The Good Morning Football Podcast is part of the NFL Podcast Network

Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.

Good Morning Football.

That's right, let's talk some football. This is Good Morning Football. We are live in LA. It's Friday, November twenty ninth, Black Friday.

If you will. There is a game on Prime Video later today.

We're going to talk that game and many others. That's Akbar budgeby Miller. There is angry Runner Kylet, Peter Schrager and Baltimore are still inexplicably with the red Solo Cup in his background. Peter's trying to imply what he got into yesterday.

It was a great one. Let's enjoy. I didn't even show the picture.

He's looking at a cigar afterwards, which did happen a while?

Wait to go drag.

She wanted to make sure his voice was nice and plusky today.

Yeah with the one finger up.

Kyle Brandt.

I hope your time with family was great. And I think you said one of the games you watched through your hands like this. I cannot imagine how you watch the end of that Bears Lions game. Why don't you take us through.

It sitting there like this. I don't get surprised by these games anymore. I don't blink, I don't do anything. It's like, okay, let's just go eat and drink pork. There's no surprise. But if there is for you, we can provide the highlight for you. If you want to go to Dedroit, Michigan. Go ahead. Twenty thirty twenty the Lions win.

They're eleven and one a week from last night they played the Packers.

It'll be great in the meantime.

Thirdly, Matti Abrifush is gonna come out and say, that's my bad.

We messed that up right.

So right there, we like to play that we had and we were hoping that he's gonna call it or get the ball snapped, and then we would have called time out right there. But once it's under seven there, you know, then you're you're you call time out there, then you're basically throwing the ball to the end zone because once it's under twelve, we can't throw it inside with no timeout. And it was third going into fourth, Yeah, so that's that's a big deal. So it was third going into fourth. That's why I wanted to preserve the timeout. I think we handled it the right way. I do believe that. You know, you just read to play, get it in bounce and call time out. And that's why we held it and didn't work out that way we wanted it to.

We can call the time out, we cannot surprise. I'm not going to say surprise or not. Just My job is to go out there and make plays. My job is to get everybody lined up.

That's it. Win games.

So didn't do that today. You know, I could have gave Rome a you know, maybe a little bit more of a jump ball in that situation instead of maybe trying to throw it over his shoulder or anything like that. But you know, with that situation, that's not what happened.

The Nightcap Packers.

First off, it's Jordan Love coming into this game. Of course, we know it's cold, and that's the story with Tua and McDaniel.

They have not won many games in the cold, if any.

Jordan Love and the Packers quietly in a year where we're doing parades with the Lions, the Vikingston Packers keep on winning and in this case, the Packers hold serve. They're nine and three heading in to week thirteen. Let's hear from our guy Tou tounga ya Oa.

It was special.

I think obviously the joke is not getting a turkey leg last year, So to be able to come in here, get the win, get the turkey leg after it was very delicious, just little some to celebrate.

I wouldn't say any of the things that we're out there, as far as the elements, are going to be used as an excuse for the reason as to why we started slow.

You know, when you're on.

The road, it's always tough to communicate and operate at such a high level the way you want to. I would say, from my standpoint and from our team standpoint, we're not going to use any of that as an excuse as to why we you know, we didn't get the start that we wanted.

All right, let's put up our defensive front here and try to force the segment to go three and out. We're going to look at a potential super Bowl matchup this weekend. It's the Eagles and the Ravens. Peter, what will decide this game?

The Eagles offense is going to show up.

We know that this game will be decided whether the Ravens defense can stop anything. We've had back and forth week after week, not knowing what version of the Ravens defense we're gonna get. Well, I promise you this, it's going to take a herculean effort to stop saque and those boys.

Eagles defense. Zach Or is the defensive coordinator. I hope he's in the lab right now.

I hope Zach, who's a thirty two year old first year guy, former player, is working on what they can do, because I watched this offense in person last Week's gonna get his guys.

He might get he might get a hundred, he might get one hundred and fifty. He's gonna get his, and.

Sirianni and Kellen Moore will make sure of it. Unlike Baltimore, where sometimes they stray from going to Derrick Henry, Eagles go straight from going to Saquon. The question is can you find an answer. I'm looking at this numbers right here from last week again the best effort any running back has had this season.

