By Newsbreak Senior Producer Taresh Harreeparshad - Rainfall in certain parts of South Africa has become more extreme over the past 50 years. This is the finding of research from the University of Pretoria (UP). It shows that in some parts of the country- it is becoming far quicker collect the volume of rain now- than it was 50 years ago. These studies were led by Charlotte McBride of the South African Weather Service, among others.
