Wayne Kaufman
Wayne Kaufman, Vice President of sales with Dalco Home Remodeling, has been in the home improvement industry since 1971, but you have to go farther back than that to understand what really drives him.
A decorated Vietnam Veteran, Wayne served as a sergeant with distinction with the 25th Infantry Division in the U.S. Army earning the Bronze Star and Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster for his bravery and leadership.
However, his contributions didn’t end when he left the battlefield. In 1990, he founded The Kaufman Fund in memory of his late brother Ralph, an Air Force Veteran and St. Louis area philanthropist.
About The Kaufman Fund
The Kaufman Fund Helping Veterans, a 501(c)3 non-profit supports St Louis area Veterans with life’s basic necessities through food, shelter, clothing, medical care and more. With Wayne’s leadership over the past 30+ years, The Kaufman Fund has created 8 programs to help Veterans in need: Legal Referral Program, Dental Referral Program, Mental Health Collaborative, Chiropractic Referral Program, Food for Vets, Artist First for Veterans, tax preparation, and Trees for Vets.
If you are a Veteran or know of a Veteran in need, The Kaufman Fund is a resource to get you help. Go to https://www.thekaufmanfund.org/ for more information. Or you can call: (314) 455-9415
Wayne Kaufman was also inducted into the Missouri Veterans Hall of Fame in 2024.