And I'm challenging that Ravens defense.

I'm challenging Rokwon Smith, who should be back. I'm challenging Kyle Hamilton, who can be the best defensive player in football on certain weekends.

And I'm challenging the big boys up front find a way. Here's my declaration.

If you hold Saquan under one hundred, you will win this game.

If you hold one hundred and one hundred, you will win this game. Easier said than done.

I'm going to go on the other side, Peter the other defense. I'm gonna go with the Eagles defense. They've got to swallow up the Ravens offense in a big way. This is the number one defense for a reason. I think the Eagles defense, that front seven with Jalen Carter, Josh Wet who's leading the team in sex, he has to be on point and he's got to keep Lamar contained. That is the leapal weapon that disrupts every single defense. It makes coaches they coach tighter with their butts tight, like, oh no, keep them containing him. But you got to keep contained. But you also have to be able to fly pressure. And then Nikobe Dean, he's got to make all the right adjustments when he's out there. When you got a dynamic guy like Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry in the backfield, you need somebody who's gonna make the right adjustments with people, especially that front line, in the right position and then your guys that bond. I mean, he's gonna be key to disrupting Lamar Jackson and the Ravens potent rushing offense. And then I think that secondary group as well, led by Quinnion Mitchell. He's got to be like saying, Quentin, he's got a lockdown, shut down everybody, twenty four hour lockdown on the receivers. So that way you eliminate the options for Lamar Jackson.

Gonna be a great looking atmosphere here. I mean, the Ravens fans are gonna be electric. They know this is not a regular game. It don't play the Eagles very much. You don't see Eagles at Ravens very often, and there's gonna be a ton of Eagles fans there, huge, huge juice in the building because this feels like this could be a Super Bowl preview.

Listen.

I always love these staffers like, well, when Dereck Henry has this many touches, they win, and people like so, why do you just get them the ball early? You can, but sometimes you're behind, like you can't just hand it to him on first and second down.

For the first three series because Sakuon's running up and down the field.

I want to see the early derreck Henry touches. But if they get behind, then it's Justin Hill comeing in, and I don't think that's the game. Ravens want to play very very fast. Start for the Ravens, keep the energy and keep Henry involved. If Philly gets up ten to nothing, thirteen to three, I don't like this.

For Baltimore.

Ooh okay, here we go. Let's jump all the way to Monday night. This is our second down. The Browns are taken on the Denver Broncos this week, and Jamis Winston, who always has something to say, had this to say about their quarterback Bo Knicks and their head coach n Payton.

Focus on the main thing. What's the main thing going on?

Dan playing the best football we could play against the Denver Broncos, who is a great defense, who has a great young quarterback that's from Alabama that's doing some great things and has a great leader in Sean Payne, Leana.

The keen awareness for a fellow quarterback from Alabama. Of course, Bonnicks made a stop at Auburn before he went on to Oregon. And now Peter could he be the offensive Rookie of the Year as it stands today.

All right, if I have to vote right now, I think I'd be really touring between him and Jaden Daniels, and I think.

I might still go with Daniels. It's not like Jayden's team is not in the playoffs.

It's not like Jayden didn't do all the things he did in the first half of the season. It's just that, well, Jaden daniels this year is going this way. Bone Nix's is going this way. It is like two ships in the night. As Jaden Daniels began to hit that rookie wall and the Commanders have lost three straight and those magical moments are going for the other teams. It seems like Boone Nixon's having everything go right. I wanted to bring up their actual stats if we can, and like it is tough here if you have to call one. I think wins are important too, and I requested wins on this because I think.

That really matters.

They both have seven wins, like they're both like good winning quarterbacks. Right now, I'm going Jaden Daniels, and it's because of just how more bund a situation it was in Washington and how they've been so dreadful. But gosh, all those September and October feelings, they feel like they're long lost. When we're going here towards Thanksgiving, they've lost three straight, even to Hail Mary feels.

Like a year ago.

So I go Daniels, But another win by Knicks, it might be going Denver's way.

