It's "Browniegate" in Jefferson City as a conservative activist group sent some lawmakers brownies with a note indicating there was some dog poop in the food...but there really wasn't. It all revolves around the school choice bill. Is this where we are now in politics?

The soon-to-be-former superintendent of the Wentzville School District is getting paid to leave...specifically, about a million dollars plus vacation pay. It'll be 2 payments of $492,000 over the coming months along with $42,000-plus in unused vacation time. Cardinals lost to the A's 6-3 in Oakland. Travel day today. They'll kick off a 6-game homestand on Friday evening with the first of 3 against the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium at 7:15pm. 

Blues wrapped up their season with a 2-1 shootout loss to the Stars in Dallas. They finish with a 43-33-6 record.
