By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - Multinational tobacco company, Philip Morris International (PMI) believes that by the year 2030, it will become a substantially smoke-free company - with majority revenues coming from non-combustible products. PMI has been long known for its cigarette portfolio comprising of global brands such as Chesterfield, Marlboro and B&H. But they have now embarked on a transformational journey, hoping to prioritize the development of smoke-free products. PMI Area Vice President Sub-Saharan Africa Branislav Bibic says this nicotine alternative vision will be achieved market-by-market, but what about here in South Africa? He says sustainability and health considerations are some of the main reasons behind this change...
