The USDA announced late Friday evening that are planning to reopen the southern US border to cattle coming from Mexico. Jenna Stanton and Jess Peterson with United States Cattlemen's Association expressed their disappointment in the decision in our latest episode. Giving Producers a Voice - Montana Stockgrowers Producer Profitability Roadshow

The hopes for the latest Farm Bill being passed before elections are all but gone. However, Senate Ag Committee Chairman John Boozman is confident that the Senate will pass a farm bill by the end of this year following it's passage out of the Senate Ag Committee last month. Sen. Boozman talks about the main details producers need to know about in the Farm Bill and the important deadlines they need to have on the top of their minds.