I like that that bow Knicks is He's shown a lot of promise, but I think hands down it's still to me jayde Daniels. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that, I mean, he's a true standout rookie quarterback, and especially early in the season, we saw what he was able to do. But it's his early season, you know, dominance that that was to me the big separator because we thought, who would have ever thought that the Washington Commanders would even have this type of lift. We knew he was gonna be good, we knew he was an early draft pick, but no one expected that. I mean, he has them right now, right now, they're in the playoffs right now, and I don't think we saw that coming, especially with the personnel grouping. I think that's something that was really really big. We were all talking about well, who's he gonna throw it to, and who they have an older Eckler and whatever, and he still made it happen. I'm going Jade and Daniels this rookie of the Year. I will not shy away from that. It's been since what four years, twenty twenty since they made the playoffs.

He's put them in really good position. And I think ye been longer.

Broncos have been seven and commanders are both terrible. It's better, makes its interesting, It makes it interesting. Is the dead heat right now? You can't call it like if you were to end right.

Now, I don't. I don't think that voters have made up their mind. I don't think this thing is over.

And every once in a while you get one that really really comes down to the why.

I remember a handful of years.

Ago being at NFL Honors and no one knew if it was going to be Saquon or Baker Mayfield, and both of them were there and they both I think, expected to win. And there's Baker right in front, and there's Saquon, and then the person who came up to present the award was Odell and you're like, oh my god, they're going to give it Saquon, and they did, and I think Baker was really pissed. I think he was really surprised. I'm the same way here, guys. The stats Peter brought up there, they're kind of a push, right.

It's not gonna come down to stats.

Then it's gonna come down to moments like I need some Heisman moments and I need big wins. Bo Nicks has two more nationally televised games primetime games as of right now. Jayden does not. He does have a game against the Eagle that he could win it. It's it's going to come down to that who is Like who are we talking about? In the A bloc, We're like, wow, did you see what this person did last night?

Because I think Jayden could still steal it.

If I had to vote right now, personally, I would vote for bo Nicks. I just think he's been fantastic more recently when the football gets harder, when the team's allegedly adjust to the rookies.

But I still think this is a dead heat and it's whoever has more moments, not stats. I heed the buzzer. I get it.

I've taken Peter quickification in.

Seconds, but left in this in this segment, every single.

Time, you expect me not to go over.

Oh my god, Akbar's still naming the entire roster of the Denver Broncos.

Let's go, Peter, Peter quickly, I can't see the clock. Click quick clarification.

We talked about the Ravens Eagles game already there's a lot of MVP candidates there. We talked about rookie in your hands. When does voting happen? Like when does the story close? So then it's been decided and no matter what a guy does doesn't get a buzzer.

I want to ask questions.

And of the regular season.

James, the regular season final week? Okay, great, good to know. Ky Brandt are right, they're down.

We're looking at Sunday Night Cradcakes. The forty nine Ers.

Take on the Bills Sunday Night Football. Do we close the door on the forty nine ers, Peter? If they lose this game in Buffalo?

I can't close the door because everyone in the NFC West keeps on leaving it open.

The Cardinals, we crowned them last week.

We did like flips over the Kyler Murray, you know, resurgence and then they lose a terrible game to Seattle sixteen to six the Rams. We want to get behind the Rams because they had a fourth quarter and overtime comeback against the Seahawks.

In the very next week, they have a.

Terrible loss to the Eagles on national TV. So where do we stand with the NFC West?

Are we really like?

Yeah, the Seahawks are the team I don't look. A loss is bad, but they're not done yet. Even with a loss that loss, that division is going to be like one of those AFC NFC South divisions this year where it's an eight and eight team that goes into the final week of the season and it's going to be one in a divisional game and it'll be on Sunday Night Football.

And I will just wait until then because I can't.

The Niners play four or out of their next six games against winning teams, and yet they still might make the playoffs even with some losses.

So they're going to the snow.

I don't see them winning this game, but I certainly don't think the season's over if they lose.

Yeah, I'm on the other end, and I'm gonna speak very fast so I can give Kyle enough time to say what he's got to say. All right, First off, it's over. I'm just gonna get straight to it. It's over for the forty nine ers. And I'll tell you why it's over. I'm gonna give you four reasons.

Right.

It's their fourth quarter collapses that they've had during the season. It's the red zone woes that we know they weren't able to capitalize and you know, and score touchdowns in those situations. Defensive third down woes is to me is like three and out. Every defensive player knows that, right, three and out, and we saw that they couldn't capitalize on that, and then the mistackles throughout the year. I think we're gonna see a lot of that at the game that I'm gonna be at. I don't have enough clothes for that game, but I'm gonna try to find something.

