U.S. Skeptics Travel to Azerbaijan to Attend
UN COP29 Climate Summit
Following the US Presidential Election.
Trump's Win Ensures COP29 Will be Akin to a Funeral Dirge
The most consequential U.S. presidential election for the climate agenda in a generation is now behind us, as yet another UN climate summit convenes. CFACT is once again sending a U.S. delegation to attend the latest climate confab held this year in oil-rich Baku, Azerbaijan. The U.S. presidential election results have massive consequences for the climate change agenda. CFACT will be on the ground again this year following the UN’s every effort to squelch your freedom and continue the dark path of net-zero rationing of energy, food, freedom of movement, and free speech. The CFACT team in Azerbaijan will be led by veteran UN experts Craig Rucker -- who has attended 26 of the summits and Marc Morano, who will be attending his 20th out of the past 29 international UN summits. Azerbaijan is the third petro-state in a row to host the COP summit, with Egypt, and Dubai the previous two years. This year’s summit is being dubbed the “finance COP” because climate and green energy lobbyists are descending on the event to try to funnel even more U.S. taxpayer money into their pockets.
With the Trump-Vance election win, COP 29 will be thrown into chaos with the climate activists scheming on how to derail Trump’s anti-UN climate plans. Craig Rucker, CFACT President notes, “There’ll be a lot at stake at COP 29 in Azerbaijan. Foremost on the plate of those gathered will be how to siphon off billions of dollars from the United States to fund the UN’s radical climate agenda. Their plans, of course, will be greatly hindered by Donald Trump. Regardless, don’t expect them to sit on their hands; they will go forward with all due haste, which is why the American people need to be alerted by the CFACT team on COP happenings."
CFACT’s Marc Morano, who runs Climate Depot, commented: "The Donald Trump win means the United Nations COP29 will turn into a giant wake, with the United Nations facing defeat of their anti human climate agenda. The entire climate agenda is facing utter and complete collapse due to its unrealistic mandates and targets. Failure across the board is occurring, from emission targets to anemic electric vehicle sales to pushback by farmers fighting back against agricultural climate restrictions. Trump's victory will help push the United Nations and their net zero agenda into the dustbin of history.”
Free speech will also be facing a COP29 showdown. The UN wants to make sure YOU cannot voice your opposition to net zero or any aspect of climate fear claims. UN Secretary-General António Guterres urged censoring alleged “misinformation.” Guterres explicitly said, “The proliferation of hate and lies in the digital space is already causing grave global harm -- now.” Not to be outdone, the Journal of the American Medical Association announced that “medical schools are updating their curricula as climate change becomes impossible to ignore.” The group claimed “curbing climate change can help stop the next viral pandemic.” Even former U.S. climate envoy, John Kerry's daughter, Vanessa, now the World Health Organization’s “Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health,” declared, “We must accept that there is no other way forward than to phase out our reliance on fossil fuels. Simply mitigation and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions — is no longer a choice.”
Another key focus of COP 29 will be agriculture and food as climate threats, as many countries have pledged to include food systems in their net zero-plans. In September, efforts to push a Great Food Reset by rationing meat were well underway with international banks being urged to stop financing livestock production. Over 100 climate groups pressured JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup and other banks to cut funding to meat and dairy companies. The Aldi supermarket chain may have the solution for these proposed dwindling meat supplies as it has been reported that the supermarket chain is considering selling “edible insects” to help families afford protein.
Abolishing private car ownership to fight climate change is an idea proposed in a new video produced by the World Economic Forum. The WEF touted a city in Europe that was banning private car ownership and asked, “Would you be happy sharing, not owning, a car?” Bonner Cohen, Ph.D., a senior policy analyst with CFACT, cautions, “Global elites, determined to impose their will on the benighted masses, will stop at nothing. The climate, about which they know practically nothing, serves as a mere pretext for a power grab of epic proportions. He reports, "Trump's Victory is a Resounding Setback for Green Climate Policies. Look for the Trump administration to:
Rollback the EV mandates (EPA tailpipe emissions – already under court challenge) and Biden-era policies to shut down natural gas and coal-fired power plants.
Exit the 2015 Paris Climate Accords. The agreement should be submitted to the Senate as a treaty, which it is, where it requires a two-thirds vote (67 votes) for ratification. It will not get the 67 votes, and that will be the end of it. Greenlight construction of liquid natural gas (LNG) export terminals so that U.S. LNG can be exported to customers around the world. End the Interior Department's plans to install hundreds of thousands of solar panels on federal land in the West. Terminate federal green building codes now being imposed by HUD. Approve oil and natural gas pipelines to strengthen U.S. energy infrastructure. End the war on fossil fuels and reinstate the policy of American energy dominance. Phase out taxpayer subsidies for wind and solar power.
