By Newsbreak Producer, Taliesha Naidoo - Residents from Clayfiend and Stonebridge in Phoenix, north of Durban have been without water for a three days now. IFP PR Councillor, Jonathan Annipen says residents are irate over the water outages they face on a regular occurrence. In response to Newsbreak's queries, the eThekwini Municipality says they are aware of the interruption of water supply in areas supplied through the Northern Aqueduct, which is due to constrained supply from Umgeni's Durban Heights Water Works. The City says interventions to improve water levels have commenced. However, Annipen says the municipality is dragging it's feet in providing the community with a basic service....