Hopefully it's worth it, Kyle go.

I like it well done. I appreciate the speed, and I will try to play it back.

This is such an interesting dynamic between the two because we've talked about this Bills win and they clinched, it's it.

It's over.

No one has clinched this early since I think it was two thousand and nine. It's been that long since the team has already won the division. And by the way, if the Bills win, there's going to be a postgame interview with Josh Allen on the field, and he's going to be asked by whoever the reporter is.

What does it mean you're AFC East champions?

Watch how like completely robotic and detached to you is. He's going to be so aghast at the question, and he's going to hit it so hard about we got more important things to do, but you still have to ask the question.

So look forward to that.

I'm actually I'm with Peter, Like if you look at the NFC West, all right, so it's just the teams are six and five, six and five, five and six, five and six, there's nobody standing out at all, Like, so the Niners could win the division.

It feels like in one way or another, the Rams could.

I want to let them go because I don't like talking about some five hundred teams we let go, or I shouldn't say we. I I let the Bengals go. They've gone fishing after last night. I gotta let the Dolphins go. They've gone fishing. I still don't have the Nick Bosa with the fish chad in the tackle box.

Picture yet because just math.

Math and history two of my least favorite subjects, but both of them are in favor right now.

The forty nine they win this game, It's like we're cooking.

Let's go real quick, Kyle to wrap this. Why is Bill's.

Forty nine ers significant in sports media lore and NFL lore?

Do you know?

Oh tell me, Peter.

Every year this was Chris Berman's Super Bowl pick before this season, every single year, and we never got Bill's versus forty nine ers. So Boomer, this one's for you. I cannot wait to hear him do the highlights on Monday night.

That's awesome. That's perfect. Oh my gosh, forty nine ers that Bills. That's a Sunday night game still to come on our show, Big Games this weekend. That felt like a mad minute because Kyle got a little bit mad. But listen, we're gonna go even faster. You got to share the ball even more. You're up against the clock. Next, we got to get through the rest of the games.

Guys, nobody there goes no wagons like the Bill.

All right, who's gonna light it up? This weekend. Very simple, is it?

Alan is a mahomes Pick anybody you want.

I mean to pick yah Yadiyabi. I don't care. I'll pick anyone. Right after that on the biggest weekend.

Chief spills whoever you want to take.

Good morning football, Good morning football.

If you're looking for deals today, half off a news update for I and Rappaport right now.

In the Raiders Chiefs game. It's Black Friday. What's up? Wrap sheet?

Yeah?

I was gonna go in person, but it's actually better to get deals online. You don't have to go anywhere, stay in your house, crush it from your phone or your computer or your table or whatever. Anyway, let's get to some big news leading into today's Raiders Chiefs game. Both teams are getting some reinforcements. We'll start though with Kandida City because Isaiah Pacheco, who is their leading rusher early in September, midway through September, and who figured to be their leading rusher had he not got injured, he is officially back and ready to roll for today's game. Of course, fractured that fabuliar you seeing it right there, didn't even know how serious it was at the time. Seemed poised to have a big time year, ended up going on IR. We have not seen him on the field since mid September. Was not even on the injury report this week, probably could have gone last week. He is ready to roll in full force today. Plus Charles at Menehu their pass rusher towards ACL in the AFC title game last year. He also was officially back some help off the edge for the Kennes City Chiefs, not that that defense needs it, but they get it anyway. And then for the Las Vegas Raiders they get their starting quarterback or at least one of their starting quarterbacks back Gardner Minshew of course won on IR with that fractured collar bone. Aidan O'Connell starts officially today for the Raiders. Was activated off IR yesterday. It was kind of wait and see a little bit of practice this week to make sure he could go after fracturing that thumb. He is good to go, no issues and starts today.

Okay, good to know ahead of the Black Friday game on Prime Video.

Rap sheet. Appreciate you, thank you so much. Talk to you a little bit. Stay well, let's stick with that game. As you bring up the four boxes of all of our faces. Kyle Brant and I wearing matching T shirts today because this is the Black Friday Football crew. We got our faces in the middle of this. He's got his Anger Runs poster and Kyle and I. We don't just coordinate this kind of stuff. The cool Prime video people send us these cool T shirts and.

