mister pastor Jameis Winston. Yes, somebody's got to get we're on this.

Not a TV show.

I even tried to come up with an a maybe like just Jamis like we kind of need like and have a talk show of sorts so he can like help people sort through their problems. That he does give just such inspirational quotes. Play for the decal on your helmet even if it doesn't have one.

I mean that.

Really just it hits right here.

They don't mention what his trainer says, you know, Like what am I trying to say? You know, whatever, whatever you say.

I think we came up with the with the perfect answer. I think Manti really nailed as much as I love the Sunday mornings and Joel Ostein and I do love a late night. I do love Morning the thought and Kyle and I were laughing here of like script cursive writing.

It just says like Jamis and.

It's it's his chair a couch, and it's like in the same vein of Kelly Clarkson or Jennifer Hudson.

Peter.

I think he does interviews like Drew Barrymore, and he's like, tell us.

About the special one in the snow.

NFL network right now. I think our afternoon slate is like we show another game.

That's fine, Like Jamis, I'm gonna take the executives out here.

You have a couch, you have a studio in LA when you're done playing the Jamis Hour.

I like it.

It would be fantastic every afternoon after school.

Peter, what do you always say? We can't keep giving usself for free.

Man, we can't keep giving it off for free.

Guys were just giving that.

Idea's not for free.

Give him executive producer credit, that's.

Need just his first name, just Jamis, Like Oprah.

James, he has that name.

You know what I mean?

James is win.

Very intriguing Monday night matchup when the Ravens come cross country to take on the Chargers right across the street here at Sofi Stadium.

It's it's the Hardball Bawl.

And this will be the third time between Jim and John Harbaugh facing as NFL head coaches, but the first showdown between these two brothers since Super Bowl forty seven when it was the Ravens and the forty nine Ers. John has won both previous matchups, but still gave his flowers to Jim on Thursday.

That's a tough matchup.

It's a very good football team we're playing this week and highly ranked pretty much in every area. Winning football team, very physical, very tough, extremely well coached football team, no question about it. One of the best coaches of this generation, no question. I believe that even if we weren't my brother, I would say the same thing. So we've got our work cutout. Force got to travel across the country and play on Monday night football.

And as we continue to salute the men and women who serve our country, our own Steve Smith Senior recently participated in a flyover with the first Infantry Division station in Fort Riley, Kansas.

Check it out.

Where's my to help me again?

We're just doing the chance that he fly over.

We see their dmon A nine that told me no.

Weapons where they did have to scream me twice for my guns.

All right, clear about that.

They're tiring it.

All right.

Once you're implying get out that day to do us. That's play left, that's good, less step right. Do they have a good time at least.

Last?

Hell?

Yah?

Fine, we see their demon A nine.

Sure, I'm want too far on future on the ground.

So the ground he was ready Kansas City time on tart supposed to be fifteen twenty one.

What was their break early at that?

The aircraft three thousand.

I'm wanna rim with the.

Four.

Everyone actually had one.

I got the fourth third thing of records.

Jeff sounds good.

I want to make sure.

Dave all right, we're sorry about that. Yeah, that's good.

I think I see the stadium offa the nine.

O'clock, a big red things. Yeah, yeah, that's probably it.

Copy that four.

Good Simon target, that Timon target talk from Sidder.

On the field.

It was great.

Look great, I'll give you.

A big meal and Oregland for understand perfect.

Thank you.

We have Downtown.

Insight, Steve Smith Senior's most interesting jobs on the NFL's YouTube channel, and still to come.

We'll help you.

Set those fantasy lightups in a big week as we get closer to the fantasy playoffs.

Adam Rank is here.

Stay with us.

Next, Donkey m.

Good morning Football, Time for little Fantasy Advice presented by FedEx. There's a lot of games to pick two, as he had into Week twelve.

So we're gonna pick a player who we really think is going to light it up this week.

Looking particularly at players on offense, Peter get us rolling here, who do you think is going to really just shine bright this week?

