By Newsbreak Producer Taliesha Naidoo - Workers' union SAMWU is calling for a moratorium on the dismissal of striking municipal workers by the eThekwini Municipality. SAMWU Regional secretary, Xolani Dube, says about 90-percent of municipal employees have returned to work. The almost three-week long municipal strike crippled service delivery in the city and led to widespread community protests. eThekwini mayor Mxolisi Kaunda says it will take at least two weeks to restore service delivery.