Look me, kylele Brand's face in the middle of it. You look great.

Okay, all right, let's look at that game Peter Raiders Chiefs is gay.

You know last year it was Christmas Day and Aidan O'Connell went into Arrowhead and shocked the world, and then the Chiefs went on to rattle off fifteen straight wins. The Chiefs, they have not looked like they've been the dazzling Chiefs of old, but they still win games.

But the Raiders always fight. I don't have my T shirt with me.

I also feel weird putting my face on that crew, like I love those guys.

I wasn't picked to be a part of that crew. I'm not gonna put my face in there. I'm sorry they gave.

It to us. It's a promotion element, all right, okbar you go.

Well.

The Isaiah Pacheckle thing is interesting, but I still think that the Kansas City Chiefs against my Raiders, they're going to take care of business. They need to take care of business, kind of get their momentum going back up again. I'd like to see some explosive offense. I think when you look at the matchup, this offense is going to be far superior than the defense for the Raiders.

So let's see if you can get back to that explosive football.

As I'm putting on the shirt this morning, I'm like, one, I bet Jamie will be wearing it, and two I guarantee Peter will hate it.

And Peter will say, hey.

Listen, I don't see Tony Gonzalez wearing my face on his shirt. Where's Fitzpatrick and Richard Sherman wearing a good morning football shirt?

Where is it? You're right, Peter, you're right.

Well, we're going to work on our marketing budget and we can send out our faces on shirts for those guys who wear because I bet they would, actually, I bet they would get our budget.

All right, I should take it off. I'm kind of a shame, Peter.

I'm going to just get a bunch of Schrager's shirts made and every time you're in studio in La I'm just going to make you stare at your own face on a T shirt.

It's going to be so great.

It makes you so uncomfortable, makes you sweat and your gray sweater. All right, let's go Chargers Falcons. The Chargers are currently sitting in second place in the AFC WES and that'll shake things out differently depending on how today goes in that division. But now we're looking at the Falcons, Peter, what do you inspect in this matchup?

What a huge, huge game this is for both of these teams.

Just as we want to crown the Chargers, it's like they're back and Harbaugh can do it. And look what they did in that big win against the Bengals. They go in at home, they just go and they lose to the Ravens and historic fashion and just get blown out in the end. Both these teams just we need to win and neither one of these franchises are known for clutch victories.

Go change the narratives.

Yeah, this is a great opportunity for Justin Herbert in this offense to take advantage of what I believe is the weakest part of this Falcons team is that defense, So take advantage of that and go out put some big numbers up.

Here's what you're not understanding about the shirt, though, Peter, is that.

Throw the shirt. Let's show the shirt.

You got Carissa, and you got Taylor and then like I'm in the middle. But what you don't understand, Peter is Ryan Fitzpatrick has a beard and crazy and wild. So that's fine. I like that look it. They're all smiling. But fitz is a wild man and we're a part of the team. But I don't know if you knew that about him, But you should be wearing the shirt because I'm wearing the shirt.

Kyle, Kyle, there is a room of Amazon executives who got all these different people they can use, and Jamie Erdall and Kyle Brandt's names came up and they said, no, no, we're good.

You can't put them on.

I'm sure you can't put your face on that shirt.

That's we can because we're family in the football landscape. Peter, Okay, you're offending Amy Palchick with every single take you have about these T shirts.

It's a great gift. Last year they gave us.

A bobblehead I love it.

I like the shirt, and we're just going to triple down on this. Let's go NFC North battle between the eight and three Steelers.

Don't buzz me.

I'm teeing up the conversations the eight and three Steelers and the four and seven Bengals they're coming off of by Peter say some things about the AFC North.

I will, and I'm being dead seriously.

You know, I love those those faces, every single one of them.

I do, I honestly do. And the executives we're friends with most of them. Here we go real quick.

Bengals four and seven, they're gonna be the ultimate spoiler. You know, they're gonna win this game. Like, I'll put everything on this game. This is just what they do, really, Bengals, and then Burrows get them for four hundred yards and just mess things up.

So Bengals are not going away. They might not go to the playoffs, but they are not going away.