In Week twelve?

Have we ever had a come from way behind offensive Rookie of the year campaign like the one we're getting up in New England.

Oh, I think Drake May.

Is playing fantastic right now, and I'm actually very excited to see how Drake May plays against the Miami Dolphins this weekend.

Patriots lost a tough one to the Rams, but May was unbelievable.

The week before the Patriots won, Drake May was unbelievable.

Drake May is putting up great.

Numbers and I'm excited to see the It's against the hated Dolphins, the Patriots and a history of struggling against Miami down in Miami, but Drake May's never.

Played down there. I am excited to see what Drake May does. It's him and a bunch of guys.

You probably haven't heard of that wide receiver, offensive lineman that you might not be starting on other teams, and yet Drake May finds a way.

So here's my.

Little five second segment on Good Morning Football to get Drake May some love and what's an otherwise lost Patriots season he got.

Come on, I'm clearly gonna go Jared Goff, go Bears. But he's over at the Detroit Lions. He's bawling out right now. I mean twenty touchdowns in there's a stretch where you were just like, he has more, you know, more less more completions than any anybody else.

Right now, He's a six.

Game stretch of like, what is an eighty two percent completion rate And just in the history of the NFL, it hasn't been hasn't been done, has been seen, and I've played with some greats, and I've seen some greats. What he's putting on film right now is nothing but exemplary greatness.

For me.

I got for me, I got somebody that people may not expect, but I got Josh Downs from Indianapolis coach. Now, I know there playing the Lions. I know that they're playing at what I'm expecting. There to be a lot of points put up on the board on the Lion side, So in order.

To keep up with that, the coach got to throw the.

Ball and number one, Josh Downs is the most targeted receiver. It's not Michael Pittman, it's not Alec Pierce, as Josh Downs. He's the most targeted receiver on their team. And not to mention, I know the Lions are great and all, but the Lions are actually allowing the most yards and catches to a wide receiver.

That lines up been a slot in the NFL.

If there's any Achilles Heel to this Lions team, it looks like it's the way that they guard the slot receiver. And just so happens that Josh Downs is a slot receiver for the Indianapolis Coast, I'm expecting Josh Downs to have a big game on Sunday.

Can we bring back the hype train for mister Xavier Worthy. We haven't heard you know Xavier Worthy name in a while. Remember, coming into the season, we're all talking about the speed, you know. I think you know where the Kansas City Chiefs where they're situated right now. They have struggled in the pass and I think Xavier Worthy was supposed to be that answer. And so far this season he's been targeted twelve times on those deep passes. He's only caught three balls out of twelve opportunities, only called three balls of twenty plus yard? Like, why am I giving you that stat? Because he needs that D game. It's the biggest miss right now for the Kansas City Chiefs if they're going to progress. They've got the Panthers this week following that way, following that, they've got the Raiders coming up. So I think this is a great opportunity for them put a stretch together to get him back on track. I'm having a great feeling right now that Xavier Worthy is going to go off and then everyone's going to be right back to attention. Go oh, we do believe in the Chiefs again.

I got an even bigger feeling, and I'm gonna double down. Start DeAndre Hopkins. Guys, the Chiefs are pissed off. They're playing the Panthers this week Start all the Chiefs. Just start, every single chief you have in your roster. Start Kareem Hans, Start DeAndre Hopkins, start Juju Start, Justin Watson starts from ot JP Ryan start, Carson.

Steele, hapers them on two straight.

I don't care.

The Chiefs are mad. They won two strike super off. Peter start, Carson.

Wentze whit he said.

I don't care to start him. Start everybody. They may absolutely unleash.

Something on the on the Panthers this weekend, and good for the Panthers are a scrappy team. But the Chiefs like, all right, fine, we lost the game.

Oh wow, watch what we do now.

I think they're gonna get mad Chiefs this weekend.

And I have to double back to Cam, Jordan.

