Larry Conners Commentary on George Soros buying into Audacy's 220 radio stations which includes 6 St. Louis stations including KMOX and 97.1FM Talk. Laurel Tree Opportunities Corp., a group with ties to the Soros-backed Fund for Policy Reform, is poised to gain a controlling interest through the reorganization plan’s issuance of new common stock and special warrants. Audacy is the second-largest U.S. radio station chain. They own 220 stations and reach 165 million listeners monthly. The decision was passed by the three Democrats on the FCC against two Republicans. Soros, 93, had previously bought $400 million of Audacy's debt. With that purchase, he became the largest shareholder after the company declared bankruptcy.