Yeah. To take advantage Steelers defense, go get Joe Burrow, Like, stay on top of the AFC North. It used to be the UFC North, but the Bengals fell off. It's not much of a fight right now in this game. I think the Steelers will remain supreme in the AFC North.

Famazon people did a very smart thing, which is they're like, how can we get other people in media to talk about our show.

I know everybody in media has a massive ego and they're very insecure, So let's put their face on the show like they're on the show.

They're not on the show.

But if we send them last year.

A babble ahead of themselves and then a picture of themselves, they won't.

Wear the shirt.

But if they're in it, they will do it and they'll put it on Instagram. Again, no one's saying that you don't love all these people or you don't love and I like how you said most of the execs. It's the fact that they don't wear Good Morning Football shirts at the Amazon desk, and I kind of respect.

I totally respected Peter.

We haven't given them the opportunity to wear a GMFB shirt. Okay, so don't knock it, because I guarantee.

You what, Jamie, why don't I Why don't I send some some angry run shirts?

We have those around, We can send GMSA.

Let's do it, Okay, let's do it, all right, let's let's test this theory a working theory, shall we. Okay, they also wear very fancy outfits, and they get outfitted every week for Thursday Night.

We're in here every day. I'm in a green screen room.

I just wanted to wear this T shirt and I'm wearing purple sweatpants that I just just disclosed everybody.

So that's what's happening here.

That's Friday.

It's a great T shirt. And we love all these games. Let's keep it rolling. The six and five Cardinals take on the nine and two Vikings, who are looking for their fifth straight win. Shregs, what's going on with that smatch of the Minisota.

Daniel Jones signs with the Viking and we do you know, a big story.

But let's not overshadow what this team is doing.

Nine and two and two nine and two Vikings, and no one's talking about them. They started off hot, they lost a couple of games. Everyone got off the bandwagon. I have so much respect for what this Vikings team is doing. I can't wait to watch them against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Yeah, this is gonna be a lot of blitzing in this one. I can't wait for this game as well. I'm really excited to see how Kyler Murray's going to hold up against this Vikings strong defense. And they're still fighting, they're trying to get up on top. So this is going to be a huge opportunity for them to try to figure out a way to continue to move up in the NFC.

All the teams that he played for in the NFL. And you know who never played for the Cardinals or the Vikings, Ryan Fitzpatrick from Amazon, he never played for him from guys serving.

Them on it.

And look at that he's like in shop that he never played for the Cardinals or Viking.

There's me next to him. Look at my face. Cardinals, Vikings never had Fits on the team.

But he'll be on Amazon today at the desk. Love And did you know.

That Win and Fits have a pun. Now they're entering the game.

I'd listen to it.

It's good, it's great.

There it is promotional your shirt excellence, Yeah, I mean it's genius, is straight marketing genius. Everybody looks great, all right, Still to come on our show. We're gonna be a screenprinting business going and we're gonna put Peter Schrager's face and the ranges of emotions. Hey, now we're on the team. There was some concern about the equality of the turkey of this game in the middle of the day yesterday, but I actually think it showed us a lot.

That was Dak Prescott. He's laid up for the year after a hamstring injury.

Drew Locke gets the start with Tommy DeVito down for the Giants.

It was a rough afternoon for Drew Locke.

And then this is Rico Daudle punching it in at the goal line for the Cowboys who take a twenty seven to twenty win over the Giants. This is a big deal for a couple of reasons. Cowboys had not wanted home for six games. They snapped that they beating up on the Giants a lot in the last ten years, and Demarvi and overshow now becomes the first Cowboys player with a pick six and a fuller recovery in a game since two thousand and two. Are we saying the Cowboys are trending in a certain direction, perhaps, and we might talk.

About it on GMFB.

Other things that we like to talk about are friends of the show that have come on, like legendary hip hop artists and pioneer mc light. Her latest single, King King, is dedicated to all of.

The Kings of the world.

It's also the unofficial anthem for the Player's Coalition as they embark on a new agenda to affect change. Mc light sits down with Coalition co founder and Kwan Bolden to talk about this role of music and social justice and their cross section and what's next for the Player's Coalition in year eight.

I'm here with a living legend EMC like, how are you doing?

