By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - In light of South Africa's rising Coronavirus figures, organisers of the Green Christmas Street Parade have decided to stage the event virtually. The parade, organised by non-profit group "Over the Walls Together" was initially planned to be held in-person at uMhlanga. The parade will go ahead as planned, but will begin at Durban's Innes Road - with proceedings live streamed to the public. It aims to use song, dance and the festive season cheer to drive awareness about the impact of climate change. This also falls in line with the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal 13. Spokesperson Lisa Sukhdev says next week's event will form part of a concurrent worldwide celebration involving 120 countries...
