By Newsbreak Producer, Taliesha Naidoo - Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula says the online booking system will not be scrapped. This follows protests by driving school operators across Gauteng. The operators want the system to be scrapped and to allow walk-ins. They say the system is riddled with challenges and is continuously down. But the Road Traffic Management Centre says the technical glitches have since been resolved and the booking slots have been made available. Scores of driving schools operators are currently protesting at the Akasia DLTC in Pretoria and have vowed to shut down other centres if their demands are not met. However Mbalula has condemned the protests and the disruption of services by the protestors. SABC reporter, Tshepo Phagane has more details..........