I'm good and I'm good. I'm glad to be sitting here with you.

What's the honor for me? Grew up listening to your music, huge fan m thank you mi wow from we listen to you hardcore because your music had content. You talked about things that we were going through, things that we were living. So like your music hit different and for me that's why, like you always be a representation of the culture, because you had something to say every time you step to the mic.

So the Player's Coalition now twenty twenty five brings upon what mission.

Yeah, for us, it's gun violence prevention, something that has plagued our country for far too long. We talk about school shootings. You talk about this is an issue that we need to deal with. So for us, we feel like it's on us to take on this issue and prevent a gun from going into the hands of somebody who's twelve, thirteen, fourteen years old.

That's a feat right there, because you know, when you talk about school shootings, it does demand fifteen of you showing up on Capitol Hill to change legislation. And it feels like you all have no qualms about stepping into those shoes and saying it's time for me to not just empathize, but actually do something about what it is that's happening in our communities. We want to give our young people a reason to be more, want more, and not want more in a materialistic type of way, but want more for your life because you have value.

So would you say that hip hop has that responsibility as well?

Yeah, I mean I kind of from a different school of hip hop, and that is we do take on the responsibility. We understand that we are the community. Just because we've made a record and traveled the world doesn't separate us from our people and what it is that we want to see for them. So for many years I allowed my name to be mentioned in anti gun violence or you know, education towards AIDS and what it is. And so I'm usually finding every reason to get involved as opposed to a lot of people finding reasons to not.

Well, you accepted in the player's coalition.

Because we I mean, like I said, I'm a fan, always have been, but more so because of what you stand for. The generation following us need mentors. They need to know how to do it. They need to know that there are people that are with them giving them hope, seeing the best part of them. It's a responsibility and it's something that I take on proudly.

That was really cool.

We had mc light on the show recently. She's born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but she is a forty nine Ers fan, so I have to assume that was pretty cool for her to sit down with Ancuombold and you can see the rest of that feature on the NFL's YouTube channel. Again, Happy Thanksgiving to everybody as we look back at what happened yesterday at the Games, but also ahead to today and Sunday.

Sherry Burris, good morning to you, and as a I don't know.

Casual Packers fan, I'm sure, it was a pretty good day for some Yeah, it was.

A lot to be thankful for, including that Packers win because Jamie, right now they are writing a three game win streak with that win over the Dolphins just yesterday, and it was catching up with Kim Wolf our NFL insider there. That is Christian Watson talking about what this big win meets.

There's a lot of talk about you guys being a young team, youngest in the league. What is it about Jordan that makes you guys all be able to coexist? Doesn't matter who is getting.

The ball on a given day.

Yeah, I mean he just has that vibe and you know that or to him that I mean, we just kind of rally around him. I mean, he's he's always in our each and every one of our corners, and we all we're all just trying to, you know, follow his lead, and we know if we do that, we're gonna be a better team. So, I mean, he just kind of brings us all together.

Obviously, you gonna or this win.

But a week from now, you got the Lions, that the only team that's beat you guys in two months. What goes on your mind playing that team again in Detroit.

I mean, we just got to look at the tape, see what crushing we need to make from him from the last time we played them and from this game, and just find a way to be better.

You know. I think that we had a we had a shot.

We heard ourselves a little bit the last time we played them.

Uh.

I mean, I think that if we continue to do it or we've been doing and just get a little bit better than we have been, I think it's I think it's you know, open season for us.

All right, Yeah, as Kim and Krishian we're talking about that game will be in Detroit, can be one of the hardest places to play in the NFL.

But don't go anywhere more.

GMT Bee coming your way next, good Mond.

It's kind of a tricky weekend when it comes to fantasy football. Is the playoffs inch closer in your leagues? Because there were some games yesterday, there's one today, but you got them. Make sure you check your lineup. So on our show, it's time for Fantasy Advice presented by FedEx, as we spotlight an offensive player that we think may light it up this weekend.

Peter, who you taking?

All right?

So I'm in my father in law's office in Baltimore, and it is like a Baltimore sports treasure trove. And I'm gonna go with an old Colt because before the Colts were in Indianapolis and the Mayflower trucks, they were in Baltimore. This is a radio, a Baltimore Colt helmet radio. Okay, this might be for nineteen seventy one.

