By Newsbreak Producer, Genevieve Lanka - A sixteen-year-old scholar is in critical condition after being shot by unknown suspects in Phoenix, north of Durban this morning. According to police, the scholar allegedly robbed a pupil of a cellphone and attempted to flee the scene, when a vehicle with four occupants opened fire on the teen. Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says an investigation is underway. Prem Balram - the spokesperson for private security company - Reaction Unit South Africa responded to the scene.
