While Europe is always a favoured choice, it's been noted the Mauritius remains the most popular international destination among South Africans. This is supported by data released by the island nation - which showed that South African arrivals exceeded pre-pandemic levels during April & May last year. Travel Insurance Consultants (TIC) Manager Simmy Micheli says if there's anything positive to take away from the COVID-19 pandemic - its that travelers are now more aware of risks than ever before.