It's a radio, Kyle. Take a look at the box that came in. It's got all the teams. Look at the old helmets that you have here, sweet old school. Isn't that cool? Oilers up top?

All right?

Here's a super Bowl five super Bowl ticket which my father in law went to, which is.

Pretty cool, right. I think that's cool.

But the winner of all is Johnny U like figurine that he's got up here.

Come on, So I'm going Anthony Richardson.

Although I feel like Baltimore fans they hate the Colts now because they moved and they ripped their hearts out and the Ers family did them really dirty. But I'm still going Anthony Richardson as my player against the Patriots, all right.

So for me, I'm going to all of these games. So I'm just gonna go run through them real quick. I'm going to the Seahawks Jets game. I like the Seahawks offense. I'm looking for, you know, Jackson Smith and Jigba in that game. I look for them to just put it on the Jets. How about the forty nine Ers and the Bills? This one Josh Allen, just the chance to see him up close in person. I'm now regretting it a little bit because I don't have the proper attire for a game that's supposed to be super cold. I'm not built from that. I'm from La so I don't know about that one. And then of course Saquon Barkley going up and seeing against Derrick Henry, the Ravens, Egles the Birds. I'm excited that one. I think on this one, Saquon Barkley will end up winning that matchup as far as the rushing, He'll have the most of the yards in that game, and they'll end up winning that game.

Hey, okbar, what's that that you're wearing there? It's a catchy little garment that you've got on. I really really like it.

Yeah, there you go right there? Now all right, I actually do now I'm a part of the team. You just don't see me though I don't.

Get to work with them in one of these things is not like the other. What am I going to talk about Steelers versus Bengals. Peter talked about this earlier that he thinks it is going to be a shootout and that Joe Burrow is going to good light it up, and I actually agree with him, but I'm wrong with Pickens. Give me my guy, George Pickens. This is the kind of highlight that I want to see.

If Chase is going to do his.

Thing and for the Bengals, then we need fourteen for Pittsburgh catching the moon ball from Russ Wilson.

I listen, I think right now, I'm going to do it like this.

I think the three most entertaining players in all of football in a given week, Jamis Swintz's number one.

I think Will Levis.

Is number two, and then I have George Pickens at number three.

These are the guys who just can't take your eyes off good bat or otherwise.

So Pickens in a rivalry game will be kind of heated, and the Bengals might just be trying to mess with the Steelers. Give me fourteen for Pittsburgh. I want to watch him. I think he's going a big.

Day, all right, perfect, I go to one of those games, the six games that if I mentioned. Apparently he's just making a trip up and down the East Coast. Better have that easy pass ready, buddy. All right, Doc bar that's a lot of games you gotta get to on Sunday. You have to be able to withstand the heat that comes on this show. And this summer, I picked Zay Flowers for my fantasy roster, and oh my gosh, should I not eat Crow on the day that that happened.

Well, guess what.

Dave Flowers is having his best fantasy football season of his career. Granted he's only a second year wide receiver, bear with me. He's tied for eleventh amongst all wide receivers right now. He's got more Fantasy points than Tyreek, than Cooper Cup, than DK.

Metcalf and AJ Brown.

He's only eleven points off from being a top five wide receiver.

Now.

When I reference the heat, though by that I mean.

The Eagle secondary, they are a formidable opponent. But I think Zay Flowers will rise above, just as I did the flack that I caught for drafting Day flowers this summer because that's my guy, and he was on the show earlier.

Gamy, I gotta give you love because you took no like.

You also said bo Nix was going to be the offensive rookie of the Year in September before everyone did. And you've taken not like look at me. Let's look at what I did. I gotta give you your flowers. You're filled pretty hot right now, Jamie at.

All, Let's go Peter. I got my face on his shirt. I'm winning. It's great, all right, I'm awesome.

At this stuff everybody.

I hope everyone enjoys their day after Thanksgiving. I'm gonna go see Mawana two. I'm also Peter's a constingly area in this. Peter initially said he would wear the Amazon shirt if everyone on the desk and Amazon wore it. Then we kicked it up to herbstreeting Michael's and now Peter will only wear it if Jeff Bezos himself wears a good Morning Football shirt.

So, mister Bezos, the ball of shirts, show it to me.