Cam, you mentioned you shout it out Jared Goff and you said, go bears one of your fellow cow guys.

What's going on with your boy Rogers right now? Wait, we talked about Jared and and he's gonna throw that.

We all just we are we are, you know, systematically speaking, he's gonna find his way. I think you know, Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers, come on, there's been times where he's lost four straight and he said, don't worry about we're gonna figure this out. If the man says we're gonna figure it out, I believe we're gonna figure out.

They just had a head coach change.

He said, hey, oh, I mean typically we're gonna you know, there's one way to do things. I disagree, And next thing I know that coach was gone. Gus Aaron Rodgers is the Rodgers way. He'll figure it out. So you guys have a head coach change.

You haven't lost.

Since we know we had you know, we didn't have a core back have disparaging comments towards the head coach, you know, like they were you know when every Rogers said something, things things were felt. Yeah, you know if Derek Carr said something, then we talk about those are apples oranges. We're not talking about that. What we're talking about is cow greatness.

And you know he's going to figure out col greatness.

See, he protected him, like how Kyle has powers over Madden and guys.

Getting stronger it's amazing.

Still waiting for Thanksgiving, but getting in that Christmas sphere. And there's a Philly Special Christmas album coming out today, Jason Kelsey and Stevie Nicks collaborating to saying, maybe this Christmas.

Let's take a.

Listen, Jason, make sure Stevie can't hear me?

Make sure Szebe can.

This Christmas something?

Maybe? Maybe this?

Hey?

How about that?

So he's doing Monday Night football, he's got a late night talk show now and Jason Kelsey also singing the Philly Special album.

Make sure you get that today.

We do want to give a shout out to our teammates here, Mantiteo and Kim Jordan, our special guests which they have worked together in the past.

I love it, Bro, I'll I'll tell you. I'll tell you this. This, this funny story with Cam. You know working together with Cam has has been I'll start with the funny story.

First.

Cam was really a really great teammate until I gave him a hit call. Now, a hit call in football is when I'm at a disadvantage for a linebacker against a running back in man coverage. I can tell my d n if that running back goes out in the path in the route that he would hit him to slow him down a little bit. So I had to guard Christian McCaffrey a couple of times. And it's a huge mismatch. I'm gonna admit that. And so I tell Cam Cam hit. And Cam was so famous for when he'd be in his stance, in order for me to confirm that he heard me, he would have to tap his butt and Kim would just shake his head the whole time.

Now it was you on your own, bro.

You don't have to worry about covering because I'm gonna get to the quarterback. But if you make me hit him, then I can't do what I'm supposed to do. But we have jobs, like my job is to be seen and your job is to be heard. You know what I'm saying, Like click clatt so he camp hit Na Nah, no Camp just now, when I've locked into the side of the.

I heard you.

In all seriousness about this guy, I've shared this this story not too much, but I've never shared it with him in person. But this guy has had a tremendous impact on my life personally. You know, when I joined the team in twenty seventeen, a lot of the people know about my story, you know, standing from twenty thirteen and Cam invited me as a first year player for them to go to a jay Z concert. And so we went over there at the jay Z concert where that Smoothie King Center where the Pelicans play, and I'm at this jay Z concert and jay Z says these words in that concert. He says, you can't heal what you don't reveal. And for me at that time, who I was holding so much darkness inside of me, For me to hear those words from an artist like jay Z really helped.

Me in my healing process.

But it was all credit to this man for inviting me over to an event that he didn't have to. It was my first year there and so he invited me there and I've always called him and say aa. It was like a lot of my healing a lot of that process and that journey, you know.

Happened because of guys like this.

So this is my brother for like you see all the players on a football field, but it's the players off the footballay Man team.

Team doesn't mean leave or leave somebody. Our team means come to them for whatever they need. And sometimes you got to talk to them on a personal level. Sometimes you gotta deal buck with Mitchell landscape.

You know, there's plenty of those, you know, the appreciate that
