He spent six years on Capitol Hill, as counsel to U.S. Senator Michael Bennet and as press secretary to U.S. Senator Mark Warner. Riki earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he also worked with then-Governor John Hickenlooper and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, and his B.A. from the George Washington University.
