The legendary author and activist Zuleikha Mayat was laid to rest today in Durban. The 97 year old editor of the world famous "Indian Delights" was instrumental in bringing women from all walks of life from the 1950's through the Women's Cultural Group in Durban. It is here that her love for human rights and civic engagement flourished- leaving behind a legacy that will stand the test of time.
