By Newsbreak Producer Hoosen Ebrahim - In a follow up to a story on the role shelters play in the fight against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) - President Cyril Ramaphosa will host the 2nd Presidential Summit on GBVF at the Gallagher Estate in Midrand next week. Under the theme "Accountability, Acceleration and Amplification" - the Summit will reflect on the work undertaken since the first meeting in 2018, report on key successes and challenges and outline clear strategies to overcome them. Meanwhile, the National Shelter Movement held an indaba last week where the issues around shelter to victims were discussed.
