The Bluff in Durban offers a historic whaling station and many opportunities for whale and dolphin watching along the extensive coast. Only two such sites exist in the world and the Bluff is one of them. Chairman of the Community Tourism Association "Soul of South Durban" - Helga du Preez says - whale heritage sites are an initiative aimed at increasing the protection and conservation of these marine mammals and their habitats.
