Today, the Senate will hold a cloture vote on the Laken Riley Act, testing Congress' ability to strengthen America's immigration laws. In her latest Townhall op-ed, Tea Party leader Jenny Beth Martin highlights how the Laken Riley Act, which passed the House on Tuesday, needs bipartisan support in the Senate to be the first bill that President Trump signs into law (link to op-ed). 

"The House has done its job, and it’s now up to the Senate," Jenny Beth wrote in her op-ed. "Will Senate Democrats honor the will of the voters – and, simultaneously, do the smart thing politically – or will they obstruct?”
