By Newsbreak Producer Navitha Gajraj - Teacher's union NAPTOSA in KwaZulu-Natal says teaching and learning could come to a standstill if Eskom does not follow through with exempting public schools from loadshedding. This follows the North Gauteng High Court ruling that schools, hospitals and police stations are to be exempted from rolling blackouts. The court found that loadshedding is an infringement of constitutional rights, and has given the Minister of Public Enterprises 60 days to take all reasonable steps to ensure that these institutions are exempted.
