For almost 20 years Naidoo has nurtured young artists under the Beama Naidoo School of Music or Aanandhe Raagam. In the early 80's, Luxmi Entertainers- the iconoc band Naidoo was a art of- produced its first original album entitled 'Annai Oru Dheepam' . This legacy continued since then. Transport Minister Barbara Creecy is pushing for a zero-tolerance drinking and driving law proposed through the National Road Traffic Amendment Bill. This after analysis has proven that drinking and driving largely contributes to road fatalities in the country. Therapeutic Manager for The South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Rudhika Naidoo, says a ban on drinking and driving is welcomed, however work needs to be done to do the same with being under the influence of drugs while behind the wheel...
