“Between Election Day and Inauguration Day, the Electoral College ensures that every state plays a part in the process of electing our President and Vice President. This process to choose our national executive, outlined in the Constitution, unifies, moderates, and protects our unique form of government. We must continue to reject any calls to dilute the electoral college or alter it with dangerous election schemes like the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPV).”
