By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - Civil society organisation "Missing Children South Africa" says the country is experiencing a rise in kidnappings especially children after the lifting of the COVID-19 lockdown regulations. The organisation was reacting to the recent kidnapping of eight-year old Abirah Dekhta, who was allegedly taken by two armed men, while on her way to school in Cape Town on Friday morning. Statistics from the organisation indicate that 77% of children are found, leaving at least 23% either never found, trafficked or found deceased. National coordinator Bianca van Aswegen says South Africa has become a hub for human-trafficking syndicates...
