The USDA announced late Friday evening that are planning to reopen the southern US border to cattle coming from Mexico. Jenna Stanton and Jess Peterson with United States Cattlemen's Association expressed their disappointment in the decision in our latest episode. US Cattlemen's Association Discusses Disappointment of Border Reopening for Cattle and Lack of Beef Tariffs on Brazil

The Summer of ’26 has brought no shortage of news, headlines, and miles on the road!

From a dust bowl drought that dotted the highline to crop saving timely rains and back to dried out fields, the producers near Culbertson have seen a lot of ups and downs for their crops this year. Following the third leg of the annual For the Farmers tour, we sat down with producers McKade Mahlen, Tanner Jorgenson, Sarah Degn, and Cathy Hintz to discuss how the growing season looked in the 'Platinum Rectangle' of Richland, Roosevelt, and Sheridan County.

The Montana Beef Council met in Billings this week to hear proposals from a lot of different contractors on ways to build beef demand for Montana Beef. Joining us in studio to explain that process and what else the Montana Beef Council has been focused on is MBC President - Andy Kellom, MBC Board Member Justin Iverson, and MBC Executive Director Chaley Harney.
