World leaders are expected to discuss tackling climate change as well as fast-tracking the move to clean energy sources. Countries across the world have been experiencing extreme weather events in which many climate records have been broken. Ahead of COP28, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres issued as stark warning that the world is heading towards a calamitous three-degree Celsius temperature rise by the end of the century.
