Thomas E. Caldwell,
 a repeat guest on our show, is the author of The Mouths of the Wicked, a first-person account of his unlawful prosecution following January 6 and his eventual vindication, which he and his wife Sharon credit to divine intervention. A devout Christian, humorist, artist, conservationist, farmer, and writer, Caldwell is a decorated retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander who served nearly 20 years, primarily in Navy Intelligence. Commissioned via NROTC at the University of Louisville, he served overseas in a communist-insurgency zone, at the Defense Intelligence Agency and Navy Intelligence Command in Washington, D.C., as Commanding Officer of a 1,000-person Reserve Intelligence program in San Diego, Senior Intelligence Officer for Navy Air Wing 30 at Miramar (Top Gun), and later with the Aggressor Squadron teaching enemy air combat tactics. His career ended during the Clinton-era force drawdown. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, three Navy Commendation Medals, three Navy Achievement Medals, and the Humanitarian Service Medal—the first awarded to a Navy officer for actions in a Far East war zone. After service, he worked in radio broadcasting, co-founded a successful software company serving multiple federal agencies (including DOJ), and pursued creative writing. Tom and Sharon, married 26 years, live on his family farm in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, where they practice conservation and country living.
