By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) is pleased with the strides made to restore harmony at Phoenix, Bambayi and surrounding areas in the north of Durban - following the unrest last month. This after 33 people were murdered in alleged racially motivated attacks in the area. 36 people have since been arrested. A team from the Commission visited Phoenix yesterday to engage with community leaders and monitor the situation. KZN Provincial Head - Lloyd Lotz says social cohesion initiatives have yielded positive results and will continue in earnest...
