Killed in Action in South Korea;
Served as a light weapons infantryman;
Awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart;
Parents were Henry J. J. Sr. and Helen Betz;
A brother, Marine Pvt 1-C Robert Joseph Betz, was also killed in Action in Korea; Another brother, Airman Edward J. Betz, served at Camp Kilmer, NJ;

1521 Menard Street
LaSalle Park
St. Louis, MO

Buried in Saints Peter and Paul's Catholic Cemetery;
